Tom Quick Inn

Quaint property in a nice area. Many shops and places to eat in walking distance out the front door. The staff was short so check-in was at a sister property next door and the on-site bar was not opened. Overall, the room was nice and clean, although a tad small. Worth the stay and to check out the area.

I am 88 years old, so the stairs in the TQ are always a challenge. That said, Sue and the rest of the staff couldn't be more accommodating, carrying my bags up stairs, etc. It would be nice, of course, if the TQ had some kind of elevator....

Everything is as expected, but you do have to walk up a flight of stairs with your luggage. Check-in and breakfast was a few doors down at the Fauchere Inn.

It was great! Note however that you have to check in and have breakfast at Hotel Fauchere.

Old hotel with history in a very nice small town. You must check in at Hotel Fauchere two buildings down the street. Staff friendly and helpful. Must walk up to second floor. Street side is a little noisy with traffic. Everything clean, fresh. One complaint...the pillows are way too firm. But thats why i alwsys bring my own.

Came up with the family for an impromptu snow day. Five minute drive from beautiful trails and right in the heart of the cute downtown for snowy walks. The hotel is a beautiful old place with modern touches; we especially loved the window seats, the big rain shower, and the luxurious bedding. The included breakfast at the sister inn next door is fantastic. Do note that you have to check in at the hotel Fauchere, but it’s straightforward once you’re aware of it.

We had a nice stay at the Tom Quick and enjoyed appetizers and cocktails in the bar. The Splendora paintings throughout were a nice touch.

Great check in experience with a wonderful and informative young man. Unfortunately check in was a block away from the Tom Quick Hotel. Coffee and breakfast was also a block away. Also, the website didn't say our room was on the third floor and we had to walk up with no elevator. We're in our 70's and carrying our bags up the stairs was a bit of a challenge.

We loved our room, breakfast and drinks at the Hotel Fauchere but we should have been notified that check in was at the Hotel Fauchere.

we came in late and the person working the night desk, I think her name is Lisa, was so very good to me when I was exhausted and needed help opening a window. This was a charming place and the full breakfast at the lovely inn just a couple doors down was very welcome.

On the upside, the staff was amazing! Very helpful, kind and courteous. Location was good, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Free breakfast was very good and staff was very attentive. The overall property was very neat and clean. However, it is on a road where you here traffic driving by. So if you're looking for quiet, this may not be the spot for you. The downside, I was very disappointed with our room. I feel it was not worth the money we paid for it. It was extremely small and outdated. The entrance door barely cleared the bed when you opened it. There was paint peeling on the wall. The outside of the window across from the bed was so covered in dirt, you could hardly see out of it. The bathroom had a pedestal sink so there was no vanity or shelf to put your toiletries. We had to use the window ledge and a small settee that was placed in front of it to hold all our personal items. I was also not impressed with the food at their restaurant. I ordered spaghetti with a giant meatball. The meatball was good, but the spaghetti was just awful. Don't know if it was overcooked/undercooked but it was like glue in my mouth. I couldn't even eat it. Would I stay here again... really not sure. The excellent staff makes me think maybe I would try it again. Only this time in a different room and not eat at their restaurant.

Very nice place, has been updated but definitely an older building. It’s like staying in a giant house, with real keys for the doors. The location and the restaurant/bar downstairs is great. The only issue we had was with the housekeeping, that didn’t lock our door in our first day and to our surprise, came in before check-out to start cleaning as we were still moving out of the room. The front desk was very apologetic, but definitely off putting.

Always check about elevators! None here--we are Seniors & had to carry our bags to second floor. Also had to check-in at Hotel next door. No security----chain lock falling off door frame. 'Hair' in shower. No heat in bathroom.

The room was amazing but i did notice spider webs at 2 corners of the room. But other than that the room was clean and the room decore i loved it.

Lovely little town, great location in the little town center. Coffee shop next door and a great breakfast in a beautiful sunroom of the hotel. Our room itself was fine, nothing special. Clean but dated and drab.

Clean well appointed room. A little on small side but fine. All staff were exceptionally nice. Dinner and breakfast buffet was very good.

Room was ok. TV didnt work.

Staff was great and food was excellent. Nice place to stay. Would have been 5 star except for room door lock not functioning properly and bathroom door that was difficult to close.

Our first room was nicer in appearance but was looking out on a tar papered roof with a large air conditioner unit right outside the widow. We asked if we could have a room with a better view. We got one on the front of the hotel behind the fire escape. The room was a little tired and in need of updating. The bathroom was very small and old looking. The location is very good and the woman who checked us in, at a nearby hotel, was quite nice. But I would not stay here again. For $300 + I think we could have done better. We decided to eat at The Tom Quick restaurant. It was one of the slowest restaurants at which we have ever eaten. The food was ok, not great, and it took close to two hours to get our entrees. Again, the wait staff and manager were very friendly but there wasn’t much they could do to remedy the situation. Again, we will not be going back. The breakfast, which was served at the nearby hotel, was good. Not wonderful but pretty good and in a very pretty setting. The coffee could have been stronger and my husband said the bacon was good.

We had a lovely stay at the Tom Quick Inn. Our first quenn room was so small we could barely mover around the room. But Sue and Deanna helped us moved rooms to a larger room. The homemade breakfast is delicious! I highly recommend this hotel while staying in Milford.

If you like challenging, error ridden, and unnecessarily difficult check in then stay at the Tom Quick Inn. At check-in our room rate was wrong. We asked Sue if that rate included our pet fees. She said No it did not. She said we would have to contact Expedia. After contacting Expedia we wen back to Sue, who appeared bothered to deal with this, looked at our reservation with her supervisor and discovered that it was the pet fees that were already added in that increased our room rate. So, after over an hour of time spent sorting out the rate info. we left only to realize that most of the shops in beautiful Milford were closing. We felt frustrated and hugely disappointed. The staff did not value our time and changed the tone of our visit. The highlight of our trip was dinner at the Dimmick Inn. For 391.00 our stay at the Tom Quick Inn left us with the feeling of the cautionary tale BUYER BEWARE!!

It was disappointing that they charged $35 for an early check-in (2pm instead of 3pm)

The wires hanging on the walls in the room were ugly. Checking in at a different hotel is ridiculous and not very clear. I was walking around the streets with my clothes trying to figure out where I was supposed to go.

3day trip to Milford, PA was made so easy with the convenient location of Tom Quick Inn! Everything we needed to do was within walking distance.

My husband needed a quick, over-night getaway. We chose Midford. It was less than two hours away and they were having a music festival. The room clean and beautiful. They accommodated us with an early check-in. The in-house dining was fantastic. The staff was exceptional. We're coming back!

Our room was in the Tom Quick Inn, which is affiliated or owned by the Fauchere hotel next door. Our room was good, a little funky. We had dinner on the porch of the Fauchere, which was wonderful. The included breakfast at the Fauchere was wonderful too and was in their elegant breakfast room. It was raining heavily in the morning so we didn't walk around Milford. We will have to come back
