Cook's Motel- Panama City Beach

Parking in the far left corner was difficult, I had my work van. Its a bit bigger.. but not too big..

Towels for bathing were dirty. Pillow cases looked like they had been used to clean things up. Room smelled like stale cigarettes. There were a bunch of people outside my room blasting foreign music all hours of the night. And I came out to a heavyset guy asleep, drunk leaning on my door with his shoes kicked off and I had to use Google translate to tell him to leave. He waddled about 30 meters away from my room, leaned on a car, fell, and proceeded to fall asleep again. The staff was nice though, and I got to park right outside my room.

Nasty and run down. People at the counter were rude, dirty and smelled. Homeless people in the area, No phone, no coffee machine. Will never stay at any price again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! The room was dirty (beds were dirty and used facecloth in the bathroom). The room smelt so strong of air freshner we could taste it! My family is sensitive to smells and we could not stay in the room because of the overall condtion/smell. When we went to discuss with owner she acted inconvienced by servicing us because she was sleeping and we woke her up. We were told no other rooms were available so i asked if we could have a partial refund because we couldnt stay in the room becauee of its state, she refused. We left and stayed at the motel across the road which was actually clean and has amazing customer service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Also, the pool is not clean.

We are local, my husband goes offshore for his birthday every year. We needed a clean bed and pool. So we didn’t have to drive so far, to take him to the dock, or after 12 hours on the water. This is everything we needed. The quietest place we have stayed in years. Only noise was traffic. So if you just lookin for a clean bed and a place to sleep over. I would definitely recommend.

The staff was nice and i liked being able to park right in front of the door.

roaches, dirty room

was clean. had a lady knock on the door and ask if i needed anything without telling me who she was. but overall a good stay.

Hotel is absolutely disgusting! There were pubic hairs in our tub on our sheets and on the toilet seat! There were still clothes in the beds and open beers in the refrigerator! Comforters are burned up, the chairs were burned as well ! Bad smell and lots of bugs. Displaced locals live there, there is a lot of drug activity and just sketchy behaviors. I don’t recommend for vacation , leave it up the locals . The next day while paying for our room, the owner lady pounded on my door and insisted my daughter pack up and leave and blamed us for having a dog we didn’t have ? However our neighbors had cats and a pit bull? Then when I proved there was no dog she still kicked us out saying they were all booked up??? She was never friendly to us, but that behavior was just weird and unprofessional! Not worth any price they pay and they lack professionalism to say the least. Super weird and gross experience.

It's not worth $75.00 . The rooms smell old. The air conditioner was not really cold. Old nasty furniture. Old shower.

The bedding had holes, the mattress had a spring on the bed that was pressing against my back and sides. We had teenage/young adults banging on the door next to us acting like police around 1:30 am running up and down all the rooms being loud and rude. We could not even connect to the wifi.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Rooms were horrendous! Beyond filthy! Rooms were so run down and smelled of mildew and smoke! Towels looked like they came from a mechanic shop! You will regret staying here!!!

The floors haven’t been swept got out of shower & you have dirt sand hair on bottom of your feet the towels and sheets had stains on them & all the outlets was across the room had to go to Walmart to buy extensions cord & adapter just so I could use my c-pap machine

Curtains need replacement but overall its worth the price to stay there. Basic room but will do for a place to stay. Overall good value

Nothing fancy but the neighbors are nice and front office was easy to work with for check in. Don't expect anything extra here but if you just need a place to stay for the night and don't plan on being there much it's perfect. Internet is lacking some but fine for phone use just not streaming on Xbox. Great channels though if you enjoy tv before bed.

It was worn down

It has been remodeled since the last visit. The bed was comfortable and no noise or loud people after hours!

It was a great stay it just got really warm when we were sleeping even though the air worked but overall it was a pleasant stay

The room was nice kinda reminded me of an apartment. The people in office was very nice, also people staying at the motel,the only problem i had was i could not sleep,the air conditioner made a loud rattling noise all night, i wanted to turn it off but it was HOT for that!the price was reasonable and all i can say is i got what i paid for,the only good thing is we only stayed here the night before we left...also i have to say it's in a great area walking distance to every thing you wanna go see ..rather than that just please fix your air conditioning in the rooms because them are no good

The rooms were perfect. We brought a fan for Xtra comfort bc it was HOTT. We were there for work.

The purpose of making a reservation is to ensure you have a place to stay after traveling. When we arrived there was a sign no vacancy. Rang the bell as I thought I was surely part of the place being full. Nope they gave someone my room. I arrived around 6pm. A phone call would have been nice.

We arrived early and the attendant was nice enough to let us check in and get the room key and he called us when the room was reasy

I booked a roon when i arrived was told no vacancies and had to find other accommodations

I called the property to inform them I would be arriving at 6pm. When I arrived, they had given my room away. I was denied entry, and had to find a room elsewhere.

Good service best value in regards to price and quality. Solid owner who cares about the place and his morality.

New sheets, new towels and great and friendly management. The location is central to some good things.
