We reserved a hot tub suite. The cold faucet for the tub only trickled. Took almost 2 hours to get half way. Secondly, tbe shower head was like being hit with needles. Non adjustable. The enclosure was very small. So no way of getting away from it. The hair dryer was there, but no plug within the bathroom to even use it.

We enjoyed our stay in room 32 with the HUGE jet spa tub !! It was wonderful ...the only thing I can say is bring a fan! The air works but where it's positioned at in the room I think it's hard to reach all the area but just bring a fan or run to Walmart 10 mins down the road and buy one like we did lol

The staff at the motel are absolutely phenomenal. They kept the rooms extremely clean, made sure we had everything we needed and even accommodated our truck and trailer. Motel is older, but overall a great experience!

We reserved a non-smoking room. The room absolutely REEKS of cigarette smoke. The filters on the heating unit were filthy. And the clerk who checked us in said he would charge us an extra $10 because there were 2 adults and 3 children. If there is an extra charge for children, I have to wonder if there will be a credit for giving us a smoking room.

Wasn't too sure when we saw the place but the young man on reception was very pleasant, friendly and welcoming. The room was adequate & spacious with 2 comfy double beds, microwave/fridge & coffee maker. Walking into the bathroom was like going back in time with the glass shower cubicle & sink but everywhere was very clean. We only stayed one night but I'd recommend - good value for money.

If you are going to charge like the "BIG BOYS" then you need to offer goods like the "BIG BOYS"! No breakfast offered. Two people in room and we were left 2 snack cookies, 1 baby bottle of water and 1 kids size juice. No Kleenex in the room. The room was clean, but very outdated. No flunger or stopper for sink so I had to force a rag in the sink. No dresser for clothes. I wouldn't stay or recommend this location!!!!!

We never found this place...after asking directions of several locals in Waynesville. Called motel and got answering machine (?)so called again when we got back home. Offered to pay a fee since we missed our reservation and was told " No, your card will be charged for the WHOLE AMOUNT" I don't think this is fair since we tried our best to get there...how about you?

This was my 3rd stay with Parkway Inn and each time was a fine stay. This is not a Ritz-Carlton, but it’s certainly not priced as a Ritz would be either. But, if you’re looking for a good, safe stay in the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area, this just could be your place. The staff has always been more than accommodating, very friendly and each to deal with directly. There is no 3rd party company to deal with because most times you will deal directly with the owner. I will stay with them again when in the area.
