No parking available at the hotel. Guests are directed to a public parking garage and pay at their own expense. This garage does not accommodate anything bigger then a car. Guests are left on their own to find parking. Ended up paying $60.00 for parking. Would like to have a credit considering the $22.00 per room valet credit offered at time of booking was not honored

Great location, nice rooms, friendly staff. The only downside is the parking situation, two options, use their valet (40 bucks tax incl) or you park it in a spot about 900m for 25 bucks plus taxes.

The location is great - walking distance to the old city and all the attractions. The parking is the pitfall. It's just horrible. Everything else is very good - room is spacious and clean, staff is friendly.

Funky hotel, very decent for the price. We had an issue of arriving back at 10pm after a very hot summer day, needing showers, and the water was out. We called the front desk and they advised there was an emergency and would be out until 1am. Considering i keep getting pointless messages from the hotel to my expedia account, maybe they could also message important things like you dont have water all night?? Also, they have a lovely terrace to sit out on but it closes at 9pm which is pretty useless in the summer, that is when it just starts to be sunset and the lights come on and youd want to sit and relax.

Stayed at this hotel with my partner for the long weekend. Location-wise, it's super convenient, considering that you're close to two subway stations, and can easily also walk to Chinatown or even to Vieux-Montreal. The room was equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, a simple Nespresso coffee maker, etc., if that's something that you need. There were a few things that could be off-putting to some people: 1) The elevators are super slow. There's only one elevator for everybody in the hotel, and there are many floors. Sometimes you're waiting for quite some time. My partner and I would sometimes use the stairwell when possible; 2) The sheets were kind of weird. Basically one flat sheet above and another flat sheet below the duvet (vs. using a duvet cover); so it moved around a lot when we woke up. Otherwise, convenient, quiet, and a simple place to stay in if you just need a place to sleep, etc.

The hotel is cheaply built and is already showing a lot of wear. It is in a part of Montreal where there are lots of people asking for money on the streets and people who are clearly high on drugs. Despite this, there is no security at the front door and no card tap security in the elevator. The front desk was messy and staffed by only on receptionist and the valet parker. The lobby was full of leaves that had blown in and which were just left there. the valet parking only is available 7.30-10.30 which does not allow for either an early departure or getting back a little later after a night out. Very poor overall

Great location, lots of fun nearby. Nice, clean, spacious rooms. Fitness room is small, could be a little more furnished. Nevertheless, I keep coming back, as the price is good.

Very disappointing experience. When I checked in, I was given a room that had not been cleaned at all. On top of that, the staff was unsure and asked me to wait at the reception while they “double-checked” whether the room was cleaned or not. This is not professional and not acceptable for a hotel. Basic standards like cleanliness and proper room preparation were clearly not met. I would not recommend staying here. No compensation, nothing.

The hygiene of this hotel is extremely poor. The bed linens had blood stains and were full of hair, and the walls were covered with many dirty marks. After reporting these issues, no one responded or tried to resolve the problem. Very disappointing experience.

Headboard in room had stains, walls were stained, sheets were stained as well as the duvet which didn’t have a duvet cover it had two flat sheets in between which didn’t do anything. The hallways smelled like pee. At 9:30am while we were sleeping housekeeping knocked twice then proceeded to open the door and i had to scream for her to understand we were inside. (no the service please sign was not on the door). I wouldn’t stay here again and the price was way too high for the quality of this hotel. Pictures on website are pretty deceiving.

The hotel is very central and great for getting around to everything! The inside is very tired looking and two of the three sets of drapes in our room has various stains on them. The bed was ver comfortable but there is definitely some care and attention that could be done on the inside. Front staff were friendly enough, but not your typical hotel reception staff - more like a bunch or friends hanging out behind the desk. This hotel ‘could’ be nice - it’s trying hard to be trendy & contemporary in decor, but it’s just done cheaply. Overall, not awful, just ok - and you get what you pay for as it is really reasonably priced for its location,

ZERO1 is at a great location clove to Complex DesJardins with many shops and dining options and the IGA Supermarket (very convenient) and the hotel is well kept. If you get the rate with breakfast you can enjoy a self-service good breakfast at the restaurant directly accessible from inside the hotel. My only observation is that the internet was kind of choppy during my stay and the temperature control is not local to your room. You have to call Front Desk so they change your temperature settings remotely which the temperature variation during Fall was a bit frustrating. Other than that, overall I had a good experience.

Yes kitchen was fully equipped. However, toilet roll holder in washroom was broken and roll was falling down. Stand shower in washroom was small and on top of that it did neither had sliding door nor curtain, therefore taking shower was inconvenient because of risk of water spill into the washroom floor.

When we arrived, our room was not ready, so we waited about 20 minutes. We were told that they were short-staffed - because it is their busy season - so we would have to request room cleaning the day before we wanted it, or no cleaning would be done. When we got to our room, the fridge did not work. They brought us broken fridge after broken fridge, until finally the 4th fridge worked. We were told that they had a basement full of broken second-hand fridges that they repair as needed. When we complained about the fridge situation, we were given free breakfast that was valid only on the following day. Anytime we needed something (e.g., the fridge replaced), they took about 20-60 minutes to do it. There was often no one at the front desk, and a sign that said: Back in 5 minutes. The bedding was odd - a duvet between 2 straight sheets - and pillows that were very large and firm. The room was okay, but a bit rough around the edges. The location worked well for what we wanted (we were there for a music festival), and the layout was ideal for 2 friends who wanted separate rooms. So overall, not bad, but lots of room for improvement.

They didn’t clean the room for 3 consecutive days. At some point the manager himself kept saying they will clean the room in 10 minutes, while I was waiting in the lobby. I would wait for about 30 minutes then checked and nothing happened. Then I had gone back to the manager to check again and he apologized and said it will be taken care of in about 5 minutes. I would wait in the lobby again for about 30 minutes and had checked and it turned out they didn’t clean again. I repeated the process 3 times and the same manager kept over promising the room will be cleaned in 10 minutes but nothing happened. On my last check with the receptionist the manager had left and so did the cleaning crew and I had no choice but waiting till next day. Next days they over promised again and the room didn’t get cleaned until the fourth day.

The service wasn't very welcoming, as if you were bothering someone when you arrived at reception. There was no pillow on the bed, and the water was only scalding hot. Even after notifying the problem, the service was disappointing for a 3-star hotel. The wifi was terrible.

Very friendly staff. One of our two rooms wasn't fully cleaned and had some maintenance issues, so they moved us pretty quickly to another, even on a busy week (F1 race in June). It's a short walk to the metro station, and there are lots of great restaurants, shops, and clubs near the hotel. The rooms all seem to be somewhat unique, and are oddly shaped - clearly, some creativity went into laying out the building.

Room was a large size however on the last 2 nights of our stay the wifi stopped working. The front desk tried to help by logging us into their other server which was still a little spotty but works. We were give complimentary breakfast for 1 day for our trouble. The breakfast was ok because it was free of charge but if I were to pay for that I wouldn't be happy. I think the hotel can do better with their breakfast. Other than this all staff that we interacted with front of the house and back of the house(housekeeper) are super great. They anticipate your needs and are very helpful. We love this place. We are coming back for a 2nd stay in a few days. Glad we booked our return stay here instead of somewhere else.

Hotel zero is located in a perfect spot. You have access to the old port and all of the river activities plus Saint Catherine’s Street and the full spectacle quarter and the various arts centers. And Mount Royal is also in walking distance. There is a lobby bar and a nice Terrace on the fifth floor. The Neighborhood right around the hotel is a little shabby, bordering Chinatown, but it’s perfectly safe and easy.

Great property at a great price. I was worried about parking but everything was taken care of (off site underground parking for a fee). Room was very decent and comfortable. Area was very close to old montreal and some great restaurants.

I was good value for the money. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Good location, near Chinatown entrance. Walking distance to Old Montreal and subway station. Bus from the airport stops in front of it. Would stay there again. Gym was nice and quiet. I used it everyday.

Breakfast was fine and included hot and cold offerings. I would have appreciated more healthy options such as whole grain bread or plain yogurt. Boiled eggs were great. Had it not been included I would not have paid the $23 but would have gone to a nearby cafe.

Staff was plasant, room was clean, beds very comfy, love that the window opens. Rooms are poorly laid out - some small edits would make a big difference: I.e. some shelving near the narrow bathroom sink to put your toiletries, more towel racks or hooks, hooks near the door (the coat closet is nowhere near the door), boot tray for drippy winter boots. The breakfast is basic and not worth paying for! Other than that, it's ok value for the discounted price we scored.
