The property is always real quiet when we stay out there we don't hear a bunch of traffic or loud noises only problem was the ice machine was not working otherwise than that there was no problems

This was my second stay at the Newport News Inn and I had another good experience. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, takes a while sometimes at the front dest but service was good. Nothing fancy but great for the price and location near to the Hampton Coliseum. Will stay here again the next time I visit.

This no frills motel was clean & extremely affordable. They didn't offer any of the luxe extras but it was very clean & the property well kept. It was everything we needed & enjoyed it immensely. Cheap rates & clean is all we needed. We definitely recommend staying here. The manager was really nice & friendly

The motel is what it is. It is fairly clean, although my sink had a fair amount of hair left in it. I guess in todays world you pay for what you get. It is convenient for me and a price that I can afford. The front desk personal act like they are doing you a favor to take the time to check you in, through a window. Seems there is a fairly nice lobby, but that would probably cause more work, and the feeling I get is this motel stays away from over to much work or customer service.

The checkin is very strange. Borders on creepy. Was there at 3 pm, but lobby wasn’t open so had to go to NIGHT window and ring bell. Very unfriendly non- professional attitude expressed by person checking me in. Room was ok, but a used wash cloth fell of shower curtain onto my shoulder has I closed the shower curtain. Towels aren’t much better than a thick paper towel. It was ok for a one night business trip. For some reason people would drive thru parking lot with really loud music. At least the area does seem safe.

My room was clean and it’s close by to a lot of attractions. I didn’t like that they tried to give me a smoking room when I booked nonsmoking, but mistakes happen and they were quick to fix it without issue.

It was fine for a quick stay. Had to ask to have the maid refresh the room. But it was quiet, clean, water was hot, bed was fine. For a cheap stay I got what I paid for—no complaints

I have stayed here several times. Seems to be a safe location. Some late night activities in parking lot, but not to much. Rooms always seem clean and pretty basic. This trip remote for tv was not functional. Dont expect any type quality towels, so thin you can see through them. I stay here for the price and location.

I have stayed in this Motel multiple times. It is decent for what I need. A place to sleep for a night. Room was clean, tv worked, heat and ac worked. This time some car pulled in at 4 am with music blasting, but shut down after about 15 minutes. Area seems safe, but not recommended by me for a family.

I have stayed here several times. The rooms are ok, the decor is a little dated for the present time. The front desk is never open, you ring a bell and wait for the guy. I wouldnt stay here with a family or companion. It is ok for me, when Im by myself fir work. The price is decent and the hotel is decent, but you get what you pay for, and this place is for folks trying to save a few bucks over the higher priced hotels. The area isnt bad, and never felt unsafe.
