The Fairhaven Inn is a nice hotel with 22 units, historical and well maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful. The King bed was comfortable but the feather pillows went flat and had no support. It's lucky we brought some little neck pillows with us. There was a small fridge in the unit, a French press coffee maker, but no microwave. We had to toss out a take-out meal because we couldn't reheat it. We thought maybe they had a microwave in the breakfast area in their library. They had hot pots for coffee and hot water, pastries and cookies. Galloway's offers happy hour drinks, small bites, but we prefer a full breakfast buffet that other hotels offer that starts at 7:00 am. The Mount Bakery, 3 blocks up the hill was open from 8:00 - 2:00. The shower only, no tub had a partial glass door, water splattered all over the bathroom floor which we had to clean up to avoid slipping. When we asked about grab bars, we were told that these are in ADA units only. The hotel has an elevator for their 3 floors. The room had full blackout drapes as our 2nd floor room was near some streetlights. The hotel was booked to capacity, so we could hear our neighbors during the night. The hotel was safe and secure as they have numeric code keypads for their doors. The street trees could use more attention with watering and care for their root systems, which is the city's responsibility.

We asked for early check in, when we got your email 3 days ahead on what you could do for us. We arrived at 11:30. Friendly & great lady at the desk said it should be ready by 1:30. We came back at 2:20 & it was still too early! Really, are all the 22 rooms magically ready at 3 pm? Enjoyed the hotel, staff, rooftop patio, our room & happy hour. Breakfast was ok, could have juice & fresher muffins.

Stayed here as it's a five minute walk to the Amtrack station. Nice hotel with comfortable room. No breakfast as such but coffee, muffins and cookies in the ground floor lounge. Fairhaven has good restaurants and crsft beer venues. Also a lovely waterfront walk to Bellingham.

Since we are a family of three, we booked the suite and loved it! It's a huge suite with large living room that can be closed off from the bedroom and large bath. Service was great, everything was spotless, and we loved the location. Highly recommend this charming old hotel.

Had a one night stay in this lovely Inn . Our room overlooked part of downtown and onto the marina. Had a small little deck where you could sit and watch the sun go down….watch the sailboats. Big king sized , firm bed. Bathroom was large and spacious. Good water pressure in the shower. We had hot water and coffee available to us in the room and also a lovely coffee bar with yummy pastries in the morning. A good sized tv with plenty of channels. A small refrigerator. Very clean. The front staff folks were wonderful to deal with. I highly recommend the Inn!

Super cute hotel! A little over priced in my opinion but good location. The decor in the lobby is adorable. Beds were quite hard and uncomfortable and very thin floors and walls they break down the tables right outside at 10:30 so that was pretty loud but it was a friday night so can’t be too mad about that. Overall cute stay! Loved the area, wish we could have been there longer.

We loved the Fairhaven Village Inn! It’s a renovated updated hotel with so much charm. Our room was beautiful with a fireplace and little balcony. You can see the ship yard from the balcony. There are boutiques, restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, and an excellent book store close by- all within walkable distance. Wonderful ambiance and experience!!

Large clean and comfy room and good walkable location. However when they say Bay or Water view, it really is looking out over warehouse roofs at a partial water view to the side. A bit disappointing.

Truly enjoyed the Inn. Room had an amazing view of the Bay. Very spacious. Only down side: no recycling containers in the room. Had to haul recycled goods to a bin on the city streets.

Stayed overnight for the annuaki to Sea race and Memorial Day weekend celebration in the heart of Fairhaven Washington. I couldn't ask for a better location. Close to so many shops restaurants breweries if you are in to that , and a Haggens grocery store. I got room with a balcony and partial Bayview it was excellent. The room was huge. Fairhaven village inn is a vary classic charming hotel to stay at. The guest library is beautiful. It was a treat sit outside on a beautiful morning on the balcony to have coffee in the morning sun. I will be back sometime.

Fairhaven Inn was a great choice for our short time in Bellingham..the Front Desk was Welcoming. Room was very spacious and an expected “dock/harbor” view was nice as we sat out on the balcony..extra perk were the table and chairs (and umbrella) on the second floor facing the park which entertained us with local bands! We enjoyed a snack and wine as we watched the sunset..although the “breakfast” was sparse, you had options to eat (paying) at a nearby Crepery..Really nice place to stay with a great location to walk to shops and bakeries.. definite recommend the hotel

Very quaint and located in a unique, beautiful area. Village area is walkable and has a variety of stores, eateries and outdoor spaces. Small bar connected to the Inn served wonderful cocktails that could be enjoyed on the deck of the Inn overlooking the bay or town. Highly recommended!

Very nice Inn. Loved the lobby and breakfast room. Coffee was and muffins were great. The only negative was an incident in the middle of the night with someone loudly yelling for about 10 minutes. Apparently other guests were awakened by the incident as the staff mentioned multiple guests complaining about it. I’m not sure is that is a frequent occurrence or a one-off but it soured my one-night stay.
