Elevators were old and slow but we liked everything else

The motel was nice and the view (even in the back) was nice! The doggy area, the walking path by the creek, and the island fun area was convenient and fun! Occasionally a car or truck was very loud on the street we were on but not the motels fault!

Needs updated. Noisy. And parking area is not good. No room to move in parking area. Was stuck in parking area because of other vehicles. No room to move.

Our stay was okay. The main complaint we had was the advertisement of free breakfast when all that was available was small microwavable oatmeal cups and coffee. Also the pool needed cleaned and my husband injured his foot on the bottom of the pool. I feel as if the hotel was falsely advertised.

It was a nice place to stay. I did not like the fact that you could not smoke on the property or you were given an additional charge on your credit card even though no littering was done, but you were allowed to drink alcoholic beverages on the balcony which we could not enjoy because of it. It does not have a large breakfast area like it shows. It does have a pool but not very big.

Favorite part about the lodge was the outside pool.

I liked the staffing, my car truck was left open and the office guy called me to tell me. I liked how easy it was to walk to the shops behind the hotel. I didn’t like the pool wasn’t heated as there is a heating lamp inside but doesn’t work.

This property is pretty old, and it is located among many amusement parks and attractions for families and kids. It doesn’t have enough parking spaces for the number of people who stay there. It has the most basic necessities and a coffee maker in each room.

Room was great. Very spacious and clean. The Hotel could use some updating which they looked to be doing. The staff was great. You can not beet the location. Your in the middle of everything. Great River walk in the back of the property and easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Lots of out door space for our Dog. Would defiantly stay again.

The room was adequate but the floors were filthy. We loved the bathroom but I could not get over the super dirty floors

Floors were so dirty the bottoms of my feet were black in 15 minutes. We bought a Swifter. Used 2 pads and they both were black. Shower had mold but it had an overhead shower head that was great. Toilet rocked. We have always wanted to stay there because we liked the exterior. Never again.

My parents, me an my boyfriend, my son an my pregnant daughter all stayed there an my mom an pregnant daughter got ate up with bedbugs all over there body im very upset 😡

We loved our stay there very nice place , everything was clean rooms were very nice . Loved the shower. Also very quiet there. We will be back .

Our room was extremely clean and beds relatively comfortable. No outside noise or noise from other rooms. Would definitely stay here again. Property is convinent to Pigeon Forge as well as Gatlinburg.

One of the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in.

Timbers is our go to motel in Pigeon Forge. It’s convenient to everything. Rooms are always very clean. I’m a housekeeper so I look where some might not and they haven’t disappointed me yet.

We decided to try this place out, because we go some place different each time we come up. The elevator had pee in the middle of the floor. The room itself was nice, but I clean homes, dorms and buildings for a living. The first thing I do at every room is check for bed bugs. While checking the bed I noticed the sheets were stained pretty bad. Then the walls never get cleaned, because there were stains on them as well. With my inspection of the room let’s say to me I would say the room was not deep cleaned and ready for the next person to move in. The staff was nice. There isn’t a free breakfast. When I asked staff the guy told me it was a grab and go (muffins.) the traffic and the attractions around makes it really noisy. Other than that. If they cleaned better I would say it’s not a bad place to stay.

There was roaches in our room

This property is great if you need a lot of space, more than one bathroom, a refrigerator, and a bed for everyone in your party to all stay together. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth, and the heat in the room and water pressure and temperature for the bathrooms were good. It is a nice rustic and country feel, and central location for your time in Pigeon Forge. It is appropriately rated as a 2 star, so it is a good option for that category. The ceiling fans need a little attention from maintenance because once everyone settles down to go to sleep, they squeak which is not good for sleeping.

We stayed in one of the loft rooms with three beds & it was so spacious. The room was clean. There was literally no noise. We heard traffic noise somewhat but we never heard anything within the lodge. Breakfast was just snack type foods, but at least it was something. The beds were a little too firm for me, but everyone has their own preference. We would definitely stay again.

The noise level is a bit loud being right next to busy road going in/out of the island

I booked this room for the location and lodge vibe but it was SO outdated. Just some new furniture and paint would go a long way! Proximity to the island was great!! Put in new beds, TV’s, couches, dressers and jacuzzi tubs and I would be back for sure. The bathrooms had been remodeled but it ended there. Missed opportunity for high marks. Just update and we’ll be back.

Loved the cabin look and the honeymoon suite with the jacuzzi tub. Fireplace was amazing! Can’t wait to come back and definitely stay at the property

Close to everything. Was noisy, but managed.

We loved the kiche of this place. The log cabin feel was amazing and perfect for the kids. The room needed a bit of love; floorboards were separating, more convenient outlets, and the beds were squeeky. But overall nice place to stay.

Location is excellent, the room we had definitely needs to be updated.

Our stay was good except noise from upstairs was very loud day and night. Management was called, but the guest ignored the warning. Only reason we would not stay again is noise.

We had the single loft room with 3 queen size beds and 2 bathrooms. Was very nice for our party of 6

Property advertised as handicap accessible. However, my friend could barely fit her scooter up the small ramp. The unkempt, unclean elevator to get to the 2nd floor was at the very opposite end of the hotel. This hotel should NOT put any handicapped individuals other than on the first floor OR do a serious remodel. In fact, they should not advertise handicap accessible on the first floor due to limited handicapped parking spaces.

The property was very conveniently located so we could walk to lots of places, and the price was very good. Our front desk person Julliann was extreme helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The breakfast was just enough to get you going for the day too.

The gentleman at the front desk was not friendly at all. No greeting or any talk besides asking for credit card & giving us room key. The hotel is very run down. Breakfast isn’t worth calling breakfast. There was dog hair on mattress. Mattress was not firm, very squishy.

Dirty things were broken hard to find staff

There was only one staff that was very pleasant. Jenn . The guy who checked us in was very rude when it came to my service dog, their website said no charge for service dog but he charged me 50. I wont be staying there again.

Large rooms, clean, very nice staff

We got into Timbers Lodge late on December 30. Check in was fine for my sister that left Dollywood because she was unwell. She left the key at the front desk for us, but the new attendant did not want to give us the key because there was note.After showing my ID twice, we were finally permitted. This took 30 minutes because while we were standing at the desk, two noise complaints came in that she had to prioritize. When she came back, the attendant was rattled because she was threatened by a lodger. She called the owner who lives on the property, but did not come out to help. Once we got to our room (jacuzzi loft) the pullout couch was in deplorable condition. Two adults in our party were designated to sleep on it, but the mattress was thin and did not lie flat. The bed frame was bent creating a hump where our backs would be. I returned to the desk to ask if I could swap out a mattress. She called the owner again . Owner told her no and to give us mattress covers. We took 4. This did nothing to help the situation and we made beds on the ground. The next morning we went to complain about how horrible this experience was and to ask for some type of compensation. The reply was no again and we would have to wait until Friday to speak with Julie. Again, totally unacceptable!! We also learned that the grab and go breakfast was over at 9am. We were in the lobby by 9:03am checking out. Honestly, we are not picky people and travel a lot, but this was one of the worst experiences.

We arrived late on the day we were going to be there. Someone from the property gave me a call to make sure i was still coming. Room was clean and was above my expectations. With getting in late i was not able to make it to the breakfast they should do breakfast till check out in my opinion. Staff was frendly and easy to work with. I would stay there again.

We would definitely stay here again. It's very convenient to attractions and dining. Walking distance to The Island and pretty quiet area. Staff is very friendly and professional. The grab and go breakfast was good and the coffee was even better.

We stayed 2 nights and found this location was right where we needed. We visited Flavortown which was a few blocks away. We could walk to The island along a path that followed a creek behind the hotel. The beds were comfortable and I loved the rocking chairs on the first and second level! I would recommend this as a nice place to stay.

The property is in a great location within walking distance to The Island and the Pirates show. It is also only a short drive to Dollywood.

Clean room, friendly staff. Fireplace in room did not work and not a real breakfast.

Our experience was great we just went for the night only thing I wished they would change is the beds and to let pool stay open til 11 we got their late and so the pool was open 45 mins bc they close it at 10,and also breakfast is literally muffins y coffee

Property was very convenient and close to all the attractions and restaurants as well as the island. Only down side is that the air conditioner didn’t get that cold and we found ourself going to the office to ask for a box fan but don’t think they knew exactly what we were asking for. Also, you get a complementary breakfast but it wasn't much of a breakfast. Mostly just muffins and pastries and not actual “breakfast”.

Not much choice of breakfast

Breakfast is very lackluster if you’re looking for a good spot with that this is not the place. However the rooms themselves were very nice staff was very friendly and honestly would definitely stay again

The bed frame had a terrible squeak any time we moved - breakfast should have more options - I realize it’s a grab n go - but it was almost empty whenever we got there. We enjoy this hotel and we will be back.

The room was spacious and accommodating for five adults on a six day stay. All amenities listed at the time of booking were provided. The beds were comfy and rooms surprisingly quiet with minimal noise from other guests or pets staying there. This quaint hotel is in a perfect location with multiple attractions within walking distance. I would highly recommend this facility for folks looking for a relaxing no frills pet friendly place to lodge. The only down side was the meager self serve breakfast offered in a small space in the office. All else was outstanding. I would definitely give a thumbs up and stay here again.

It wasn't top of the line but it was not a bad stay, bed pretty good, good size room for a two double bed regular room, a bit pricey but close to the center of things. Hotel is like mentioned right in the center of all the action which means can be a bit noise, but if you don't mind that and a a decently average room then a good stay. Do not expect anything thing too fancy and it is what it says a grab and go snack type breakfast, muffins yogurt coffee.

Very good transaction. Quick check-in and check-out. Within walking distance to most everything. Office staff friendly and helpful. Only negative is breakfast. There were only muffins and yogurt. But we had breakfast snacks with us. Will stay again.
