Everything was fine. At first my room had a problem and they changed it immediately. Breakfast is quite various (especially the savoury one), also inclusive for vegetarians and vegans. The spa and gym areas are comfortable and have a wonderful view on the city. Also the hotel is in front of the central station so it's perfect to visit every place. Highly recommended.

Schönes Hotel. Personal sehr freundlich, schnell und unkompliziert, Zimmer geräumig und praktikabel, Bett für mich viel zu weich und unbequem. Tv bietet keine Smartfunktionen an, nur Screen Mirroring. Teppichboden hatte Flecken (Zimmer war sauber, die Flecken waren alt). Zimmerklima war unangenehm, auf kältester Stufe trotzdem warm und stickig, Fenster wie in solchen Hotels üblich nicht öffenbar.

We booked the room with 2 beds. The beds were very narrow and the mattresses and pillows were very old and uncomfortable. The door of the fridge was broken. The air conditioning made such a noise that was impossible to sleep. The bathroom tub was very sleepery with no protection. No one came to clean the room we had to call housekeeper at 4pm. As they cleaned the room the coffee mugs were not changed or washed. The breakfast room was clean and the breakfast was not bad. The only one thing good about the hotel is being across the street from the train station, so if you planned to use the train it was very convenient. In overal the stay in this hotel was very disappointing.

Vom Hauptbahnhof mit großem Food-Court (9:00-23:00) + sehr freundlicher Empfang mit zügigem Check-In/Out +sehr schön ruhiges und top sauberes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Innenhof, keinerlei Lärm vom Flur oder von den Nachbarzimmern +sehr bequeme und weiche (aber nicht zu weiche) Betten +vergleichsweise großes Bad (leider mit Badewanne) +tolles Frühstück mit sehr großer Auswahl in allen Kategorien (Wurst/Schinken, Käse, Säfte, Müsli &Jogurt, warmes Frühstück, Kaffee/Tee, …) —> es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt +Frühstücksbereich großzügig mit genug Plätzen und nicht überfüllt; sehr empfehlenswert für Familien mit Kindern (sie lieben die Kinder-Pancake Station und das Spielzimmer gleich nebenan ) Was uns weniger gefallen hat: -kein Minikühlschrank mehr auf dem Zimmer, obwohl der Rahmen dafür noch vorhanden ist -Klimaanlage nicht sehr leistungsfähig, in maximaler Stufe nach mehreren Stunden nur 23 Grad erreicht (bei 22 Grad Außentemperatur), daher fraglich, wie es bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen sein wird -Auslegware im Zimmer (schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen) Fazit: empfehlenswertes Hotel mit vielen Vorteilen und nur wenigen Kritikpunkten

I like the location and cleanliness of this hotel. However, one thing missing in our room is a refrigerator. I'm not sure why they don’t provide one. The place was fantastic but the most critical thing for me is the bed and temperature. The room was unbearably warm and was told that since it was October the A/C was no longer functioning. Strange. The room felt like an oven and as a result the stay was unsatisfactory.

I waited more than 10 minutes to check in while the employee stared down his computer and talked to his workmates. He wouldn’t make eye contact with me or let me know he will help me after he is done. When I complained, he mumbled something unintelligible. I go on more than 20 trips a year with Expedia. I think this may be the first time I ever reviewed anything. I didn’t feel like he treated me like a human. Horrible.

Sensational hotel with excellent customer service. A real gem. Thirty seconds (verified) walk from the main railway station so 16 minutes from airport - use the RailJet not CAT. Allowed an early check in (2PM) with no charge. A small problem with the room was fixed instantly using a chat system. The room is very tastefully done and the bathroom very large. Walkable within minutes to most of Vienna's major attractions. Quiet at weekend around which makes it feel safe and secure. Highly recommend, cannot fault. Hoteliers of Britain - come see how to do it!

외출 후 돌아와보니 방문이 살짝 열려 있어 너무 놀랐고, 즉시 로비로 내려가 직원에게 말했습니다. 당시 직원이 분실물이 있어면 알려달라고 하고, 조사해보고 설명해주겠다 했습니다. 다행히 분실물은 없었지만, 사건 당일이나 퇴실시 추가적인 설명이나 후속 조치가 전혀 없었습니다. 전세계 여러 호텔을 방문해보았지만 이런 일은 처음이라 정말 당황스러웠습니다. 이름이 익숙한 체인호텔을 찾는 이유가 예기치 못한 상황에서 적절한 대처가 이루어지길 바라는 데 있는데, 그런 대처가 너무 부적절하게 느껴져서 실망스러웠습니다. 심지어 호텔측 실수였는데도 말이지요... 역이용하기에 가까워서 편리했고, 직원들의 일상적인 응대는 친절했지만, 호텔의 실수와 위기대처능력 때문에 저는 앞으로 노보텔은 이용하지 않을 예정이고, 주변에도 이런 경험을 얘기해주고 비추할 것 같습니다.

Seamless check in when we arrived after an eaely morning start travelling - The lady who dealt with our check in was warm and welcoming and made us feel at ease straight away. The room was spotless and was cleaned daily with fresh towels if required. Great size for a family of 3, would most definitely visit again. Only thing missing was they were unable to provide a bed guard for our 3 year old, he is too big for a travel cot.

My family and I stayed for a 3 day visit to Vienna, based on other reviews and were also very happy with our stay. Location is a great launchpad to get to different areas of Vienna. The hotel and staff are very nice, great facilities, family friendly with lots of small detail for kid at breakfast and playroom. Hotel also has a nice breakfast and plenty of food options within a 5-10 min walk. Highly recommend.

The facility is modern and clean. A nice in house bar-restaurant offers a range of tasty dishes. Staff was generally friendly, apart from one snappy receptionist. Breakfast choices were nice. However, it seemed that especially the breakfast area and obviously the kitchen were understaffed, as refilling the buffet could not keep up with the demand. Novotel Hauptbahnhof was truly perfect for a 5 night stay in Wien with my parents, where we needed easy access to the Hauptbahnhof and public transit. The D line is 3 mins away, and the train station is even closer. The staff here were incredible, warm, and helpful, the restaurant and especially the bar staff were amazing, and the property is a great value for the amenities, rooms, and the convenience. Our flight arrived in Wien early, and even though we were able to store our bags for a bit, our room was ready shortly before 10am. 10 out of 10, no notes!
