A "get what you paid for" situation. The outdoor restaurant doesn't have the food on the menu...said the hotel has been sold so they aren't stocking food (but the one waiter/cook was VERY nice...not their fault.) Air conditioning was subpar in room and did not reach the bathroom, so it was like a sauna. Doors rattle from wind blowing. Very bright router blue light blinks & lights up room all night. Good mattress, good housekeeping, excellent desk staff were nice and helpful at all times. Cannot say enough about how friendly they were. The new owners should update the entire hotel and keep all of the staff.

This is by far the best 3* hotel we have stayed at in Barbados! The rooms are tidy and clean, the staff is friendly, the pool side bar and restaurant is decent.

There was no shuttle service of any kind as stated on Expedia. The staff said that the hotel does not offer any shuttle setbice.

Door was filled of insects at night. Bar area lack ingredients the chef was nice tried to cater for my needs with the little that he has. The entrance seems unsafe to me if the security not around someone could walk straight to the room.

A cosy hotel within easy reach of supermarkets, eating options and transport. A beautiful beach across the road. Very clean and reasonably equipped. Better sized pan options would have been useful and a few different sizes of glasses. Gardens are well maintained and pool area was nice. For the price point the hotel hit the spot.

I found the Palm Garden Hotel to be very good. It is and older hotel, but I found the room to be clean. The grounds were very well kept and were beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant right on the property and the food was very good and not badly priced. The hotel is very good at following up with you. When I first booked the hotel, they sent me a note saying they were looking forward to our stay. They followed up again about a week before I came. I found this hotel to be very good.

We were initially given a room below the level that we had paid for, but with help from Hotels.com, we did get that changed. Room was clean, but the sleeper couch was very uncomfortable, as the cushions didn’t stay in place. The pool area was very nice, and it was nice to have a restaurant on location.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the Palm Gardens because we arrived early and had to wait for our room to be vacated and cleaned. Staff were really helpful and allowed us to put our luggage behind the front desk and use the restaurant and toilets. when we did get our room it was functional and clean with a kitchenette and shower room. It was a little bit old and could do with a bit of modernisation but nothing to spoil our trip. The pool was nice and relaxing and the staff were helpful and friendly I would definitely stay again as its very close to St Lawrence Gap and the airport. We also found a really nice bar and lounge called Mix 6 close by. The price was also really reasonable too.

Beautiful hotel rooms. Big and spacious. Nice sofas. Nice staff. They only have to change their doors to hotel standard doors. Hotel doors are old and key operated even from the inside.

Staff support was lacking when i complained about the excessively loud parties which woke us at 1am and completely ruined our stay. The room is in dire need of renovation eg the front door did not lock properly and the bathro om storage had holes in it. The mattress on therbed had a big hollow in the middle and was veyr uncomfortable to sleep in.

My room was at the back of the car park so not an attractive entrance. The room was very basic, but clean and adequate. Some staff were welcoming and pleasant , but others were not. Reception was rather ‘hit and miss’. I wouldn’t stay there again.
