When I arrived the TV remote didn't work the heat didn't come on the hot water never worked the whole time the motel was it a disaster and garbage pile all over the top of the dumpster and on the ground around it look like something out of a transient movie

We cancelled our reservation by phone after seeing the dilapidated conditions. The roof was leaking. There was a fly strip in the main office covered with flies. Unbelievable that this place hasn't been condemned. Now they are trying to charge my credit card. I'm not paying. Expedia should refuse to allow these guys to advertise. The photo looks good. The actual building isn't anything like the photo.

When you first pull in it looks like a murder motel. Looks nothing like the pics on Expedia. The property is rundown and falling apart literary. They put us in a room that uses a regular house key, when we got to the room it wouldn't open the door. The room next to us was condemned due to structural integrity. I didn't feel safe to spend the night so I left. I am trying to get my money back but the property will not answer Expedia so I will probably lose that money. Room smelled like something died. The air conditioner had insulation hanging beside it with a plastic bottle and rags shoved around it. Turned on the a/c and the smell of mold hit instantly. Didnt stay we left and asked for a refund.

The photos shown are not what the rooms really look like. Cockroaches everywhere, rooms leak water when it rains, floors are dirty, the bedding looked as if they just shook the dirt off and put them back on. Would not recommend unless you have no place to go.

Very old property not well maintained. Smoke detector was broken, bathroom floor had standing water on it, no housekeeping, homeless encampment in courtyard, people active all night right outside the door, extremely loud at night all night, walls are very thin.

I book at this motel and when i arrived i couldn't even check in to get the key because the office door was locked. I called no answer so i left. They don't want to give me my money back and i never even went in the room. I was approached by a man looking for drugs during the ten minutes I was trying to get into the office. Very stechy looking and building falling apart. Mattresses sitting outside . Would not recommend.

I stayed here for one night, the property staff were very helpful and kind! sadly that is the kindest thing I have to say about my stay here. it was a cheap option and booked lasted minute due to weather, first off i booked and paid for a king but received a queen. fine, not a big deal right? Upon entering the room I immediately spotted bugs, on most of the furniture. the bed sheets were covered in mysterious stains and the bathroom toilet seat was insanely questionable. there was also random sinkholes in the wood flooring? my neighbor was singing and ranting to himself the whole night?!?! this was one of the weirdest experiences of my life.

Our room was infested with cockroaches. Floors were weak and soft in places. Refrigerator wouldn't close. Tub and sink were grose looked like somebody cooked in it. Wouldn't refund,said we have to go through who ever we booked with.

BUGS, BUGS, BUGS!!! This is the worst place I've EVER stayed! Roaches and bed bugs are just the beginning, there's probably a dozen other species of bugs that I don't know! HORRIBLE, DO NOT STAY HERE! I have a very hard time understanding how any health inspector could let this place stay open! Oh, and the TV didn't work, heat didn't work, and no mirror in the bathroom, if any of that matters above the BUG infestation! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The room is full of cockroaches. It smells of cigarettes. With numerous cigarette Burns on the tub, no coat, hanger or hangar bar. It is nothing like in the photographs on the website. Even had cockroaches on the bed. No coffee machine in the room. But it did have good water pressure and hot water.

Furniture had old stains, cobwebs on the lampshade. The bed was hard which I do like because of my back problems but if you move just a little bit it made loud sounds so I didn't sleep well at all. The blow dryer in the bathroom didn't work either.

We arrived about 5pm on Oct 12 and were told that the King size bed room does not exist for rental, and no other rooms were available. Office staff recommended we try the Travelodge nearby, and said we must arrange refund through Expedia. Hotel reservations customer support tells me the visit was marked "Customer No Show" on their system, which is FALSE. How can the refund be secured? We needed to let the hotel know that we were going to be a late check-in, but we could not find a phone number that would reach the hotel directly. We talked to some guys multiple times who gave us a number for some place in Georgia, not the hotel in Sturgis. When we got to the hotel, there were no rooms available, and the office was closed. We had to go elsewhere. We were really upset that we could not call the hotel directly and then were given the wrong number twice. Never going to that hotel again. Not going to use Expedia again.

Reserved on hotels.com. Arrived a few minutes later, and a gentleman apologetically explained that there were no rooms available, even though my reservation was pre-paid. Further, the efforts to obtain a refund from hotels.com has been the slowest and most painstaking effort I have seen hotels.com have to do for me. I have had similar problems in the past, having to get a refund, but it always worked out within a few minutes. Several days later, hotels.com customer service has to keep contacting me to ask more questions about the sequence of events at the hotel.

False advertising that has allegedly been been addressed by the staff to owner cause me to book a room they do not have. They tried to bait and switch but also apparently have a problem with their computers mixing up all the rooms and bed amounts etc. 10 Minutes of that and before we allowed them to complete the switch because I was tired, we found out there was also roaches at the facility. We left and cancelled. My trip was insured and I still don’t have my money back. The numbers posted in the lobby are not listed and they don’t answer the one that Expedia has on file. So I am stuck without my refund and with a notice from Expedia saying I will hear back in 72 more hours
False advertising that has allegedly been been addressed by the staff to owner cause me to book a room they do not have. They tried to bait and switch but also apparently have a problem with their computers mixing up all the rooms and bed amounts etc. 10 Minutes of that and before we allowed them to complete the switch because I was tired, we found out there was also roaches at the facility. We left and cancelled. My trip was insured and I still don’t have my money back. The numbers posted in the lobby are not listed and they don’t answer the one that Expedia has on file. So I am stuck without my refund and with a notice from Expedia saying I will hear back in 72 more hours

Room smelled horribly. There were homeless people in the parking lot. I used to be a truck driver and stayed in many, many many motel rooms. This was the worst and smelled the worst. I couldn't stay in the room and left to find normal accomodations.

This property is a short drive to dining and shopping... The downside is that it was not what we expected. We have stayed at this property many a times, but I don't know if its because of the new owners, but there were bedbugs and cockroaches everywhere.. I did go to the desk a few times and they did change the bedding and spray for roaches, but its like the roaches got mad...They were on the walls, ceiling, dresser, they got in my CPAP machine. I asked about refund and there isn't any, so needless to say, our 3 nights, I did not get much sleep. The room wasn't ready when we got their, the maid said she didn't know when we were gonna get there and we had to wait about 1/2 hour for them to put a bed in a room for us because we requested 2 beds. The staff did what they could for us.

When you first pull in it looks like a murder motel. Looks nothing like the pics on Expedia. The property is rundown and falling apart literary. They put us in a room that uses a regular house key, when we got to the room it wouldn't open the door. The room next to us was condemned due to structural integrity. I didn't feel safe to spend the night so I left. I am trying to get my money back but the property will not answer Expedia so I will probably lose that money. EXPEDIA SHOULD REMOVE THEM FROM THE SITE, DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL. SPEND THE MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Honestly I never checked in, when I drove up to the place it was a flea bag! I tried to call and cancel, but could never reach a person, and it kept hanging up on me. Very frustrating.

Very old property not well maintained. Smoke detector was broken, bathroom floor had standing water on it, no housekeeping, homeless encampment in courtyard, people active all night right outside the door, extremely loud at night all night, walls are very thin.

I book at this motel and when i arrived i couldn't even check in to get the key because the office door was locked. I called no answer so i left. Very stechy looking and building falling apart. Mattresses sitting outside . Would not recommend.

The room was dirty, looks like it should be condemned. It was cockroach infested. They should not be renting rooms at all. The attendant acted like he was on drugs. Very slow and I had to repeat myself several times.If I would have seen the room first we would not have stayed. It was non refundable. I wouldnt even list this property on your site!
