We have stayed here before and we have no problems with it. They even store your bags securely for you. Basic but excellent and handy to everything.

Great location. If your on the 4th floor be prepared to take your luggage up 2 sets of very steep stairs. We had no wifi in our room but once I stepped outside my room it worked. Only downside.

This hotel has one of the most central locations in all of Amsterdam. If you want to be close to all the action, this is the place to go! The hotel itself is older, which is to be expected. There is an elevator but we also had to take a few flights of stairs to get to our room. The staff is friendly and will hold your bags after check out. I definitely recommend.

We arrived late and were allocated a family room on the ground floor. We couldn’t easily find the room so needed a member of the reception staff to help. They also found it difficult to find the room and while they figured it out swore repeatedly and kept saying they ‘fu**ing hate this hotel’ We eventually found the room and entered. It was tucked right at the other end of the hotel. The window is at street level and revellers used the outside window ledge to sit and talk late into the night. We expected some outside noise given the location but this extreme. On the plus side, the room was fairly clean. Nice beds and bedding, great shower. Coffee machine & TV all there. Just grubby carpets and walls tatty. The breakfast was pretty good, chilled out and well stocked. Friendly staff. The location is very central. As a family, I wouldn’t recommend it - unless proximity to the station is a priority as it was for us. For a group of four party-goers it would be a good option and reasonably priced.

+s: Absolutely in the midst of all the restaurants and bars. Reasonably quiet. Water pressure ok. -s: Very tired looking and poorly lit room. Odd bathroom and at the top of four flights of very narrow, spiral stairs (lift will not take you to the very top). Considering the price point (expensive) I would not go back.

O acesso aos quartos parece um labirinto de escadas! O elevador não chega até os quartos e para ter acesso ao que estávamos era preciso subir várias escadas. Isso com mala é terrível, pois além das escadas serem íngremes o corredor é extremamente estreito. O teto do quarto é super baixo e as janelas não abrem, apenas inclinam minimamente, o que deixa o ambiente muito abafado e exalando o cheiro do banheiro. Não foi uma estadia positiva para nós!!

The room was very smelly and dirty, there where stains on the furniture and I was very uncomfortable with touching anything in the room. The staff where however very polite and available for us. The hotel is placed in a grate location as well! The price does not match the overall standard unfortunately.

Das Zimmer war sehr dreckig. Es waren Flecken auf der Bettwäsche und Flecken und Schmutz überall im Zimmer. An der Decke waren Wasserflecken und die Klimaanlage funktionierte auch nicht richtig. Das Hotel hatte im allgemeinen einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch und der Zustand ließ auch zu wünschen übrig. Wir haben uns sehr unwohl gefühlt.

Terrible hotel - room stank of cigarette smoke and when I raised this with the reception staff, there was no offer to give me a different room. Hotel was grubby and extremely dated. Bathroom towels were torn. The only plus was the room having a coffee machine! The notice board refers to sex workers and drugs which indicates the hotel’s low standards.

Pictures were not representative of the actual hotels rundown, grubby condition. The room I was given first had wet carpet in areas. Bed linen was dirty and one pillow had what I suspected to be bodily fluids on it. Woke up in the middle of the night to another rooms faulty bathroom fan making a clatterling noise, which ran from 3am to 8am. Hotel did move me to another room, but no one really cared. Second room was better but still grubby. Carpet in hallway hadn’t been hoovered in a while. Took videos and photos. Hotel not interested.

Extreem laag plafond, we konden niet normaal rechtop staan. Spiegel in de badkamer hing zo laag dat we gebukt ons haar moesten doen. Airco en föhn waren zodanig beschimmeld dat er een stinkende lucht uit kwam, dus niet gebruikt. De vloerbedekking was een vies oud tapijt en doordat de vloer oneven was braken we bijna onze nekken. Ook zaten we schimmelpuntjes in het beddengoed.

Loved how close to everything this place was. Beds were ok, but the lighting in the room was so bad. Dimly lit. Also the shower was cold. And the floor felt like we were going to fall through in one spot.

Fantastic location, short walk from the main station and you feel like your in the heart of the city centre. Rooms were clean and tidy, staff were very friendly. Breakfast was ok, have had better in most other hotels I've stayed in. The room we had, lacked double or triple glazing. It was very noisy outside form late afternoon til early morning. Then you had the street cleaners going round. Didn't get a great night's sleep on any night of my stay.

Près de tout ( spécialement de la Gare Centrale )mais apportez vos bouchons ! L’hôtel est tres mal isolé ( on entend les voisins parler) et elle est située derrière un centre de congrès. Les camions de toutes sortes viennent chercher les conteneurs de bouteilles ( très bruyant) et les poubelles …

Perfect location, its a short walk to everywhere. However, the noise is too loud from Room 12. It was hard to sleep. The bed could be better quality However, Everything else is perfect.

Great location. Staff and services were terrible. No hot water for a 2-night stay. We told them twice and they did nothing. Didn’t even try apologizing or offering a different room. Extremely disappointed.

Very good location, convenient, accessible and staff were friendly and helpful very accommodating and approachable. Special mention to an Arthur he was very helpful in letting as do an early check in. Gesture was very much appreciated after a very early flight.

I cant explain in words how bad my experience was here. I had to walk out from that hotel after the conceireg guy harrased me, called me with names based on my skin and nationality. Racist person ever I have met. After I responded back he threated me that he will shoot me. I involved the manager carolina eehiuz she refused to provide me the name of the guy and asked me to remove my glasses so she can look at me. Really? She was rude and unprofessional. She said Do whatever I can but they will not take action on the incident. Unfortunately, I had to involve police and my embassy and other authorities. Please think thousands times before you chose this stinky hotel and disgusting staff including the manager. They still have not refunded my funds. Good luck who stays at this dirty mafia hotel.

Staff was excellent, friendly and very helpful. We were booked into a room on the third floor andcwe asked if we could be moved to somewhere on the lower floor, they gave us an excellent room next to reception whjch was brilliant and they could not do enough for you. Room was clean and bedding, bathroom was spotless and lovely clean towels.

I visited to have a quiet few days off trip meeting friends. I realised hotel room was changed from what i originally booked without my notice. The room was noisy as next to main road but also was smelly and was dark! I raised this in morning and i was given another room, from 115 to 137. 137 was nicer but the room again was smaller than what i booked. There was constant issues with door as the key wouldnt work and a colleague helped to recharge and then let me in. I was not even given toothpaste brush any kit? Also no slippers. Upon querying i was handed this on on day. Breakfast also was poor, and the area was not clean. I paid a significant amount and felt it was not at all good or value for money. Im sharing some photos. Also i lost €110 which i complained about during transfer of room but hotel staff couldn't do much. Id like to escalate this and get compensation not just for money lost but also the abysmal experience i had.

We arrived to find they had our booking but no room for us. We waited in reception for nearly an hour, while the staff member told us he didn't know what to do. It seems they sold our room, as we were a late arrival and they said they just had a couple turn up before us. They called in the morning to get us to move rooms, saying the room was ready, but then expecting us to leave our bags in the corridor, as it was not ready.

Great location! Near shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops and cafes. Shower was hot and pressure was great. Lovely staff. Rooms were ok. Beds were comfy, duvets were nice. Light beside bed stayed on all night, something was splashed on one wall, and we found a random pill on the floor that didn’t look like it was someone’s prescription. Also put up our “Do Not Disturb” sign as soon as we checked in and twice housekeeping knocked on our door asking if we wanted services, and once, they just unlocked the door and came in unannounced while we were sleeping. All aside, would stay here again. You can’t beat the price or the convenience.

Perfect location for everything we wanted to do. Only issue I had with it is definitely not a place for a single woman to walk back to in the night. Many men that were aggressive lingering around. But the hotel was great and the staff was so helpful and good

Fantastic location, short walk from the main station and you feel like your in the heart of the city centre. Rooms were clean and tidy, staff were very friendly. Breakfast was ok, have had better in most other hotels I've stayed in. The room we had, lacked double or triple glazing. It was very noisy outside form late afternoon til early morning. Then you had the street cleaners going round. Didn't get a great night's sleep on any night of my stay.

Front desk staff was very friendly and professional. Rooms and bathroom were nice and clean and with 4 beds, perfect for our family to stay in one room. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with a great assortment of choices and delicious coffee options and the woman who runs it

Stayed here with my family in a family room bathroom was spotless and modern beds were comfortable and clean room could probably do with a bit of a freshen up but was absolutely fine for our needs. Breakfast was good with a good selection. The location is spot on for everything was very happy for what we paid

I visited to have a quiet few days off trip meeting friends. I realised hotel room was changed from what i originally booked without my notice. The room was noisy as next to main road but also was smelly and was dark! I raised this in morning and i was given another room, from 115 to 137. 137 was nicer but the room again was smaller than what i booked. There was constant issues with door as the key wouldnt work and a colleague helped to recharge and then let me in. I was not even given toothpaste brush any kit? Also no slippers. Upon querying i was handed this on on day. Breakfast also was poor, and the area was not clean. I paid a significant amount and felt it was not at all good or value for money. Im sharing some photos. Also i lost €110 which i complained about during transfer of room but hotel staff couldn't do much. Id like to escalate this and get compensation not just for money lost but also the abysmal experience i had.

Vi var en vennegjeng på konsert-tur med tilsammen 5 rom. Hotellet har perfekt beliggenhet. Renholdet utmerket, sengene gode, frokosten var god og det var god plass i frokostsalen. Man kunne høre litt støy fra feststemte mennesker tidlig på natten, men dette opplevdes ikke som noe problem. To av rommene hadde litt trøbbel med aircondition - ellers var alt i orden.

Front desk staff were super nice and welcoming. They took the time to explain everything. The breakfast was delicious and totally worth it for €12.50. Location was less than 5 min walk from the Central Train Station which was a plus. Room was clean and quiet.

Das Hote ist in einer Gute Lage, das Personal ist Freundlich, aber irgendwie kommunizieren sie nicht miteinander. Der Fußboden ist Teppichboden und wirk nicht zu super sauber aus. Außerdem hatten wir im Zi. ein komischer Abfluss Geruch. Sonst war alles super Nett, das Frühstück war super lecker und ausreichend.

Nice helpful staff, room was sizable and clean. Bathroom was big but there was mould in the shower. They don't allow irons in the room but you can use one in reception which was slightly uncomfortable as I was ironing in front of guests. Overall great location for central, the staff are helpful and I would stay again. Not a terrible place but dated but did the job.

The hotel staff were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating throughout my stay, which I truly appreciated. However, the condition of the carpets in the room and even in the hallway was extremely disappointing. The smell coming from the carpet was awful and very strong, almost like it had not been replaced or properly cleaned for many years. The odor was so bad that it triggered a severe migraine, and I was unable to sleep the whole night. As someone who is asthmatic, I also found the dusty environment and smell very uncomfortable and unhealthy for my chest. The carpets really need to be changed or deeply cleaned because the smell throughout the hallway and room was overwhelming. Unfortunately, this completely affected the quality of my stay despite the good service from the staff.
