as an older couple we did not like the stairs up to our room but in the future we will know to ask for a down stairs room

Everything was great. When we checked in we were advised where breakfast was available and where we could get dinner, it was seamless and great. Room was comfy and access to highway easy on our way out of town.

The worst motel I have ever stayed in. Beds were so uncomfortable, layout of room was odd. Had to walk through a common room stayed with other guest to enter room via the bathroom which locked from the outside ,so other guest had to wait before leaving. Stains on floor and furniture, bathroom was dirty.

Our room was full of mould, the smell was terrible. There was only one coffee cup and even that had a crack in it. Unclean. Overflowing rubbish bin outside room. Unfriendly service from man at reception.

The place is a bit old and tired, needs a good clean and update of outside table & chairs, had mismatched cups in room & mould on doors. Breakfast was very light, just toast & cereal, no muesli or fruit

Exceptionally clean room and helpful staff

Stayed 2 nights, room felt unclean and wasn't served during our stay. Extra blankets in room were unclean and beds were uncomfortable.

It wasn't very clean and the kettle was full of hundreds and hundreds of ants which ran up my hands, arms and all through my bathroom bags/towels when I tried to fill it. Otherwise, it was fine.

Very dusty and unclean. Graffiti on back of bathroom door. Curtains broken. Smudges on wall that looked very suspect.

Greatful for the large space, however our room was not very clean. Lots of cobwebs. Paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom. A tissue used to fill a small hole in the wall. No blankets on beds, and not enough in the cupboard for every bed to have a blanket. No spoons and bent forks in the kitchenette.

Overall the place was okay. Bit run down and in need of a touch of paint and a dusting of cobwebs but as we were only there for the night it had a good shower and clean linen, tv and aircon.

Booked online and arrived to find the room I’d booked given to the person who just drove in apparently there was a lag between me booking and hotel receiving email confirmation from wotif. Only had one room left which was very dirty, bed and pillows need replacing. Had to use shoulder to open door as it needs repairing. Glass doors had kids smeared food all over them. Only good part was the meal at the Bowls Club, staff very friendly and food delicious.

The position is great, didn’t like the shower bath , it’s a bit slippery, the motel is old but very clean, very quiet.

Room was very dated and evident of something built 30 years ago. Air con was very good.

The motel rooms are dated and run down,need renovating. Paint peeling in bathroom, usual mouldy joins in shower. Noisy fridge, carpet lifting.The beds are old and very uncomfortable, one double sagged to the middle the other hard as a rock.The front rooms (which ours was a family room)are right on main road and in the flight path for the airport. Have stayed at other motels on the same road but this has been the worst one.

Good location but very noisy an property could do with refurbishment

not too bad but the beds were terrible, and thats the one thing you need after travelling is a good comfortable bed and pillow.

Apart from the noise of the planes it was nice. Rooms need a little refurbishment but otherwise good.

Property listed as a motel with full daily housekeeping. There has apparently been a change of ownership but the info has not been updated in the advertising, the notes in the bathroom about if you want fresh towels, the please clean my room signs and also in the property guide book. Resulted in our towels remaining on the floor until we had to call and request new ones. The room we were in also had some very sticky doors - the bathroom the ply is mostly separated from the rest of the door leaving you pulling on something broken and also the front door would get stuck that needed a couple of full weight pulls to get it open. Bed was comfy, tv was great but not refilling tea/coffee amenities or housekeeping on the days you request it mid stay isn't really on when it's booked as advertised. It's not a self-service apartment. So please take note.

Close to everything. Clean basic room with comfy bed. Man at reception was very patient and helpful.

Rooms where ok, but the reception guy was so rude, customer service was terrible , he kept insinuating we were locals when we told him were from clermont and seemed like the guy wasnt going to check us in

The manager had a very offhand manner. He gave me a key and when I entered the room, the bed had been slept in and the room had not been cleaned, wet towels in the bathroom, full rubbish bins etc. I returned and told the manager and he just gave me a key to the room next door and said go there. Rubbish outside the rooms. The new room was clean and quite ok. An apology or some interest from the manager would have made a difference to my comment.

I arrived at 12pm and the reception was unmanned so I rang the number on the door and the man said, yeah mate someone will be back in an hour! (Which Hotel or Motel closes during the day for lunch). So that’s the first issue. The man was very short and sharp with greeting me when I came back and made a major point that breakfast is closed at 8:30AM sharp. I got to the room after taking a while to find it coz all the signage has come off and I sat on the bed and it collapsed. I looked underneath and the two end wheels had clearly come out but no one bothered to put them back in. They were just shoved under the bed. I then heard this vibrating noise every 30 seconds to a minute and it was annoying so I complained about that and advised him of the bed and he says, oh **** No mention of changing rooms or fixing it. He said, Monday morning we will attend to it. I then contacted Hotels.com and asked what can I do about a refund or get a free night the next night. They contacted him and he was obviously having a bad day and he came over, knocked on the door, Told me to leave the property and I had 15 minutes to get out. He was looking around the room for the key and snatched it off me and stormed off. I tried to reason with him but he was not having anything to do with it. I don’t recommend to stay in the White Lace. Extremely bad service and rooms and just a bit of a joke.

Upon arrival of our stay we had been double booked which meant we walked into a room that was already being occupied and at 9 pm at night was all we wanted to deal with So that was a huge let down Staff were good in fixing the problem in giving us another room but this kind of mistake shouldn’t happen

Breakfast hours only 6.30 to 8am food selection limited Rooms mot serviced daily - you have to chase cleaners for more supplies if staying multiple nights Manager wouldnt extend checkout by 1 hour even though cleaner said she would do our room last and then manager walked past to see if we had vacated the room Manager charged accommodation without my knowledge even though i told him it was paid through Wotif

The room was dated and a bit dirty in spots. You are under the flight path so it sounds like planes landing on top of you until 11pm then starts again at 5am. The free continental breakfast was a plus though.

Didn’t serve Breakfast after being mention that it’s including stay.

Quiet, nice atmosphere. Breakfast was just right. Room was cosy with no issues. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you.

Dirty, musty and moldy. I didn’t want to walk on the floor without shoes as the carpet had stains and looked dirty. The bathroom had mold on the ceilings and all around the bath/shower. The first thing you are greeted with walking into the room is a pungent musty smell. Breakfast was free, can’t expect much I suppose. “Dining room” was dirty, crumbs everywhere, tables not cleaned between use. When done eating, you put your plates etc into a tub. The hot water boiler to make tea and coffee had bugs in it.

Property was tired and needed general maintenance. Liked the continental breakfast included in the price (basic but adequate) was very quiet!

The rooms are vey dated and need renovating badly. The free breakfast was terrible all the cereals were stale.
