The room was pretty big but the bed are not super comfy. The pool was not working

The pool was closed and it looked like it wasn't even being worked on. There was an ice maker and it was turned off. the shower took a long time to get hot and drained very slow so when you went to take a shower you were standing in several inches of cold water. You couldn't inform the staff because there was nobody there. Everything was done over the phone.

No pool which was a main reason to be there..no notification on their site it was closed..didnt ckean room while we there..no ice..no office attendant

The staff was really friendly. It was a fine place to stay. Our room was non-smoking but probably didn't used to be. It's not an updated place and the pool wasn't open, but it was a bed to sleep in with a shower that worked. The other places to stay around this area are really pricey, so it worked for what we needed at the price we could afford.

Very low cost hotel. Check in fast with camera, no one was there. The pool broken, closed. The wort was the smell. Very bad. Never again.

There was no one on site to check me in; it was handled remotely by putting my credit card in a machine while talking to someone on the phone. Room was in a state of disrepair. Tub was old and dirty. Bathroom door opened into the toilet. Sink did not drain properly and faucet did not provide hot water. Electrical items were not plugged in. Pool was closed and looked like a construction site. No maid service. No breakfast. Parking lot was uneven and in need of paving. For all of the above reasons, I didn't feel totally safe. I did speak to an onsite caretaker who was very nice; none of this is her fault.

This was a quick one night trip to Tanglewood for a concert. The motel was fine for that purpose, but was disappointed in the pool not being open which the listing says there is a pool and the fact that I never actually saw an employee there. When you get there to check in you call a number and the person on the phone walks you through paying as well as making your own key card. Never quite experienced that anywhere before. Not a big fan of that! The room was fine but the service was not at all what I would have expected.

Ice machine broken. Cell phone check in is strange but works well with owner. Locks are outdated and don’t light up with the card entry.

Remote check in. Ice machine did not work. Continental breakfast not available on Friday. Soap-shampoo-conditioner unit was empty- no one cleaned our room with new towels-pool was not even filled-walls and carpeting filthy-clear evidence of an Absentee landlord. We traveled a lot and this was the WORST place we have EVER stayed in!!!

Self checkin was awful. Pool not open was not told it would not be open

There was no staff there. You talked on the phone when we arrived. No one was there when we left. Had to call the phone numbers and leave message. The room was clean and comfortable except for the mattress was terrible it needs a new one badly.

No one at desk. Room not completely serviced. Towels still damp. Sheets put wrongly on bed. No response to telephone calls. Dirty wash cloths and soap in shower. Ridiculous.

I haven't been in a facility as dirty, smelly or run down as this one since the 1940s in Georgia on Rt. US301. We went to our room and immediately cancelled our stay: smells of mold and old tabacco, antique bedspreads that hadn't been washed in years. I would remove this facility from your list of offerings, as it can only denegrate your other listings' reputations.

I can't even begin to describe how horrible this place is. Absolutely the worst cheap, crap motel (dump) I've ever stayed at. No staff to be found at check-in or any other time. The stink in the room was atrocious, the toilet didn't flush, the hot water took a solid 10 mins to work, the sink stunk when the water was on, the hair dryer blew cool air only. No help from staff when asking for another pillow. In fact, we stayed 2 nights and didn't see a sole who worked there. The bed was mushy, sheets discolored and had stains on them. We were totally grossed out by this place. Should be knocked down and rebuilt.

Walls in bathroom near light switch is dirty as well as light switch on wall coming in. Wall paper peeling in room. Needs a good cleaning and paint job to brighten up the place. Curtains are very old and has small holes. Can see the outside on bottom of room door. Had to figure out how to use remote for tv and to get to direct TV. No directions for it. Didn't like the idea of having to call to check in. It's a motel not a a bnb. Should have someone manning the desk. Will I stay again. NO

it was a last minute choice on a busy weekend. All other hotels completely full. From parking lot observation empty. No cars late at night or early in the AM. Open door at check in no obe there. Check in by lobby phone with instructions from someone with heavy Phillipine accent. "Credit card in reader ... print your own room key". No one there in morning. Pictures of hotel not even close to listing. The room spotless clean bathroom as well. linens clean but musty smell

Smelly rrom...lots of dust. Electricity out and had to be moved to another room.

The room smelled of cigarette and cleaner mixed together. The carpet felt like it needed a deep cleaning and left our bare feet filthy. There was no shampoo, conditioner, or shower gel in the dispensers. The sheets had a mixed smell of cleaner and cigarettes as well. I can understand why it was so cheap now.

The room was freezing cold when I entered, after 2 hours with heat on "high" it was still quite cool. The TV was tricky to get working the night I arrived, couldn\'t get it to work at all the next morning.

Property was in good location but room needs updating. We had someone trying to get in our room with their key (they were at the wrong room). There was a dripping sound all night and the heat is loud. Not much sleep

Excellent location and very clean area. Room was nicely appointed. Bathroom door sticky and loud to open and close. One of the queen beds mattress was broken on the end and sloped in the middle in Room 103.

I liked that it was quiet and pet free. Didn’t like the beds they wete so uncomfortable. No one at front desk for check in it was remote check in so no receipt.

The person who answered instructed me how to process my credit card and program my room keys on equipment in the office. I accomplished both successfully. My room #103 was very basic, showing wear and tear, but clean. My bed was comfortable. The heating/ A/C unit was adequate, but outdoor temperatures were mild. The room door did not latch when closed normally, probably due to building settling. The deadbolt worked OK for when I was in the room. I found that, by lifting the door handle with the door closed, I could get the latch to operate, so I was able to lock the door and provide security for my belongings when I wasn't in my room.

Room was clean. Expected dated facility, but both lobby and motel room were run down, with peeled wallpaper border, threadbare and torn furniture and bedding. Falsely advertising in photos a working swimming pool (I brought my swimsuit) but clearly the pool has been closed for some time based on the broken concrete pool surround, torn pool cover, and no water in pool. No actual on-site person for check in. Instead, you call a number, look into a video camera and person on phone talks you through inserting your credit card (if you hadn't prepaid via Expedia, which I did, but woman in line before me had not), then you are issued electronic room keys. Problem? No onsite personnel for security because motel Check-in person could be in a different state. Basic room expected, but advertised room amenities were not actually available in all rooms offered to us; not even a coffee maker in ours. Note the older 2 story house annex building: The second floor stairway landing has a low railing and balustrade height that doesn't meet current building code, so be careful with children. Overall, it met our need for a clean place to sleep under $175 w/tax following a night concert at Tanglewood as an impromptu getaway.

Had to check myself in at the desk. Had me call a number and took for ever t answer. Then I ran my own card and do the door key as well. Room was dated from the 70’s! Smelled of smoke on the room. Luckily I had some Fabreeze with me.

Wow. Don't stay here. So many weird things about this property. You check in by calling a phone number, showing your ID to a camera, and creating your own card key. Not a live person in sight. The room smelled so badly (of mold?), the bathroom sink only had a trickle of water, the entire bathroom floor was sticky, carpet questionable. Beds old and worn, no available outlets for anything, and the one there are were overloaded with multiple plugs. Didn't see any bugs and they had nice towels. Otherwise, not acceptable.

Read reviews about checking in & was worried. I had no problem. Called the phone # - lady answered right away. Walked me through the payment & key card process & I was done & in my room in 5 minutes. She gave us a different room & it was clean & looked like all new bathroom and curtains. We'll definitely stay here again

TERRIBLE - DO NOT BOOK HERE. No one at the desk so we could t check in. Waited, called all numbers, no answer. Luckily the hotel across the street had space!

We did not wind up staying. Required multiple calls to get someone to check us in. Required re-key because the door would not open and almost had to have it done a third time. The TV only got the Smithsonian channel and could not be changed. We could not get any hot water after running the water for 10 minutes. Finished our trip rather than waiting for the next day.

Checking in over the phone was a bit odd. It’s a good, bare bones option. If all you need is a place to sleep for the night, it fits the bill. Amazing breakfast place across the street.

It was cheap and conveniently located to all. It was very quiet and peacefu for a good nights sleep. You couldlwalk to breakfast.

A good value no doubt and location was very good to get to local tourist destinations. However, several problems with key card and the off site check seemed impersonal. The staff member who did finally help us was great however. It’s a two star hotel and most treavelers understand what this means. If you are a value traveler, this place will work for you.

Stayed there for 2 hours and the place felt extremely unsafe - men tapping on my window and walking back and forth in front of my door. There’s zero staff or security on the premise. Smoking and animals everywhere. Left and didn’t stay the night.

If you are looking for a location in Lee, this is very convenient to the highway. Property is old and hasn't been updated in years.

A DUMP - pay a little extra, and stay somewhere else. No joke: this was one of the most disappointing stays I\'ve ever had at any hotel. I would give it zero stars overall, but that\'s not one of the review options. I don\'t often write reviews, but I felt a warning to others was in order so that they don\'t make the same mistake we did. The pool was empty of water (though the site said there was a pool), there was no staff on duty (probably because the place\'s bad condition invites complaints to the management), there was no hot water (and no explanation why), and the rooms were dingy and smelled like cigarette smoke poorly covered up by nauseating air freshener (despite it being an ostensibly non-smoking room). Some of the tenants appeared to be long-term and living in the building, and there are no amenities - not even morning coffee (despite the machinery being in the "reception" area). Our check-in was over the phone, and someone remotely watched me on a video camera as I self-served activating my room key. The worst part is that management and/or Expedia knew or should have known I was being overcharged for this shabby place - $170 ($190 with tax), and I saw it listed the night we (regrettably) stayed there for $100 cheaper. Someone is misrepresenting this place, and I will get to the bottom of it!! I feel completely taken advantage of.

We were very disappointed that the pool was not filled with water. Also, we did not know that there was no continental breakfast. Although the rugs in the room seemd new, the shower curtain had a tear in it, the wall wasn’t very clean, and the dresser was not in good shape. Also, there was a large hole in one of the screens in the window. It was quiet enough. We have stayed here before, unless one more day then you thank you

The property was dated and the repairs were mismatched. Never saw any employees. Check-in was over the phone and even though breakfast was o the ad on-lie, there was no breakfast, confirmed by voice over the phone when he said it was discontinued because of Covid.
