The stay started out well. There was a nice welcome from the hotel for being a VIP member for Expedia. Then that same night, we found a HUGE roach in the room and the several after each night. Oh and we paid for a one bedroom suite. 😳 Then, 3 days later comes the water issue. They had some leak and that required that they shut off the water every day, for the next four days straight. It was off in the middle of the day, so you could not shower, you could not flush a toilet. It was disgusting. All the wild when you ask people, they keep saying they’re working on it! Can you imagine being in Mexico without working water? Then the kicker is, the AC stopped working. That went on for almost 4 days. So now we are in a one bedroom suite, no water during midday, and now no AC. They gave no updates to the guests except for the first day. Then they were telling everyone to get out of the rooms around 10:30 AM because of some bug issue. This is supposed to be a five star resort, and the way things were handled was terrible. I’m sure we’ll get the AI response to this below, but we will never go back to this hotel again. The only thing that was good about this entire trip, was Javier with the pool service. He was the absolute best and took great care of us and everyone else continuously in his section. He was the absolute best!

There were water pipe issues on the property during our stay, unluckily. They had to turn off the water, so there were a few days during the day when they shut off the water, so we didn’t have access to cold water, couldn’t flush the toilet, and didn’t have air conditioning. It was very inconvenient.

Maybe it was the fact that it was the “rainy season” but our room was extremely damp. You could feel the wetness in the air. I ended up with a minor cold by the end of our stay. Room service food was awful. Bucanero food was also well under par. My wife got food poisoning from dinner at Neptune’s one night. Spa was great and the rest of the restaurants were okay I guess. The breakfast buffet was really good and they have a fantastic gym.

The layout was nice, Del Arco is one of 3 resorts all together, so all inclusive included the Del Palmar too. Restaurant selection was a good variety. Totally under construction, hot tub at main pool closed, way too busy, had to line up for everything. One restaurant closed for a few days. No where to sit and just have a glass of wine at the end of the night. Ended up having to buy our own liquor from Walmart in order to have a nightcap. Turned out to be a really hard trip to do with a 2 and 4 year old due to the lack of food at usual toddler meal time. Very stressful. Kiddie pool was rough and both kids are scraped up. Would not stay there again.

The pools are too cold for swimming, kids did not want to get in and we stayed in the hot tub which is not ideal.. please heat the pool. Food was ok, but even with all inclusive package we had to sign for every meal. The most annoying part was ordering by the pool, I would order ice cream and if they didn’t find me to sign while I was outside they would call me in the evening to come out and sign for my ice cream.. I already gave you my room number when ordering, why sign again if it’s all included? The facility is clean which is nice, but the furniture and rooms are dated. Having washer and dryer was a plus.

I loved that it is not overcrowded. The pool was very nice and didn't smell like chlorine. Facilities are very clean and well designed. The property is one of the three sister properties and it's fun to be able to walk between the three. The beach is swimmable and not overcrowded. Dining options are great. You have got very fancy Neptune with elements of French cuisine. El Patron that serves Mexican with modern twist ( you can get steak). Taco Bar, room service, American cuisine on the Bucaner ( the pirate boat restaurant). The only suggestion I would have is making water available in general area. You have to go to a restaraunt every time you need a drink of water and get plastic water bottles. Also more pool activities for adults would be nice. Right now it is 12 pm water aerobics for 30 min and pool volleyball for about 30 min. I believe they also have paddle boarding and kayaking.

The restaurant & pool staff at this property is incredible. We stayed 5 nights & enjoyed the service very much. The only problem was the jackhammering everyday with new construction. Wish we would have known before hand as this made relaxing by the pool almost impossible. We made the best of it but an acknowledgement of the noise, by way of discount or other would have been a good move which wasn’t made. Hopefully a letter to the GM will make this right. We would go back but after construction is completed.

Everything about this resort was amazing. There was literally always someone cleaning the grounds, walls, stairs, pools, rooms, etc. Staff was impeccable and very friendly- always with a smile. The food at Del Arco was amazing (spare one undercooked chicken fingers incident). The food at the sister Del Palmar was not as great but can't have everything! Will definitely stay with The Villa Group again!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The rooms could use an upgrade. The staff was friendly but honestly they need more staff. It was hard to flag down staff when at the pool to place an order through no fault of their own cause you can see they are hustling and trying to keep people happy and served. Our room didn't get cleaned on two separate days and it was very hard to get anyone to pick up the phone when ordering room service or the kids club but I honestly think it's because of high demand all around. Would definitely come back but hopefully they get more help for their staff.

I did like this place to relax and enjoy their different bars and amenities. Although I did kill two Roaches one each day in my room. Other than that, everything else was fine.

The positives are the staff, the property grounds and the view. I don't care for all-inclusive resorts because I like to spend a lot of time outside the hotel, so I did not choose that option, but the people that do like that seemed to be having a good time with the activities. If I wanted to stay in the hotel the whole time, my rating might be higher. The negatives for me are the rooms are dated and they smell bad, probably because of the humidity - our humidifier wasn't working, so everything was wet in the room. The hotel is forty-one years old and the lobby was under renovation, so it was not usable and there was construction noise all day. The beach, while nice, is dangerous to swim due to a strong undertow - Medano beach is much nicer. Lastly, we had to walk from the hotel to the gated entrance to catch Ubers or taxis several times per day, so that was inconvenient.

We stayed here for 7 days in mid May. The room was lovely and comfortable. Our balcony overlooked the courtyard/pool area with a view of the ocean. We went to every restaurant in the resort and all were fantastic. The service was amazing all the joints. We will be returning every May for the foreseeable future with out a doubt. We also loved the little trolley that transported us to the other resort Villa del Palmar. It's runs from 7:00am to 10pm. If you do all inclusive, you have access to 5 more restaurants at Villa del Palmar which really adds to the variety of choices. 10/10 for us.

I travelled for one week with my 8yo son. The studio was spotless and fully equipped with more than we needed. Food options a la carte were outstanding including for my son. I was not expecting the food quality and options to be so good. The beach is gorgeous and very swimable for us. Staff were delightful and helped with everything we needed. Nice central location close to downtown but far enough away to be quiet. Very convenient for surfing day trips to Cerritos and Costa Azul. Outstanding overall.

I was there for 1 week and there was NO WIFI service at the resort the ENTIRE time I was there. The Wifi had been 5 days prior to our arrival and was still down when we left the resort. It was very noisy at night and you could hear the upstairs residents pulling furniture or something very loud around constantly from 2:30 AM - 5:30 AM. The walls/ceilings are VERY thin at this resort. I most likely will NEVER stay at this resort again.

As Good As It Gets!!! The property grounds and pools are immaculate. The staff is what makes this place so attractive. Javier at the pool was excellent. He works extremely hard to accommodate your wants and needs. He has a wonderful demeanor and is always smiling. Elizabeth at the El Patron breakfast is great as well. This is just tow of the names I remember. All of the staff is great. The rooms are clean and the bedding is awesome. The food is good in every restaurant on the grounds. You want go wrong staying here!

I have stayed at this hotel before apparently under different management and had a much better experience, but this time was an absolute nightmare. The front desk and reception staff were rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful from the moment we arrived. We booked two rooms but were split across opposite ends of the hotel, separating me from my kids, while the rest of our large family party was placed together. I went to the front desk every single day trying to get us moved, and when a room came available to us, they stuck us in an ADA room that was extremely uncomfortable for my tall husband. To make matters worse, the manager tried to upcharge me for an upgrade that my other family members received for free. When I told them I would be posting a review, they didn’t care — it was clear they saw us as unimportant guests. This was supposed to be a memorable family vacation, but the hotel’s indifference and poor service ruined it. I will never come back, and I would strongly advise anyone looking for a welcoming, customer-focused stay in Cabo to look elsewhere.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The rooms could use an upgrade. The staff was friendly but honestly they need more staff. It was hard to flag down staff when at the pool to place an order through no fault of their own cause you can see they are hustling and trying to keep people happy and served. Our room didn't get cleaned on two separate days and it was very hard to get anyone to pick up the phone when ordering room service or the kids club but I honestly think it's because of high demand all around. Would definitely come back but hopefully they get more help for their staff.

Our stay was great we really enjoyed it a lot. Staff was super friendly for the most part. Some of the receptionist at the check in area were not super friendly. They were not mean but they just didn’t have any personality and were super dry when checking you in or out which was weird for that type of personality to be at the check in area. Also they were very difficult to accommodate if you had any special request. For example I had requested 1 bed when I made my reservation but they gave me 2 queen beds. When I mentioned that I requested 1 bed they were not helping to accommodate it. Their answer was it’s just a request so that’s all you get.

We recently stayed at this property for six nights and got to enjoy most of what it has to offer. Overall, it was a really good experience. Positives: The pool was a definite highlight – warm (seems heated!) and never overcrowded. It was great that I didn’t have to wake up early just to reserve a lounge chair. The beach is swimmable and there are free water activities available, although they do get booked up quickly. I appreciated that the hotel didn’t push the timeshare sales too aggressively, which made check-in smoother (though you do still have to pass by the offers). Shoutout to Jesus, one of the pool waiter – he was especially friendly, helpful, and took care of us, as were most of the waiters. Food-wise, the restaurants offered a great variety, and we never felt the need to leave the property to find something different. There’s also easy access to local shopping and excursions outside of the hotel, which was a bonus since we didn’t have to go all the way to the Marina. The vendors are also honest. The resort shuttle was convenient. Negatives: Compared to Villa del Palmar in Cancun, this property didn’t have as many activities throughout the day. The breakfast, while good, was the same every morning. The nightly shows were entertaining but extremely crowded since they’re shared between both resorts. Great location on the beach reasonably close to town. Wonderful service from the staff for food and drinks in the restaurants, in the pool, and room service. We stayed with two other families and the kids all had a great time in the pool. The beds were super comfortable and the resort was easy to get around.

My stay at Villa del Arco Los Cabos was truly fantastic, and I can't recommend it enough. If you're looking for an all-inclusive resort with excellent service and a beautiful setting, this is the place. The resort's all-inclusive options are exceptional. We ate at a number of restaurants, but the standout by far was Neptune's. The food was incredible, and the service was the best we experienced during our entire stay. The pool area is a huge highlight. The entertainment team, especially Rodo and Toni, were absolutely amazing. They were great with both adults and kids, making sure everyone was having a good time without being intrusive. We also have to give a special shout-out to our poolside server, Chay. He was so attentive and kind, always making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. You're constantly surrounded by breathtaking ocean views, including a perfect vantage point of the famous El Arco. It's the ideal spot to unwind and take in the natural beauty of Los Cabos.

Get the all inclusive package! So, so worth it!! Such an amazing week at Villa del Arco! The food and service was amazing! I enjoyed all the restaurants- Neptunes for seafood was great and so fresh The sports bar had amazing food! Pool and beach service was perfect1 the margaritas and poke bowl were my fav! The taco bar for lunch was my fav! The views from patron restaurant were excellent- overlooking the ocean The hotel was very clean and there were always someone cleaning or shining the property. I would definitely recommend this hotel and can’t wait to stay there again! Only annoying thing was the people trying to push timeshares any chance they got.

We traveled mid June. The resort and view are beautiful. Upon our return as of today 1/3 of our family has become ill and tested positive for Ecoli and Cyclospora. We did not venture off of the resort. I would highly recommend people consider another resort .

Maybe it was the fact that it was the “rainy season” but our room was extremely damp. You could feel the wetness in the air. I ended up with a minor cold by the end of our stay. Room service food was awful. Bucanero food was also well under par. My wife got food poisoning from dinner at Neptune’s one night. Spa was great and the rest of the restaurants were okay I guess. The breakfast buffet was really good and they have a fantastic gym.

We loved this resort! We have been to a few all-inclusive resorts in Cabo and this one by far had the best food. This resort can be booked as all inclusive or non-all-inclusive and I think that’s what made the difference. The only thing is you have to get a check and sign after every meal which is a little annoying for all inclusive guests. There are also premium items on the menu that come at an additional charge that you have to watch out for but they are really easy to distinguish on the menu. The location was great, the service around the pool was outstanding and the housekeeping did a great job! We would definitely stay at this resort again.

The resort was great overall - the pools are nice and the service is top-notch. The food was very lackluster at all the restaurants. It's Cabo, so the area around the resort and on the beach is very sketchy. You couldn't walk on the beach or swim in the ocean without being hassled.

The pools are too cold for swimming, kids did not want to get in and we stayed in the hot tub which is not ideal.. please heat the pool. Food was ok, but even with all inclusive package we had to sign for every meal. The most annoying part was ordering by the pool, I would order ice cream and if they didn’t find me to sign while I was outside they would call me in the evening to come out and sign for my ice cream.. This is our 3rd time coming here and it’s always been amazing. The property is still stunning, kept clean and the all-inclusive food and drinks are the best I’ve had anywhere. However, I have felt customer service took a deep decline this time around. 1. We went to Bella California for dinner and kept being ignored for their Elite members. We were told we can’t make reservations at the restaurants so when we kept getting ignored and pushed aside for other families to be seated we asked what was going on and were simply told “they’re elite members with reservations” no apologies and further explanation. 2. We are a Latin American family and while at the pool, it took a lot of effort to get the waiters attention at the pool. I even had to go find someone to help a few times. I did notice that other families had no issue with this. Waiters were constantly coming to the family next to me to check on them and would walk past mine. 3. Our room was cleaned once out of the 6 nights we stayed here 4. There was construction outside our suite with scaffolding blocking our view. I went to the front desk and asked what kind of construction will be done and if it will it disturb us. Reception said they don’t know the details of the construction. Well…the construction lasted the entire time we were there with loud machinery and debris falling into our patio. Since our room wasn’t cleaned, the debris was never picked up. Reception was not caring about any of this when I mentioned this.

The lobby didn’t have a bar area although the area was large enough. There was only coffee available in the lobby between 6 until 7 am( usually empty by 6:45). In your room you had to make a pot of coffee ( no pods) or wait in line at the restaurant .There was no cash available at checkout in area. Little things but annoying.
