Horrible, horrible, horrible. We paid CAD 185 to stay just a few hours in this completely ordinary, run-down motel, only because we needed a stopover on the way from the Okanagan to Alberta. The shower was a disaster. The showerhead was so clogged with calcium deposits that it could only produce a pathetic jet stream. The shower drain was blocked, so after a shower you literally ended up standing in a swimming pool. The bathroom sink was blocked as well. The electrical outlets and appliances are old, yellow and look decades overdue for replacement. The room is full of patches, damaged furniture and stained fabric. Everything looks neglected and worn out. For $185, this was absolutely unacceptable. It had practically every attribute of a motel from hell. We would never stay here again and cannot recommend this place to anyone.

The staff member was helpful. The room was somewhat updated. The shower was a trickle of water. Disappointing!! No hairdryer provided. The bed was comfortable, no coffee maker.

Pretty disappointed. This was a noisy hotel with outdated rooms, and pillows that left me with a headache and sore neck. The whirlpool/sauna were broken too. Not worth the price we paid and overall disappointed.

The Swiss Village is a small, well maintained hotel. The room was spotless and the beds were cozy. A big plus is that it is located more than a block away from the busy highway.
