Great properly. Executive room very nice. Loved the executive lounge. Coffee machine available all day in lounge. 5-7pm includes bar and snacks really good. Breakfast in lounge was just pastries. Would be great to see some warm breakfast options as served in the lounge at the Hilton Gatwick.

Shuttle to and from terminal is not reliable and did show up to take us to the hotel. £25 to take a taxi. Front desk apologized and said the service is not reliable. Took a cab back in the morning for another £30. Unacceptable for an airport hotel that advertises and emails shuttle instructions

I recommend that this hotel provide its own shuttle from the airport because it's too hard to get there. We received a long confusing note from the hotel telling us how to get there but none were satisfactory. It's deceiving to tell potential customers that this Hilton hotel is at Terminal 5. It is not in the airport.

We ONLY booked this place for the spa. It is the main thing they advertise, with plenty of pictures of the pool. We planned our travel to have the whole afternoon there so we could relax between flights, but once we arrived we learned that the spa was closed. The pool was closed. It was all closed. They didn’t give a reason. They didn’t say when it would be open again. They made no suggestions for compensation. They didn’t pre-warn us so that we could have booked somewhere else. Having looked online it seems it has been closed for months, yet they are still advertising it as an available amenity. False advertising.

Bus from T5 to hotel is not a free shuttle which is a rip off really ! £6.80 !! Travel alot and never had to pay for a hotel shuttle ! Room ok … room service BLT was awful ! Soggy toast - bacon was rock hard ! Don’t think I would stay again if needing a hotel at the airport - there are others !

Property was very old and outdated. Many things around hotel were broken, including elevator interior panel and door key panels. Room was filthy, and walls were dirty and damaged. Strange creepy speaker in the bathroom. They had a wedding at the hotel and the fire alarms went off twice after midnight due to smoking at hotel. When a guest in the morning questioned that, the staff were very dismissive and rude about it.

Terrific hotel, plentiful bathroom products if needed and my bed was extremely comfortable and the room was white glove clean!! I was randomly selected as "the guest of the day" which provided me to an Executive Room, access to the Executive Lounge and a free breakfast! Such a great surprise!! The light snack of fruit, chocolate, cookies and smoothie after a late night arrival was greatly appreciated! Special mention must be made of the night receptionst, Geetanjali Sharma, who is a great asset to this hotel and the epitome of graciousness and professionalism!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here!

Was given a Accessibility room, told this was what Experian had booked. Bathroom was not clean water stains all.over the floor and power outlets did not work. Went down to.the business center tbat is suppsoe to be 24/7 and the lights were off. Worst Hilton experience to date.

My stay was very nice, and check in was smooth. The large bed was comfortable and I enjoyed having a quiet space to relax in between flights. The only draw back from this stay were a few amenities malfunctioning in my room. The tv, which should display dinning options and help me order room service wasn’t working. My bathtubs’ drain would lift up again after being let down to draw a bath resulting in the bath water not draining. Other than these random problems, the stay was very enjoyable.

It's only when I got into bed that I realised how sagging the mattress was. It offered no support whatsoever in the middle and was non existent on the edges. It was like sleeping directly on the wooden frame. After a few sleepless hours I got up, extremely early, in order to put an end to the torture. Also, when I wanted to watch the news on TV, I looked for the remote control everywhere. There was not one in the room. I helped myself of a tissue; there was only one in the dispenser. Do you really want to stay somewhere which pays so little attention to detail and your comfort? I don't. Hilton Heathrow Terminal 5, you won't see me again. There are plenty of other good hotels around in that area for me to use.

The property was fine and what you would expect from a Hilton, however the heat was not working in our room and we made several attempts to contact someone to report this and we were never able to get a hold of anyone. The only way it was addressed was the cleaning staff providing additional blankets. Also the seals in the shower were not working properly and the shower leaved all over the floor.

The A/C was out and only 1 of 3 elevators worked in this very large hotel. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, only 1 bath towel and no water cups. The light switches were impossible to sort out. On the other hand the food in the restaurant was quite good, both our dinner and the buffet breakfast.

We were told the room type we booked was not available for us upon arrival. Were told they would “upgrade us” but the room we were put in was clearly not an upgrade at all. The room features were very outdated, half the plugs in the room did not work, the tub wouldn’t drain and the AC didn’t work well.

Some of the lights in my room did not work properly and it took a long time to get through to the front desk to report it (the phone rang and rang) and once I did, maintenance never did come. So my room was overly dark. The bed was also quite hard.

Absolutely first class stay. Not only where we upgraded we received a complimentary drink and breakfast. Room was spacious comfortable and perfect for our stay. Reception staff are wonderful. Restaurant staff need retraining, there were many people complaining whilst we were there. The lady on the desk just said sit over there with a casual wave of her hand. We had to ask for a menu, then ask again for someone to take our order, there were only a couple of other diners there at that point… Then had to ask for the bill… Food was mediocre Terrible service from a Hilton!

We were told on arrival that we did not have a reservation because Expedia had cancelled our booking. I made the reservation through Hotels.com for 3 double rooms with 6 adults in January and had confirmation of the booking so I am not impressed by either Hilton or Hotels.com. If the reservation had been cancelled why was I not notified by either company? Why was I embarrassed for my guests by having to find alternative accommodation for 2 nights during Ascot week? We ourselves were there to attend Ascot. Hotels.com tried to find alternative accommodation for me but because your office is outside the UK you could not process the payment. Your customer care needs work. When on the telephone to your office I got cut off several times and could not get back directly to the operator dealing with me nor could they call me back because of policy. Very dissatisfied.

Hotel room was fine but we had a powercut 10 minutes before checkout and the corridors were pitch black along with the stairs. We spent a couple hours in the room trying to work out what to do as we had to carry a lot of luggage down which was heavy without any lifts. not one staff member offered help or gave us an update. we had to search the hotel in the dark using our phone torches to try and find stairs. The first stairs we found we got to the bottom to find a locked door and fire exit so we had to go back up and search the rest of the hotel until we found stairs leading to the reception. there was no sign to stairs and we just wandered around until we found it. Once getting to the reception not one person asked how we were or offered any help. When complaining through expedia to get compensation for this they lied to them and said the power cut was at 1pm after checkout when it was before 12pm and offered us nothing. Absolutely horrible experience from such a high regarded and prestigious hotel brand.

I was leaving the hotel before breakfast and the receptionist said they’d make me up a takeaway breakfast. When I went to checkout they had no knowledge of what was agreed and said it’s basically tough. A rude woman called Wilma said breakfast doesn’t start till 6 or 6:30 so they don’t have to provide anything. I’ll never stay again.

While I appreciated the cleanliness, the lack of staff at the front desk was one of the many complaints I have. 1-2 staff at the desk with an almost full hotel. Staff were very rude and cold. Found a hair in my food TWICE once at breakfast and once at dinner. Extremely inconvenient the way they don't have a vending machine for simple drinks such as soda cans. I had to pay for water which is a joke, £10 per bottle may I add. Really really horrible experience honestly. Honestly I would appreciate compensation thats how bad of an experience I had.

It is frustrating that I received this because we had a very early international flight, and thought we would be staying at a hotel that was really at the airport....The name Hilton Heathrow Terminal 5. It is more than a mile away. It was a pain in the neck getting to our actual terminal in the morning. The hotel is lovely, staff nice, all that but the location is obscure and inconvenient.

A useful close overnight place before an early flight at Terminal 5. One important fact. Don’t pay for your parking in the car park but pay at reception when you check in, it’s half the price. Very helpful reception. Good early opening Starbucks in the lobby. Basic but handy. Room clean & bed ok. And incredible soundproofed windows. No plane noise at all!!

Property is nice, BUT, getting to and from property is expensive. Taxi 30 GBP each way, public transport (703)1.50 GBP each way 1km walk. Terminal bus 12gpb each way. For the casual traveller don’t do it. Stay at terminal 2 hotels.

Location being over a mile away from Heathrow Termial 5 without proper transportation is misleading calling Hilton Heathrow Terminal 5. We thought it was a walk from the terminal simliar to the Sofitel hotel. Also the showers are lousy and leak all over the bathroom with malfunctioning rubber water repellent between the shower doors. The hotel is barely a 3 star if not lower. Dinner was one of the worst on timing and food quality

It was horrible. Our daughter suffers with a milk allergy, we asked the restaurant to provide an allergen menu to cater for her which they did not have. They said they can just ask the chef which was not good enough, and totally illegal. If your children or yourself have an allergy, don’t eat or stay, will never be staying again.

Nice staff at reception and booked so we could use the hydro pool after an 11 hour overnight flight. After staying in a doubletree in the US in an extremely comfy bed we were disappointed in how rock hard the mattress was at this Hilton, we had a better sleep and were comfier at the Premier Inn at less than half the cost. We had to eat at the hotel at dinner time, food was nice but very expensive but I can understand that at an airport hotel, we were disappointed that a service charge had been added to our bill before we had even eaten and been served and after going up to the bar to order, therefore not even being serviced yet. Rooms are nice and spacious and modern but the walls are paper thin, not great for people getting up and about at all hours to catch their flight. We used rewards to pay for this trip so we are not out of pocket but I would have been disappointed if I had paid full price.

Your restaurant maid everyone on Tuesday night wait 45 minutes from order to course delivery....there just were not enough staff in the kitchen and the price was outrageous for what was, when it eventually came, very indifferent cooking. Sadly I think you alrewdy know that and consider guests at this Hotel as suckers to be fleeced.

The rooms are pretty basic, the beds are horrible, one movement from one person on the bed disrupts the other, the duvet is the noisiest ever. Neither of these lead to a good nights sleep, which is the entire point of a hotel. Only one of the bars was open and only the hotel restaurant and not the award winning, celebrity chef's Indian restaurant. Additionally, I parked here for 6 nights whilst on holiday and returned to find rats had got into my car and started to eat the dashboard and rear seat belt buckle!!
