Beautiful little hotel with a great breakfast! It is far enough from the noise but close enough to walk to the beach! It is simple but comfortable rooms with WiFi, hot water and air conditioning. It has a nice pool area too.

You need to check that the windows close and lock. Lots of men staying at the hotel but didn’t see any families. We were two women and while the hotel has security and is gated, I probably wouldn’t stay there again or by myself.

Very good value and a good location 3 minutes walk from the main strip Avenida Duarte. Nothing fancy but you cannot expect that at the price point. Nice to have a pool even if not big. Helpful staff.

When i'm in Boca Chica I always stay at Hotel Garant. 1 block from the beach very peaceful and tranquil when you need to sleep. Bedding changed daily. Good breakfast. Anything you need the manager will take care of it. Best security guard around. In room safes. Good a/c and hot water. I been coming to Boca Chica since 2006 and this is always my spot.

The hotel is really clean, quiet, and safe. It is 3 blocks from the beach, but not in the middle of all the noise at the Calle Duarte, which is a good thing. The staff is friendly and they go out of their way to accomodate your needs. Breakfast is delicious and you have plenty of choices. Those are the reasons that I keep coming back. I have stayed there for 5 years now.

I have been to the Garant on a number of occasions And always find the staff helpful. The hotel itself is located 100 yards from the beach and the bars, cafés and restaurants on Avenue Duarte. Understandably the hotel is an older facility as are most of the hotels in the area, Housekeeping does a fantastic job of cleaning the room on a daily basis, The water is hot and the air conditioner work well. I am planning another trip later this year and will definitely be using the Garant hotel.

The hotel is well located and very reasonably priced. Sadly the bedroom has a cable TV box mounted 5’ tall. It sticks out and is dangerous. In one night two near misses and one scraped head. Good breakfast prepared fresh. I will stay again but get rid of the cable box shelf!!!!

I had one of the rooms with its own living area. It was so nice to be able to separate one’s self from the bedroom. Would recommend you consider doing the same. Staff were very helpful and there was a good selection of breakfast items. Bed and linen were in good condition. Very convenient location close to supermarket and restaurants.

While I was showering, the shower head shot off the pipe and nearly hit me in the forehead. The TV kept shutting off and loosing connection. The room was not kept up.

Most of the staff were friendly. Security knocked on my door at 6am when my taxi to the airport arrived. Rooms are okay if not a little overpriced. Bed, TV and Aircon all good. The bathroom door was hanging off one hinge so not great for easily opening/closing. Location is good, a 5 minutes walk to supermarket.

I only stayed the night, but I had a decent experience. The hotel itself had no bells and whistles, but the room was clean and I slept fine. There was a leak in the plumbing below the bathroom sink, though had I been staying longer, I'm sure they could have fixed it. When I got up in the morning, I went to the beach, which was a mere 5 minute walk from the hotel. The water at the beach was crystal clear and warm, even on an early February morning. I had very limited time there, but I thought the hotel was pretty good for the price.

Friendly, helpful staff, nice pool area, good breakfast. The pictures online are accurate. It's a little dated, but clean. Short walk to the beach and about 10-15 minutes walk from the Ole supermarket. Would definitely stay here again if i were to return to Boca Chica

Property is clean and walking distance to the beach. The room is basic but comfortable, with air conditioning, cable tv, table and chairs. Breakfast was great and filling with eggs, ham, potatoes, bread made to order. Staff and other guest are very friendly. Arrived at night and hotel was a little hard to find because of small signage. Check-in was easy.
