Lindisfarne House

Great little room, perfect for my needs. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Good local knowledge and flexible service to make things easier for the triathlon.

If you ever go to the Lake District for hiking or whatever, consider going to Keswick. I've been traveling internationally and domestically for 47 years, but I've never experienced the hospitality that we received from Chris and Allison. To say they go the extra mile is an understatement. They go the extra 100. Every day Allison would make us a magnificent, home cooked breakfast, while Chris would actually walk us out to make sure we found the right route to the fell we were climbing that day. They are delightful, both of them, and they will make you feel like honored guests. My daughter, her close friend, and I were treated like royalty. And the hikes in the Lake District can't be touched. Chris knows everyone -- he was the mayor for a long time -- and so we were treated royally all over. Lindisfarne House, centrally located and convenient to everywhere, simply cannot be beat, and you'll never meet nicer hosts than Chris and Allison. Tell them I sent you. I'll certainly be back soon.

Can’t fault it…a delicious big breakfast, comfortable quiet room in a quiet street, a short walk to the lake and a friendly, helpful host. Hope to visit again
