This was a great place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. It was easy to contact the site and they were very responsive even though there is no on-site management. Be warned - the stairs are steep to the second and third floor rooms.

The luxury room was beautifully decorated & the king bed was really comfortable. Easy self check-in, great location & nice continental breakfast included. No left luggage option unfortunately after check out & steep stairs up to the rooms but everything else was great

we zijn heel tevreden over de voorzieningen. Er was een föhn, opstapje voor kinderen en de keuken was goed ingericht. Koffie-apparaat met geweldige koffie, thee en koffie volop beschikbaar, ontbijt prima. Eigen koelkastje met vriesvak, kluis, airco en verwarming, directe antwoorden via app op vragen, gezellig ingericht, mogelijkheid af te wassen van eigen spullen met afwasmiddel, inpakspullen om lunchpakketje te maken, boeken en kaarten met informatie over Rome. Beautiful room. Very comfortable bed! Communication was excellent with the staff. The only complaint we had was our towels were not drying so we put them on the floor after the second night to get clean towels, but did not get them. Also, we were supposed to have wine in our room when we arrived and we didn’t get that either. But you could not beat this area!

Très bruyant je ne sais pas si c’étai les voisins ou autres, mais à 1h00 2h00 du matin il y’avait du bruit et des gens qui parlaient très fort. Il y’a de la moisissure à différents endroit et l’air climatisé de la chambre au 2e étages ne fournissait pas du tout. Pour le reste nous avons passé 1 nuit seulement très plaisnt vue qu’ils sont en face d’un resto et près des ruelles très animés le soir.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room, bathroom and kitchen were all so clean. Comfortable bed, delicious coffee and breakfast. AC works good! Perfect location, walking distance to famous places. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes around. We wanna come back here. Thank you!

Fint rum i centrum av Trastevere, på gångavstånd från allt! Rent och fint överlag, dock en hel del damm under sängarna hela veckan (trots daglig städning). Personalen var toppen och mycket hjälpsam!

Arriviamo alle 13.30 al B&B, dopo aver notificato i nostri spostamenti tramite whatsapp con largo anticipo, ma non c’era nessuno ad attenderci. Così chiamiamo la gentile Lucia che provvede a comunicarci l’imminente arrivo del suo collega Miguel. Aspettiamo ancora una decina di min ma di Miguel neanche l’ombra. Richiamiamo Lucia e dopo pochi minuti arriva Miguel che, con affanno ci saluta velocemente e apre la camera dicendo “accomodatevi”. La camera era ancora da pulire da cima a fondo: letto disfatto, tazze della colazione sporche sul tavolino, insomma, era tutto fuorché pronta per accoglierci. Dal mio sguardo attonito, Miguel si sente in dovere di intervenire giustificandosi con il fatto che ovviamente la camera non era pronta perché il check in era previsto per le ore 14.00. Adesso, essendo arrivati in loco alle 13.30 ed avendo aspettato Miguel per più di 15 minuti si erano fatte almeno le 13.45. E qui la mia domanda è stata: ok, ci sarà stato un fraintendimento da parte mia ma volete dirmi che in 15 minuti riuscite a pulire in maniera ottimale tutta la camera? La risposta è stata “se non vi va bene andate da un’altra parte”. Per il resto Il B&B è in ottima posizione grazie alla quale è stato possibile visitare le principali attrazioni spostandoci a piedi. Ovviamente il livello di pulizia non era adeguato.

Cons: 1. the bathroom was really cold.. 2.The top of the toilet was smaller than the toilet. 3. found 3 pieces of shards of glass on the bathroom floor... fortunately i never step on it... 4.the stairs were really hard to climb.. specially when you arrive with you luggage or after walking all day.. 5. the shower is tooo small.. we barely fit on it... and my wife is very thin, and I aint that big.. 6. the floor of trastever ain't luggage friendly Pros: 1.there were several restaurant around and stores 2. close by from the center and the vatican 3.the room was confortable 4. the room did has heater and had a good temperature! 5. The TV did Work. 6. has a Fridge with several drinks and candy

My wife and I stayed at Ventisei Scalini a Trastevere for our anniversary and couldn't have been happier. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Despite never meeting in person, Lucia was a wonderful host and we couldn't have asked for more. We were late arriving but gaining entry was simple and straightforward. We had far more than we needed for breakfast including fruit juices, tea and two different types of coffee. Being on the ground floor we also benefited from a small outside space, perfect for the two of us. The location was ideal. We were a short walk from the Tiber, which was great to stroll alongside of an evening, and if anyone was looking for a little more nightlife, the main restaurants in Trastevere were a short walk in the other direction. On our first day we bought tickets to use on the metro but didn't get on it once. If you're happy to wander you can easily reach all of the main "tourist" sites. We walked to the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Castel Sant'Angelo and St Peter's Square and Basilica and so much more. We cannot recommend this place enough. Do yourself a favour and book a long weekend. You won't regret it.

Great stay and location. The room was beautifully decorated and updated. Very nice overall. Wish the bathroom had a full door on the shower though as shower did not have a lip or curtain and the bathroom floor got soaked afterwards.

Fácil acceso! La zona en donde está súper bien, hay varios bares y restaurantes ! Solo habría que avisar que tiene uno que informar la hora de su llegada al del guest house! Y lo único malo que le encontré es que o te bañas con agua hirviendo o con agua helada , se me fue varias veces el agua caliente y se tardaba en salir !

Chambre très petite. Lit et oreillers inconfortables. La douche ne fonctionne pas bien (alternance chaud/froid sans raison). Les volets dans la salle de bain ne ferment pas bien il faut les tenir lorsqu'on est aux toilettes... Quartier top en revanche.

Had a 2 night stay in this gem. The location is perfect in the heart of Trastevere We love to be in the center of it all, restaurants, shops, music, fun! The room was decorated beautifully and super comfortable, bathroom with amenities and shower stall with excellent water pressure. I’ll definitely stay here again.

While the room we occupied had been renovated recently, the breakfast part of B&B is misleading. Breakfast consisted of some pastries in cellphane, juice boxes (2) and some cereals and breads in a small common area. We did not see a staff person after check-in. The property is on a small alley and is difficult to locate. The room was clean and quiet.

I booked a private room and was instead mistakenly placed in a hostel room. The error wasn't immediately apparent. When I arrived at the location late in the evening, the directions were unclear. After several mistaken attempts, we finally found the room that was unlocked by the key that was provided. The hostel room had three bedrooms with a common area. We entered the common room (which we initially thought was simply part of our booked room) and found a single door open to a bedroom. We enjoyed our stay in Trastevere. Our hosts were wonderful. The amenities were fine and our room was comfortable and clean. We loved being able to walk to most sites from our neighborhood. We would definitely stay again.

The host was a very nice man, we were told all the direction ahead of the visit and we were met with great hospitality. Only thing I’d change is maybe having more availability to talk to someone in charge of the B&B, is something we’re to go wrong. We had a clogged sink and as soon as we told the manager he had the cleaner clean it out and we were all set. We overall liked our stay here.

This was a very good value for the price. I stayed in the Sogni room. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. The room themes give a personal touch. Lucia, Michele and the staff were very hospitable. I was only in Rome for 2 days and this was a super convenient option. It is an adorable neighborhood with a variety of great food and drink options around every corner. 5-10 minutes walk to bus stops. Close to Isola Tiberina and the Jewish Ghetto across the river. 15 minutes walk to Piazza Navona. Grazie mille.

What an AMAZING neighborhood to stay in. This B&B provided everything and more for me and my husband. It was super easy to find the property, they maintained great communication with us, and the rooms were so cute!! We are coming back to Rome in October and plan to stay here with my parents. Pros: The Ventisei is in a great location in the Trastavere neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and bars and gelateria and a very social vibe. Easy to walk to other parts of Rome from the place. Miguel was extremely friendly and let me in early and showed me around the place, which I appreciated. The bed was comfortable and I loved making my own coffee in the room. I liked sitting outside with my coffee on the tiny terrace. The price of the bed and breakfast was very reasonable. Cons: There is a restaurant right next door and it was noisy at night so if you're an early bird like me, it's not quiet. People who like to stay up would probably not mind this. The breakfast was processed snack foods which I didn't eat. In the fridge was juice boxes, yogurts, milk, some cheese and 2 water bottles which I enjoyed.

My wife and I stayed at Ventisei Scalini a Trastevere for our anniversary and couldn't have been happier. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Despite never meeting in person, Lucia was a wonderful host and we couldn't have asked for more. We were late arriving but gaining entry was simple and straightforward. We had far more than we needed for breakfast including fruit juices, tea and two different types of coffee. Being on the ground floor we also benefited from a small outside space, perfect for the two of us. The location was ideal. We were a short walk from the Tiber, which was great to stroll alongside of an evening, and if anyone was looking for a little more nightlife, the main restaurants in Trastevere were a short walk in the other direction. On our first day we bought tickets to use on the metro but didn't get on it once. If you're happy to wander you can easily reach all of the main "tourist" sites. We walked to the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Castel Sant'Angelo and St Peter's Square and Basilica and so much more. We cannot recommend this place enough. Do yourself a favour and book a long weekend. You won't regret it.

It was very noisy in the night, with garbage trucks and people shouting in the street with disregard for people sleeping nearby. (Easter weekend) As women travelling, we did feel safe staying here-everything locked up tight and Mike the attendant present and helpful. Spraying faucet needs repair. Room super clean.

Had a 2 night stay in this gem. The location is perfect in the heart of Trastevere We love to be in the center of it all, restaurants, shops, music, fun! The room was decorated beautifully and super comfortable, bathroom with amenities and shower stall with excellent water pressure. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Local area was actually OK and not different to many other parts of Rome we saw. Restaurant outside the property was noisy until late and then also disposed of bottles loudly at 4am during our stay. Breakfast area was pleasant and staff were responsive in fixing shower issues. Bed could have easily been better. It was actually a lovely little place to stay and well located for exploring Rome.

Area was convenient close to restaurants in the heart of Trastevere. I had a back room so luckily did not hear loud street noise. Bed was not bad and AC (in the bedroom only) was very good. Shower was not consistent at times would come out very cold for several seconds and then warm up again. Breakfast not great, who wants instant coffee in Rome! And first day it was brown bananas and the end of a pound cake. These are shared with two neighboring rooms all sharing the small kitchen area. Warning there are 2 flights of steep stairs so need to be in shape to drag up luggage. Overall I think overpriced for what it was but good if had a budget price.

We loved our experience at B&B Ventisei Scalini a Trastevere. The price was reasonable. The rooms were unique and interesting - exactly what we were looking for. (These are not large American rentals/hotels, but we were ok with the smaller size so we could soak up the culture and location.) Trastevere is such a great/fun neighborhood. We felt safe walking around after dark and into the night. Our three early 20-somethings loved the vibe! And finally, I don't normally do this, but I had to make an extraordinary request of the lodging management, and they said: "no problem!" I was so thankful for their assistance.

Everything was great. Cozy and comfy and walking distance for everything! I have a little OCD I did not find the bathroom clean the baseboards and wall needed to be cleaned. There was a spill on the floor and the wall that weren’t cleaned up behind the door.
