Elegí este hotel porque viajé específicamente para asistir a un espectáculo a la noche y la idea era cenar en el hotel. Había leído en las especificaciones "Acerca de esta propiedad" dos puntos distintos: 1 - Desayuno continental incluido y 2 - Restaurante. Luego en "Ver toda la información de esta propiedad" otros dos puntos: Desayuno Desayuno continental incluido Se sirve todos los días de 08:00 a 11:00 etc. Luego: Comida y bebida Bar-cafetería Un bar o lounge Hice el check in alrededor de las 16hs. La idea era comer un sandwich o algo liviano en el bar y salir a recorrer la ciudad, pero me informaron que en el bar sólo hay barras de cereal y snacks (no era algo del momento sino que es la única comida que ofrecen). The hotel was wonderful. The staff was helpful and professional. The breakfast area over looking the pull and garden was a creative way to begin the day and it was a great place to sit at the end of the day to wind down. I would recommend this hotel highly!

This is not a 5 star hotel. The photos are misleading, this property is in urgent need of a refresh. Tired decor, broken fixtures and stained, lumpy bedding. The location is very good and the pool area could be nice but it’s currently very overgrown with freezing cold water.

The staff were excellent. The bathroom was a great size and the room was decent. The floors were incredibly creaky. The last two nights there were issues with no electricity/heat and no hot water. The breakfast offerings were not very substantial. While the neighborhood is a little sketchy, it is very walkable to points of interest. I cannot stress how friendly the staff were during our stay, which made up for some of the shortcomings.

The place super elegant but it lacks the personal attention from the owner/ management. I was there fir only 2 days, but no one was able to fix my Maine door as i had to get someone from the reception to open the door for me EVERY time. Then the whole hotel runs out of hot waters for my entire stay.. so no shower. The staff should be able to take care of those situations, but was able to do anything.

Not a boutique hotel. Horrible furniture, lobby area, and decorations, cluttered. Building has a niece architecture features. The room did not feel clean: the window stool and curtains full of dust, the filty area rug oldy, the edges of the glass shower area filty with mold, that area was never deep cleaned; location not in a save area. Couldnt cancel the reservation. Big dissapointment.

Excellent location and bed and linens clean and soft. Nice touches with chocolate, wine and water upon arrival. The only downside was the bathroom shower was very mouldy, and the building inside needs a deep cleaning. Other thank that it was great.

Our suite room was spacious, but the bed was very uncomfortable to our liking (too soft and lumpy) and the linens and bathroom were not exceptionally clean. The breakfast was good! The location was nice, easy to walk to restaurants and attractions.

Non-working A/C in our room. Promised to fix it and didn’t and they finally moved us to another room. We had a leaky toilet. A strong rainstorm came one evening and there must have been an opening in the roof because our ceiling became wet and rainwater entered our room at floor level and pooled up on the floor. During our seven day stay our room was never vacuumed. Also, some housekeeping touchup work is necessary. An example was a significant buildup of dust on the shelf above the headboard. On the positive side, the hotel is in a convenient location, and all of the staff were quite friendly, however, not proactive enough to remedy the issues we faced.

First off, customer service was the best. Ricardo, Juan Pablo and the rest of the staff were amazing and very accomodating. Everyone was nice and helpful. The hotel is clean and breakfast was great too. Location was perfect as it was walking distance to a bunch of restaurants, subway, and some sights like san cristobal hill. Will definitely come back here if we are ever in Santiago Chile.

Great service with friendly staff. Central location in the old part of the city with some good restaurants and cafes in nearby streets. My only criticism was the floors were really creaky and the room was cool even with the split aircon turned to heat. The breakfast room was also cool and dark in the mornings.

This was our 3rd visit to Santiago (2018, January 2024 and in February following a trip to Antarctica). This was our favourite hotel from a location perspective, very close to Lastarria. The hotel itself was an oasis in Santiago and we enjoyed sitting by the small pool/garden. Rooms were very conformable and we would happily stay here again if we returned to Santiago. Some feedback to the hotel, firstly thanks for a wonderful stay. We would have expected tea/coffee facilities in the room or complimentary tea/coffee in the bar area. The honesty bar was a little confusing, we ended up having to purchase a bottle of red wine when we only wanted a glass. Electrical sockets near the bedside would be useful...

The hotel was well situated. Close to restaurants and shopping. All within walking distance. Rooms were very quaint and spacious however the floorboards, as beautiful as they were, did creak good breakfast and a beautiful outdoor patio with pool. Staff was amazing. Very helpful and personable, arranging tours and taxis for us from airport and to seaport.

Great little boutique hotel conveniently located near parks, cafes, restaurants, all walking distance. Reached out to the hotel day before arrival and they arranged a ride from the airport. (If you can, give them more time!). Checking was smoothly, personnel very helpful. Got a spacious upgraded room.

Very frustrated with management. Our flight on Avianca was cancelled and they put us on an earlier flight which meant we didn’t need the hotel room the last night. I had hotels.com notify the hotel over a week before we’re were due there. They tried reaching the hotel. Never received a response. So when we arrived for our 4 night (turned 3 night stay) I asked the manager. He said he’d get back to me. We asked repeatedly and kept getting told they were “checking”. Very frustrated with management. Our flight on Avianca was cancelled and they put us on an earlier flight which meant we didn’t need the hotel room the last night. I had hotels.com notify the hotel over a week before we’re were due there. They tried reaching the hotel. Never received a response. So when we arrived for our 4 night (turned 3 night stay) I asked the manager. He said he’d get back to me. We asked repeatedly and kept getting told they were “checking”. We had the loveliest stay at Casa Bueras! The room was beautiful & comfortable. The staff was so kind, helpful, and took very good care of us—the coffee when we arrived from the airport & making sure we had everything we needed. Perfect area close to everything, which made it easy to explore. Hope to come back & stay! Lovely!

Non-working A/C in our room. Promised to fix it and didn’t and they finally moved us to another room. We had a leaky toilet. A strong rainstorm came one evening and there must have been an opening in the roof because our ceiling became wet and rainwater entered our room at floor level and pooled up on the floor. During our seven day stay our room was never vacuumed. Also, some housekeeping touchup work is necessary. An example was a significant buildup of dust on the shelf above the headboard. On the positive side, the hotel is in a convenient location, and all of the staff were quite friendly, however, not proactive enough to remedy the issues we faced.

First off, customer service was the best. Ricardo, Juan Pablo and the rest of the staff were amazing and very accomodating. Everyone was nice and helpful. The hotel is clean and breakfast was great too. Location was perfect as it was walking distance to a bunch of restaurants, subway, and some sights like san cristobal hill. Will definitely come back here if we are ever in Santiago Chile.

Great little boutique hotel conveniently located near parks, cafes, restaurants, all walking distance. Reached out to the hotel day before arrival and they arranged a ride from the airport. Not a boutique hotel. Horrible furniture, lobby area, and decorations, cluttered. Building has a niece architecture features. The room did not feel clean: the window stool and curtains full of dust, the filty area rug oldy, the edges of the glass shower area filty with mold, that area was never deep cleaned; location not in a save area. Couldnt cancel the reservation. Big dissapointment.

The staff were excellent. The bathroom was a great size and the room was decent. The floors were incredibly creaky. The last two nights there were issues with no electricity/heat and no hot water. The breakfast offerings were not very substantial. While the neighborhood is a little sketchy, it is very walkable to points of interest. I cannot stress how friendly the staff were during our stay, which made up for some of the shortcomings.

The large sliding window in the bathroom did not lock and could be opened from outside. Felt that corners were being cut - bath towels not that large, individual packs of tissues, fridge shelves broken, very poor access to sockets; old (small) tv. Front desk were excellent. Staff at breakfast - average. They did not keep an eye on what needed restocking; and one person was not enough to make drinks and cook eggs. After 5 nights, the breakfast became very repetitive and limited. Only a set number of croissants put out - and often ran out quickly.

Staff were excellent, as was location. Room fully satisfactory. Unfortunately, the breakfast cook/server didn’t show up for work, and the hotel didn’t have back up so no breakfast. Most likely a one-off issue, but recommend the hotel have backup plans.

This was our 3rd visit to Santiago (2018, January 2024 and in February following a trip to Antarctica). This was our favourite hotel from a location perspective, very close to Lastarria. The hotel itself was an oasis in Santiago and we enjoyed sitting by the small pool/garden. Rooms were very conformable and we would happily stay here again if we returned to Santiago. Some feedback to the hotel, firstly thanks for a wonderful stay. We would have expected tea/coffee facilities in the room or complimentary tea/coffee in the bar area. The honesty bar was a little confusing, we ended up having to purchase a bottle of red wine when we only wanted a glass. Electrical sockets near the bedside would be useful...

Great location and hotel, the breakfast was fantastic each morning and the back patio area was calming and filled with plants. I would definitely recommend this hotel, the held out bags for us on our last day before the flight and let us use their courtyard and bathroom throughout the day.
