Not a good experience. I arrived at 1:00 pm. Ahead of normal check in and thus I did not expect that my room would be available. But the place was deserted/ Front door locked. Adjacent restaurant (which advertised lunch noon-2:00 pm on signs in nearby streets) deserted. I rang the doorbell;;;;no response. I called the phone...no answer. I contacted Hotels.com and their first call to the business....no answer. Only when a manager called did they answer and informed her that because check-in started at 2:30. no one would be on site....in spite of the information on hotels.com website (confirmed by hotels.com staff on my phone calls) that the office would be open from early morning to late evening. And though the listing on hotels.com mentions a buffet breakfast, there was no such thing. I was informed that I could walk to a nearby bar, identify myself as a guest, and would be provided with some food. I skipped this and bought my own breakfast at a grocery store. The rooms was clean but austere. No amenities. You get what you pay for and I paid for an economy room...so no complaints there. But there needs to be truth-in-advertising. If in the off-season there is no buffet breakfast, this should be deleted from the hotels.com listing. If the place is not open all day and a registered guest can't enter before 2:30 pm, this needs to be explicitly stated.

The location is good, but unfortunately my stay was not pleasant. There was a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom that spread throughout the room, and even leaving the window open didn’t help. There were also a lot of mosquitoes — you don’t really see them, but you end up with many bites. The bathroom is very small, and the toilet flush is inside the shower area, which makes it uncomfortable to use. The showerhead is right by the door, and the mattress is old and very hard, with flat pillows. There is no reception at the hotel, so it’s difficult to get assistance if you need anything. Finally, the room is quite hot, so if you visit in summer, it can be very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again.

The restaurant the room was attached to was good but it seemed like the owner as an afterthought decided to let out rooms. My room was small and shabby. The bathroom was just as tiny. The old satin machine-quilted bedcover had seen better days and its underside had rust stains. The mattress was old and somewhat lumpy. It wouldn’t take much to update the room - a new bed and new sheets and coverlet would work wonders. Staff did their best to be accommodating. The main advantage of this place is how centrally located it is.

Na realidade não é um hotel. É uma hospedaria, ou seja, são varios quartos/suítes confortáveis, mas sem recepção, sem café da manhã, sem nenhuma informação . Para quem quer um hotel, esse não é o cocal certo. .
