Good location. Gwendalyn at the front desk is amazing and the most friendly front desk person I've met. However, the gentleman at night is rude and grumpy. I took a hot shower late at night (5 minutes maybe) and the steam made the building smoke alarm go off. This alarm woke up the entire building, including my wife, and it was very alarming. The rude gentleman at night came up pounding on my door screaming, "What did you do?!" I told him I just showered and he yelled and berated me for not having the window and door open while showering. The a/c was on and I thought this would not be an issue. He told me that if there is steam, that the living room window and bathroom window must be open. There is neither no sign indicating as such, nor a written reminder to have the windows open while showering. The way he handled the situation is very unprofessional and because of that, I will never return here nor will I ever recommend this hotel to anyone else.

The staff at the hotel was exceptional. The location can not be beat. Everything is at foot and if not, you can see the metro station out the window.

The hotel is truly a charming boutique experience with exceptional staff who are incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Our first night Leon drew a beautiful photo for my daughter who was celebrating her 20th birthday! I had requested in advance that champagne and flowers be in the room & though it wasn’t there on her birthday, the next day Philippe made magic happen and added macaroons! He was so helpful the entire time we were there offering recommendations on shopping and looked up a Pho spot for us. About the hotel: there is a walk up to get to the elevator that could be challenging if you have a lot of luggage. We had two carry-on roller suitcases and could barely fit in the elevator together. It’s super tight and slow but that was part of the charm. We stayed on the 6th floor in a room that had a small table as soon as you walked in and an clawfoot tub opposite two small sinks in the middle of the room. Thankfully the toilet was in a closed room. There is a tiny refrigerator and a few shelves and rack to hang things. The queen size bed was comfortable. The view from the balcony’s were priceless day and night. You have to leave your room key at the front desk every time you head out. The staff is there 24 hrs. It’s perfectly located and central to the best shopping and cafes that Le Marais is known for. I loved being there but it was really much smaller than I imagined. I can’t thank Philippe & Leon enough for their professionalism and thoughtfulness. 5 Star Staff!

Place was perfect for our brief stay in Paris for our honeymoon. View from room was great, and staff was phenomenal! The location was everything for this trip, and it didn’t disappoint! Would stay again!

I’d love to give this place a better review but it just wasn’t that nice. The rooms weren’t insulated so you could hear your neighbors and anyone above and below. The breakfast was stale bread and a pot of weak coffee. It’s ok to have a minimal offering but at least let the bread be fresh! We are in France after all.
