Aquarius Inn

The inn was good for our purposes (visiting Capitol Reef) the pool and hot tub were nice unexpected amenities. It was nice having the laundry facility so close. Not slot of diving out options, but that's not Aquarius's fault The room itself was a little dated, but had everything we needed for our purposes,

AC was load, outside uncovered stairs to second floor inconvenient. Pool was nice.

The room was excellent. Everything was recently remodeled and clean and it had everything. Great amenities and plenty of plugs for powering devices. What I hated and would cause me to never stay there again were the offensive extremely bright lights on the outside of the pool pointing uselessly to the outside so that you could not see a single star in this allegedly dark sky area. The lights were left on 24 hours and were not necessary at all and were way too bright. There were other offensive lights also left on all night for no reason. For shame.

Rough parking lot

chose this place for the pool that closed at 9 and did not reopen until 3 pm next day. so we did not get to enjoy anything with our grandkids

Large clean rooms at an affordable price.

This is a clean well run motel. Loved the pool and hot tub. The rooms are very spacious and clean.

Nice spacious, clean room. I will definitely seek this place out if I come through this town again. My thanks to the people that maintain this property really well.

The room was very clean and seemed like a very good value for the price. The person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

While the room was big and had A/C, cleanliness was the major issue which is why I can’t recommend this place. We booked a double Queen bed room and one of the beds had a bright yellow stained bed sheet which meant that we couldn’t use that bed. Cleanliness is a basic need from any hotel - unfortunately I can’t recommend the Aquarius Inn because it failed in this respect.

The room was very clean, and the staff were great. The hotel is a little dated, but very well kept. Would definitely stay here again.

Very old, run down facility. Towels with holes. Lack of proper maintenance, horrible bathroom

The toilet ran, the bathroom was not clean. Room heater fan was very loud. We were very disappointed with this facility.

The rooms vary wildly. I was expecting something similar to the main photo on expedia, but the room we got was very worn down. Mildew and mold in the bathroom, and the faucet was falling apart. Also incredibly dark.

Staying in Bicknell was almost half the price of staying in Torrey. This motel was clean, the staff friendly, and it had a hot tub and an indoor pool. We would definitely stay here again.

The suite is very nice. I like the ability to regulate the air conditioning in the bedroom. There is not enough closet space or shelving in the bathroom. There are no dressers to put clothes in.

The room smelled terrible. Very bad internet, sometime it is no internet at all.

A bit dated, but room was very spacious, king bed was nice and firm, shower was good.

When I arrived in our room, I tried to log into the WiFi, but there was no access. I went to the front desk and the representative explained that I was in one of the four corner rooms that WiFi did not reach. There was nothing she could do. There is Wi-Fi in some places, but our room is dead zone. This is very disappointing and inconvenient.

This was a strange little motel. Not unpleasant, but quirky. The check-in service was super friendly. The room was extremely large (about 400 sf), but didn't have much furniture. The two queen beds were so far apart that it was very hard to reach the single night table between them.

One of the worst nights of sleep I’ve had in a hotel. The beds were super outdated and not comfortable. The AC unit couldn’t decide if it wants to be in or not so there was a constant fluctuation in temperature, to add the AC unit was incredibly loud. I wouldn’t want to stay here again.

Really big but dark room. Towels looked like they were about 10 yrs old and extremely worn and thin.

The rooms are enormous. Seriously, I could fit all of my bookshelves in there and possibly my grand piano. It's really close to Capitol Reef and there are a couple of restaurants in the area, which is impressive for a rural town.

From the very beginning of our check in the invoice and my room key was taped to the door with my name on it. We checked in around 4:00pm. The room was clean but the towels are very thin and old. Out toilet backed up and we were asked what we put in the toilet? Poop! They gave us a plunger to unplug the toilet. We had not succcess and then they gave us a second plunger. By 9:00pm we still had a problem with the toilet and I called to have someone come fix it or change our room. No response. I called again at 10:30pm again no response. The next morning at 9:00 my husband went to the office and no one was there. He called again for the phone in the lobby area and a cellphone number that was listed. No response. By 9:20 I was fed up and knocked on the door of a residence at the back of the office. I was greeted by a young man and I asked to with an adult A woman can to the door for being woken up. She did not tRT to retro any way concerns or frustration. Just to instruct me to call the number on the office doors again. In the mean time my husband used the toilet in the pool area that had no paper and found another plunger. He was able to clear the toilet finally. I got towels to shower so we could begin our day in Capital City. Not once was there an apology for the poor customer service but she made it as if we caused the problems. After we got dressed we checked out a day early fins better accommodations to stay at.

The rooms are much older than they look in the photos, and the towels are super old. Our request for an extra hour for checkout was declined. We left 12 minutes after checkout time but even before then the owner was INSIDE our room to tell us that we were trespassing and threatened to call the cops!!!! Eventhough we were clearly packed and just had to get our bags in the car. The hotel was almost empty with only 3 vehicles in the parking lot. I guess i found out the hard way why.

Rooms were huge and super clean. Front Desk was amazing and flexible. With flight delays we didn't arrive until 12:30 AM. Close to Capitol Reef. Great Stay!

The owner shrieked at me over a misunderstanding regarding RV parking. This was completely out of line. I’ll never stay there again. Other than that, the place was ok

My stay at Aquarius Inn was excellent! The couple who owns and runs the property are super friendly and helpful. They were a pleasure talking to. For the Inn itself, it was very clean and the rooms are HUGE! I would definitely recommend staying here. There's also an excellent American-Filipino restaurant walking distance from the Inn that I would highly recommend as well. Very tasty!

Their ad said there was a year round pool and hot tub - it looked nice, but it was closed. Our room was labeled non smoking, but smelled of stale cigarette smoke. We were given a second story room and there was an elevator - but it was locked. We never saw anyone who worked there - the office was locked and our check-in and check-out information was in an envelope taped to the door. Surprisingly, the price wasn't cheap - just the hotel.

Clean, but aged. Friendly check-in lady. Wifi didn’t work, no solution offered. Very noisy AC/Heating. Clean bathroom with warm water. When I checked-out, I was in the parking lot sending emails before heading out. Was told by staff I was stealing wifi and blocking customers (I was the only car in that parking lot). Wouldn’t recommend, won’t return. You can get better for the price they charge

Poorly manage motel. Check in staff stole my money by refusing to allow me to have a room. I got a 2 bedroom for 4 people. When I got there they said it was $10 extra for every person staying there. They charge feeds for everything and when we told them we where going somewhere else. The manager (I think) told the worker “HURRY charge them for the room@ they charge my card and didn’t even gave me a key. They stole my money.

The area around this motel had virtually no basic services. By not even 9 p.m., there was nowhere left to buy food—every shop was already closed. The only pizza place the owner told us should still be open had also closed by the time we arrived, just minutes after checking in. The next morning, the only option for something to eat was a gas station; otherwise, we would have had to drive all the way to Torrey. Despite charging the highest rate of our entire trip, this motel offered almost no convenience. We couldn’t even meet the most basic need of having a meal.

Arrived on a sunday. Restaurants closed.

Web site said casual resturant but it was closed and for sale, no other place to eat in Bucknell, disappointing, there really area many places to eat in the area, found one in Torrey

It appears this hotel maybe going out of business soon. The restaurant was shuttered. Granted, we were out of “season” but other properties seemed to be doing better.

Convenient for Capitol Reef but overpriced for a dated room in a dated motel. No breakfast.

This hotel was very much a motel in my view. The room was very tired and in need of modernisation. The bed was worn out and very uncomfortable. On a Sunday evening there were no dining options in town. An 8 mile drive was required to get anything. I would not return.

The motel is in need of an update. Overpriced. No breakfast. Limited restaurants nearby. I would not stay here again or recommend it.
