Best Western Plus Amedia Hotel Wien

There were several unfortunate incidents in this hotel. I start with the worst one. This hotel only offers housekeeping if you put the sign. There is no “do not disturb sign” so they are supposed not to disturb otherwise. In the morning at 8.15 they just came inside and went out immediately!!! Even not knocking and waiting for some seconds! When i told the reception about this they just called it a “mistake” and did not even say a simple “sorry”! The other problem, the shower pipe was leaking and it was almost impossible to take a shower. They were not able to fix the shower immediately but they offered to change the room which is OK. Then, almost every time i was leaving room and coming back, the key was deactivated! they said the key was close to your cell phone which is not true as o don’t keep my cards on my phone case.

Family suite with bed and sofa bed. Sofa bed not meant for sleeping. Very uncomfortable. Room was big enough to have a proper bed and a sofa. I would rather have a proper bed to sleep in than a sofa. Television was on its last legs. Had white dots across the whole screen. Door handle to enter room was coming off. Bathtub with a half glass makes it very difficult to take a shower without getting the floor outside the bathtub all wet. Bathtub deep and very inconvenient for seniors to get in and out. Not even a handle to get in and out of the bathtub for seniors.
