Very friendly and attentive Staff. Small secluded property within walking distance of Boca de Tomatlan where you can get anywhere by Bus or Water Taxi. The management takes extra pride in the garden are with thoughtful ornaments and waterfalls and enough space to roam around. Hammock through the privat beach and garden area. Kayaks and Paddleboards included. So are the dolphins that you may see in the bay while having breakfast at the terrace. Speaking of food. Freshly cooked to your order. And when we requested a fresh coconut we got one organized in no time. Thanks Villa LaLa team for making our stay amazing!

The staff was very attentive! I wasn’t sure if the ocean would be swimmable, but it def was! They have kayaks and paddle boarding. They are able to call a boat to take you to island near by. View is unmatched. Love this place, will be back again

Very romantic hotel we went to as a family but I didn't know that. The location was wonderful, resort was unique, clean, staff were helpful and kind and the food was really impressive and good. We only walked through the nearby town on our way to the shoreline hike so no comments on that. Hike is a challenge if you don't have good footwear but we made it to the first beach and took a boat back. Their pool area is stunning and the grounds are very well thought out with lots of privacy. We were all happy with the hotel!

My wife and I stayed here for four nights and loved every minute of it. The concierge took care of our transportation to the hotel from the Airport, booked our fishing excursion, booked in-room massages, and pointed us in the right direction for our hike to Los Animas beach. We have nothing but good things to say about the food at the hotel, drinks, and the beautiful surroundings! If you’re looking for the perfect place to spend some quality one-on-one time with your significant other, look no further!

Stayed in the junio suite with a walkout into the garden area. This area was clean and had a great view. Very close to pool and bar. Bed was amazing and covers were great. Only has 12 rooms total so it’s very private and unique. This makes service amazing also. It is a perfect place for a couple. It was our 41/42 bdays this week and we had a blast.

For my BDay i went to Villa Lala. This is one of the most unique hotels in the PV area. It's a a beautiful space entrenched in the mountain and it overlooks the entrie cove. The biew is surreal, magical, and breathtaking. An infinity pool with a swing, how do you not love this?! Alba and her staff were amazing and kind. Great trip for 2-3 days max. Loved it!!

Where do I start… this Villa is beautiful. Everything about it displays all the energy time and love put into it. The landscape the water streams. I was in awe. I felt like a fairy in the garden area. Perfect honeymoon, baby moon or just anytime. The rooms were impressive the architecture that went into this every detail. It was clean the shower was clean. I’m picky about walking barefoot at hotels. But this playa was an exception it’s clean! All the shower bath and restrooms are open. That might be a problem for a modest person. It did not bother me at all. You are situated on a mountain cliff overlooking the bay. The sunrise and sunsets are magical. It’s pretty quiet other than the taxi boats coming in and out. I recommend this place you will not regret this.

I could not have been happier with our stay at Villa Lala. It exceeded my expectations in every possible way! The rooms were incredibly clean and beautiful, the customer service was excellent, the property was incredible (especially at night), and the location is great too. They even held our bags for us while we went hiking after we checked out! I wish our stay could have been longer. I will certainly be back!

Our stay at Villa Lala was spectacular. The views of the ocean were beautiful beyond words. The gardens were landscaped perfectly and the photos could never do it justice. The staff was very kind, special shout out to Catalina who made our stay extra special. We will absolutely be back.

This property is absolutely stunning—an ideal romantic escape for couples looking to truly unplug. It’s peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, offering a serene atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. We spent two nights in the Hummingbird Suite, which was the highlight of our stay—charming, private, and perfectly designed. We also stayed two nights in the Penthouse, which had equally beautiful views with a luxury feel but much smaller. The views are truly breathtaking, the food was consistently delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. There are so many lovely spots around the property to relax and unwind. We had a couples massage on the terrace that felt like absolute heaven, and kayaking was easily one of my favorite parts of the experience. Just a heads-up—this resort is very critter-friendly! So if bugs, flies, baby lizards, iguanas, or small crabs aren’t your thing, you might want to keep that in mind 😂 All in all, this was a 10/10 stay. We’ll absolutely be back!

I think this is the best hotel stay I've ever had. We stayed in a junior suite, I think it's called. They have rooms upward to over $1k USD/ night, but this room was in the $200s. All of the staff were attentive to our needs. The property is beautiful. The water in Boca was brown due to the heavy rains each day coming downriver, so go when it's dryer if that type of thing bothers you. It's a bit of a sketchy walk to Boca along a road with minimal sidewalk, but we didn't want to leave the hotel once we settled in. Plumbing and hot water were A+. I overheard someone complaining about bugs in their room, and we experienced similar when we stayed at nearby Villa Armonia, so we knew to keep our lights to a minimum once it started raining at night.

Stayed 4 nights/5 days here and loved our time! So many positives. We had the master suite plus - the room was massive and the views incredible. Super comfortable bed and pillows. The property is gorgeous and so well maintained… a true oasis. We loved lounging by the pool or in the hammock by the dock. All the staff were so friendly and polite. The cocktails are delicious!! Breakfast is included and was our favorite part of the day! Lunch menu was great too - fish ceviche our favorite. However, the dinner options were just ok, I think more simple or Mexican forward dishes would be better. We also booked couples massages on the treehouse terrace and it was amazing. Only con we have to mention would be to be careful if you have a serious allergy. My husband is severely allergic to nuts and although we mentioned this upon check in and told the servers every time we ordered, it took a few days for them to understand it seemed. We were sent out a peanut chili/hot sauce quite a few times, peanut butter at breakfast etc. Also we do not recommend the stuffed mushrooms…. maybe the worst dish we have ever ordered 😅 everything else was great though!!!

Stayed in the junio suite with a walkout into the garden area. This area was clean and had a great view. Very close to pool and bar. Bed was amazing and covers were great. Only has 12 rooms total so it’s very private and unique. This makes service amazing also. It is a perfect place for a couple. It was our 41/42 bdays this week and we had a blast.

HORRIBLE experience! The wrong night was booked by either Hotels.com or the hotel, the night reserved was prior to when we even arrived in Mexico. They refused to work with us, or give a refund. The only thing the offered us was paying full price for a new room that was 3x as much as the room we had booked. My partner and I were traveling for my birthday and our anniversary, so this was a huge disappointment and completely threw a wrench in our plans. Very disappointing and will certainly never be booking here again.

Very friendly and attentive Staff. Small secluded property within walking distance of Boca de Tomatlan where you can get anywhere by Bus or Water Taxi. The management takes extra pride in the garden are with thoughtful ornaments and waterfalls and enough space to roam around. Hammock through the privat beach and garden area. Kayaks and Paddleboards included. So are the dolphins that you may see in the bay while having breakfast at the terrace. Speaking of food. Freshly cooked to your order. And when we requested a fresh coconut we got one organized in no time. Thanks Villa LaLa team for making our stay amazing!

This place was beautiful! I went solo as an African American female and I felt completely safe! The staff was amazing, calm, spoke both languages, patient, kind and helpful! It was a beautiful place to get away. Especially for a couple, or even to go love on yourself! I felt completely comfortable here. When I wanted to go interact with the outside, a car was called for me with no hassle. The front desk handled everything including my laundry, cleanliness of room and any other needs. I was all reactive and give them 5 stars. Hands down. The pictures and videos were exactly the same as shown and worth it!

We stayed here for 6 nights and here are the pros and cons: Pros: 1. Very nice and private experience 2. Beautiful scenery 3. Nice pool 4. Some of the girls were sweet and helpful Cons: 1. As an Expedia VIP member we basically never get a room upgrade since they say it’s based on availability. Even their rooms are empty they did not upgrade our room 2. For room cleaning: the first morning we had to ask 3 times for them to clean our rooms. Which is frustrating because that’s the minimum we expected from such a nice hotel. You have to ask them to come clean your room like every day 3. The included breakfast: we had a few options on the menu and it was VERY limited. 4. The shower was super small 5. Our room had garden access. Which was beautiful but in the morning when all the workers passed by they would look inside our room. Very uncomfortable when you wanna walk with a towel

The concierge took care of our transportation to the hotel from the Airport, booked our fishing excursion, booked in-room massages, and pointed us in the right direction for our hike to Los Animas beach. This was a beautiful spot South of PV. It was a 50 min drive away from the airport but the views this place has is incredible. Service is great, quiet and lots of options to pick from when it came to tables with a view. Intimate and quiet great for a little getaway.

I think this is the best hotel stay I've ever had. We stayed in a junior suite, I think it's called. They have rooms upward to over $1k USD/ night, but this room was in the $200s. All of the staff were attentive to our needs. The property is beautiful. The water in Boca was brown due to the heavy rains each day coming downriver, so go when it's dryer if that type of thing bothers you. It's a bit of a sketchy walk to Boca along a road with minimal sidewalk, but we didn't want to leave the hotel once we settled in. Plumbing and hot water were A+. I overheard someone complaining about bugs in their room, and we experienced similar when we stayed at nearby Villa Armonia, so we knew to keep our lights to a minimum once it started raining at night.

Very romantic hotel we went to as a family but I didn't know that. The location was wonderful, resort was unique, clean, staff were helpful and kind and the food was really impressive and good. We only walked through the nearby town on our way to the shoreline hike so no comments on that. Hike is a challenge if you don't have good footwear but we made it to the first beach and took a boat back. Their pool area is stunning and the grounds are very well thought out with lots of privacy. We were all happy with the hotel!

Villa Lala is a beautiful, tucked away slice of paradise The views of the bay are gorgeous and the property has lots of little magical spots The staff was wonderful, the beds were heavenly! The one thing I didn't love was the food You don't have many choices of places to eat near the hotel, so I feel like they really need to up heir game and have the food quality match the hotel quality

This hotel was truly EXCEPTIONAL! It exceeded my expectations to the point where I'm already trying to book my next stay there. Although it's a 30 minute drive to Malecon, it's worth it. It's safe, quiet and because there are only like 9 rooms on the property, it's a very intimate setting. The staff was phenomenal - everyone from Maria at the front desk, to Dulce and Diana who made sure we always had the best margaritas (the cucumber blended margarita is a must btw!), to Abi who took care of us when we dined there, what an amazing group of people. This place is at the top of my favorite destinations, highly recommend!
