Edgewater Motor Lodge

The best little motel we have ever stayed at. The towels especially top class as were the sheets.Maybe the only fault was the patio could have had a sweep

Pretty run down. But in a good location short walk to shops and walk up bluff hill. The door locks are flimsy with a push button and no chain to put across. As a woman travelling on my own I did not feel safe staying here. Internet didn’t work in my room. Couldn’t get the smart tv to work. The remote was falling apart. Poor insulation I could hear every footstep and door opening from the room above me. The room was very spacious and clean. The pool is filthy, no one used it during my 2 day stay. The staff were nice but mostly unavailable.

Room was OK but quite dark inside, although staff very helpful. Area outside v noisy (Marine Parade) and windows not well insulated. Quite a bit of noise from other guests too...Location very convenient for town. Area immediately around the motel was a little rundown although much better either side. Good views of the sea from the room.
