Reservations were for a non smoking room 2 queen bed room and got a smoking room. The sheets were yellow with cigarette burns all over. Staff was not helpful with this at all. Pool had no water with no warning of this being closed during booking.

This was a pleasant surprise. The hotel looks a little old on the exterior, but the maintenance is kept up, and the rooms are clean. When the room is advertised non-smoking, it actually is smoke free! Beds are average in comfort. The pool was clean and refreshing. Close to boat rentals dining and shopping

My travel to this days in was lack luster... the internet was down...no breakfast...like advertised until i checked in...hotel needa updating... common areas had low lighting to save power. Pool was under repair. The room smelled like it had been bathed in lysol... tub was stained... a chair was propped against adjoinging room door almost to stop it being opened. Tissue was stuffed into peephole For the price point i paid it was too high... 65 to 70 night would have been ok...not over 100 a night. Bed was new and comfortable

If I could give them zero stars I would, I do not recommend at all. Front desk receptionist was not friendly at checking in, I was charged an additional $20 after getting asked how many people were with me, I’m not sure if that’s normal I’ve never been charged extra like that before, so whatever maybe it’s a thing. Then a roach crawled across my daughters pillow, we let the front desk know how disgusting this was & all they did was say it’s because it’s an outside hotel???? What??? The a/c in our room barely worked, the light in our bathroom was out & the front desk only offered the extra $20 they charged back.

Staff was never at the front desk, “breakfast” was despicable. During my two night stay I had to get 4 new sets of keys because they would stop working. The toilet had a leak in my room so it was constantly running. Room wasn’t clean at all. Remote control was so sticky you had to manually pry the button up to press it again because it would stick inside the remote. “Non smoking” room smelled like smoke the second we walked in. Disgusting hotel will never stay there again

Floor of room was nasty, sticky. The breakfast was merely cereal and muffins in a wrapper to be microwaved. The apple juice had particles of yuk in it. The room had a musty smell. Very disappointing. Charged big hotel money for less than adequate accommodation.

we just use hotels to sleep after work, get up the next day and do it all over again. for that purpose it was fine. we had a maintenance issue, they fixed it that day. Good job. breakfast was only dry cereal. this could use some work. we will stay here our next time in Grove or that area.

The room was decent and clean. My reservation was made on Expedia. It took the desk clerk 20 minutes to check us in, and we were the only one there. Her accent was so thick i could not understand several words. I isually never have issue understanding. Only 3 bite-size breakfast sandwiches.

We have a service dog. We resserved a king bed room. Once we arrived we were made to move to a queen sized room "for the same price" because it had tile floor rather than carpet. When i told him i wanted to keep the king bed he said we need to take the queens because thats all they had for pets. I clarified that it was not a "pet" it was a service animal and even offered to provide paperwork. We ended up getting pushed to the 2 queen beds anyways because it was so late when we came to check in i didnt want to try to have to fimd another room. Bed sheets are extremely itchy and rough. Woke up itching all over my back and legs.

The receptionist wasn't friendly. Not rude, just not friendly. He had an accent and was a little difficult to understand but we got checked in without issue. There were very few other vehicles there. As a matter of fact, we weren't sure the hotel was even open because it looked deserted. After we checked in we left to go back to the event we were in town for and when we came back there were quite a few cars there. That made me feel better. The room was clean. We had a microwave and fridge and coffee maker. No complaints with the room. The reason for some 4s in scoring is because of breakfast. There was a sign at checkin that said that breakfast might be missing some items. I'll say. There was frozen sausage and biscuits, a frozen blueberry muffin, cereal or oatmeal. There was orange and apple juice and coffee. I don't think that I have ever stayed at a hotel that offered breakfast that didn't at least have waffles. Overall, I had a place to sleep and shower. I got to eat breakfast, even though it was a bit disappointing.

The hotel was clean, beds were comfy and it was convenient (right off the main road). Close to Lake with several eateries within driving distance. The only thing we did not care for was the breakfast. It was coffee, cereal, yogurt and packaged sausage on mini buns with packaged muffins. It was okay for quick bite, but we're used to waffles, scrambled eggs, etc. We would go back though.
