I like the hotel was gated, area peaceful, art was lovely to look at, staff was always available, the restaurant food, drinks, staff and decorations were stellar. I didn’t like the Jacuzzi was always cold and not attended to.

Hidden gem in Boca Chica. Literally walking distance to the beach. The rooms are small and quaint but have all the essentials. Love the bohemian design style. There’s parking in a small gated area and on the street. Breakfast is included in your stay. The views from the rooftop patio is gorgeous. Also, you’re right in the midst of DR living. We stayed here to have a short commute to the airport. Worth every penny.

For the price point. This hotel is very adorable. For a fast get away. It was a decent choice. There’s a pool and a hot tub on the ground floor. And a roof terrace with the second pool. The room was spacious and clean enough. Seconds from the beach. Overall not a bad choice for this price… the bad parts? staff needs hospitality training. The customer service just was not there. As a single female traveler, I could had gotten a better room. Instead they tucked me away in the darkest part of the hotel. The restaurant is overpriced. Can NOT justify the cost of fried red snapper with potato wedges and 2 glasses of white wine being $50 American Dollars. Tip not included. Then on my last night with my last glass of wine on the night stand. I look over to sip the wine and there a giant roach on the drinking glass… I got what I paid for honestly. Not to bad for the price point.

We LOVED this hotel! It is beautiful - full of plants and unique art. The pool facilities were lovely with waterfalls and music. The restaurants were delicious. The room was nice with a comfortable bed and great AC. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel feels safe with gates and such but be aware of the area around it. Boca Chica is nice but at night it felt a bit dangerous with folks trying to flag you down in your car. But of course this is no fault of the hotel.

Really liked the boutique atmosphere of this place. Exceptionally friendly staff. Unique place with lots of books and crannies. Small pool with waterfall. Huge hot tub. Great restaurant. Great free breakfast. Nice dining area on the upstairs outdoor area. Just across the street from the beach and at the end of the street was a big plus. A lot of value for boca chica if you like the boutique type of hotel. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

O hotel é muito bonito e a cozinha foi a MELHOR que vimos em Boca Chica. Entretanto, a cama é bem desconfortável, o quarto é bem pequeno e o banheiro não possui ventilação. Além disso, a cortina do chuveiro estava com muiiiiiiito mofo. Por fim, é necessário pontuar que o lês não oferecem shampoo e nem condicionador.

Te enseñan las mejores fotos en la página y la habitaciones están horribles fea huelen mal las paredes descascarándose todo el baño asquerosidad. No hay limpieza de servicio. Se me callo un jugo en la cama y el piso y me dieron ellos a mí un suape para que lo limpie yo y no me cambiaron la sábana. Todo fue horrible.

Camera piccola, di stampo antico, con bagno piccolo e non moderno sebbene sufficiente e funzionale. Letto comodo ed i sistemi di climatizzazione erano funzionanti. Purtroppo ho dovuto eliminare due scarafaggi e la cosa si giustifica parzialmente solo per il fatto che la camera era al piano terra in un contesto di giardino tropicale. Rimane il sospetto che le camere dei piani superiori fossero migliori così come mostrano le fotografie pubblicate dall’hotel e senza blatte.

My stay at this property was extremely disappointing. The first room I was assigned had roaches, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel. After requesting a change, I was moved to another building/“home” that turned out to be even worse. The new room was located directly next to the kitchen, and I had to wake up as early as 5–6 AM every morning because I could hear every noise coming from staff preparing food. It was impossible to rest, and the only time I could get any sleep was during the day, forcing me to stay in bed just to recover. On top of that, no clients or guests were placed anywhere near my area, which made me question why I was assigned to a room in such poor condition. The last room felt like the kind of space they give to guests they don’t care about. The experience made me feel singled out, and I genuinely felt I may have been treated unfairly. Overall, this stay was a nightmare. Between the roaches, the noise, and the feeling of being placed in a neglected room, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

Near the beach, secure and quiet place. The room was very small for two people, but it was really clean and quiet, so we have a good night sleep. I did not like that in the morning j lost have an hour trying to checkout, nobody was there to receive the room keys, when I was about to leave the security appear and we returned to him. Overall nice place, few things to improve but you can have a decent sleep time there, recommend.

This place just didn’t do it for me. It was a maze getting to me room. Narrow staircase, so I had a difficult time with my luggage. The room wasn’t horrible but it looked like a room from an old sitcom. Just very out dated. The clerk told me I wasn’t allowed visitors. I had friends in town who couldn’t visit me. They gave me a wristband, I guess to get in and out of the property and breakfast I guess. I told him this is very unsanitary plus, I’m supposed to shower with this thing every day. Long story short. I checked in at night and left in the morning. I was booked for two nights. I don’t think I stayed more than 12 hours I wish I could get my money back or at least my money back for one night either way there was no way I was staying there any longer. And the surrounding area, complete nightmare. Definitely the info safe.

The staff was very friendly and their english was good, the rooms look like the pictures for the most part but need updating, our room was sufficating and mosquitoes was terrible we had to request a change of room which was an issue they had no problem downgrading our room (without some restitution) because we werent pleased with the first one because it was musky and had no good air flow but wanted us to pay extra because they didnt have any more standard room available (so they say) The wifi was terrible... there was limited options for breakfast wish they had more variety... the pool was freezing, and we had no hot water in our rooms which was bad.

The property is a nice hotel with interesting gadgets around it that make it a sort of unique place, the room was clean but evidently has had better times, bathroom was tiny and uncomfortable. The attention was fantastic 👏 everyone very attentive and cordial. The area however leaves a lot to desire.lots of rundown buildings, dirt, loud music and you get accosted constantly by people trying to sell you things. Wife was often approached by men trying to seduce her or chat her up in very inappropriate ways. One day was enough to never want to be in the area.

Had a reservation for 2, only to arrive and be told by the security guard I can't bring anyone with me to the room? What's the point of have a room for 2 if you can't plan to maybe meet someone and bring them back with you? Who I spend my vacation with is none of their business. If I pay for 2 people then that's what I expect. Didn't plan on having to pay last minute to go somewhere else in the night since they won't allow a guest to enter in a room booked for 2.

I stayed o my 1 day of the 5 I booked. When I arrived. I told them my fiancée was going to arrive in the morning with my 1 year old Son. They told me I couldn’t have visitors I replied she is my fiancé with my son. They said those are the rules and that they are a family hotel implying that my fiancée was a prostitute. For the price point. This hotel is very adorable. For a fast get away. It was a decent choice. There’s a pool and a hot tub on the ground floor. And a roof terrace with the second pool. The room was spacious and clean enough. Seconds from the beach. Overall not a bad choice for this price… the bad parts? staff needs hospitality training. The customer service just was not there. As a single female traveler, I could had gotten a better room. Instead they tucked me away in the darkest part of the hotel. The restaurant is overpriced. Can NOT justify the cost of fried red snapper with potato wedges and 2 glasses of white wine being $50 American Dollars. Tip not included. Then on my last night with my last glass of wine on the night stand. I look over to sip the wine and there a giant roach on the drinking glass… I got what I paid for honestly. Not to bad for the price point.

I enjoyed the hotel restaurant and staff. When I arrived there was no one available to check us in for over 40 minutes. I had to go sit in the restaurant and order food in order to wait for hotel security to get there and process my check in. When we finally got the check in done, I found it strange that the hotel required a copy of my daughter's passport (a minor). Not sure if this is the process for all hotels in the area but have never encountered that at any other hotel. The room was clean and hotel was unique but room did have an odd smell and the bathroom could use an upgrade. Also there were cats in the halls (not a problem for us but may be a problem for ppl that are allergic).

It is very close to the airport and they were kind enough to arrange for transportation for me for a small charge (the driver was so nice and got me there in a timely manner and safely). It is located in a very busy area, so the street / traffic noise was a bit of a disturbance first thing in the morning. The hotel is a hidden gem.

I liked the exterior of the property, peaceful and very Zen-like. It's like a shared with the manager/owner (unsure), it's like an oasis in the desert. What I didn't like, was the anbience after dark. Totally unsafe, dirty and unpleasant. Not much decent entertainment in the surrounding area. It's as though Batey has been tasked with lifting the area to it's old glory. I wish them all the best and hope to see it some day. Thanks

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was very clean. The staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and inviting. The restaurant at the property has delicious food and a good beverage selection. Its location not far from SDQ Airport (10-15 miles) and close walking distance to the beach and many shops/restaurants is convenient. The cost is very reasonable as well. The property is a nice hotel with interesting gadgets around it that make it a sort of unique place, the room was clean but evidently has had better times, bathroom was tiny and uncomfortable. The attention was fantastic 👏 everyone very attentive and cordial. The area however leaves a lot to desire.lots of rundown buildings, dirt, loud music and you get accosted constantly by people trying to sell you things. Wife was often approached by men trying to seduce her or chat her up in very inappropriate ways. One day was enough to never want to be in the area.

In General the hotel has an excellent localization, close to the beach. The cleaning of all area was notable. My only issue was that some meals at their menu are not present, when you ask for, including local beer, Presidente, My Favorite...!!!

Batey Hotel Boutique is a little gem! From the moment we arrived, Elle made us welcome and feel at home. The room was really nice and the staff always willing to help. The food was excellent too - breakfast was ample and we stayed in one night to try the dinner menu - the food was excellent! Close to the beach too!

The staff was very friendly and their english was good, the rooms look like the pictures for the most part but need updating, our room was sufficating and mosquitoes was terrible we had to request a change of room which was an issue they had no problem downgrading our room (without some restitution) because we werent pleased with the first one because it was musky and had no good air flow but wanted us to pay extra because they didnt have any more standard room available (so they say) The wifi was terrible... there was limited options for breakfast wish they had more variety... the pool was freezing, and we had no hot water in our rooms which was bad.

Really liked the boutique atmosphere of this place. Exceptionally friendly staff. Unique place with lots of books and crannies. Small pool with waterfall. Huge hot tub. Great restaurant. Great free breakfast. Nice dining area on the upstairs outdoor area. Just across the street from the beach and at the end of the street was a big plus. A lot of value for boca chica if you like the boutique type of hotel. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

We booked after reading customer reviwes. Evertything was true to our experience, good room, excelent customer service and to top it of amazing breakfast. Walkable to beach, not a tourist spot by any means gor i ternarional travelers but it is nice and get to experience how locals enjoy precious beach. There are dru kards or otherwise street vendors teying to make a sale or conversation. Nothing a continus walk wirh no eye contact wouldnt weedout.
