Convenient location within a short walk to Echo Point and the Three Sisters. Motel style parking at your door is also super convenient. Rooms are not double glazed (I believe) and curtains are more for privacy than warmth. On cold nights the aircon needs to be ramped up to 27 or 28C but the warm air doesn’t quite reach as far as the bed across the smallish room. The room had a couple of items requiring maintenance: broken security latch on door, and missing upper towel rail in bathroom. Also a strange “bed light” above the single bed which had a blindingly powerful LED light globe AND a sticker saying “Don’t try adjusting the light” - so we just turned it off via the almost invisible tiny button above the light. The shower is a convenient walk-in and the water was nice and hot. NB. Breakfast is not available here - but there are plenty of options in Katoomba and Leura. So on balance, a comfortable stay for a night or two.

Tour bus parking parking across the entrance to our room. We had to park our car 2 rooms away. The hot water for a shower was pathetic. 1 person could have a 1 min decent shower and then finish it off with cold water. The second person had to wait an hour to at least experience a similar unpleasant experience. Not good for a motel based in a cold climate area . Unfortunately this detracted from any pleasant experience’s

Parking lines would be of great benefit It would help other patrons to park between lines instead of across or diagonal in 2 spaces. especially when the motel is near capacity. It is comforting to know your vehicle is just outside instead of down the way or out on the street. being winter it was also a bit cold in bed

Fantastic location right beside the 3 sisters viewing area. Staff were excellent. Room comfortable with great air conditioning. Wifi was a bit slow. Great areas to eat and drink close by.

They were remodeling the lobby which will be wonderful when it is done, but the welcome package we got didn't have the wifi password so we were unable to use our phones. There was no one at reception in the late afternoon and we didn't know how to use the television. The room was spotless, clean and comfortable and the next day the receptionist was very helpful!!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Echo Point Motel. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. The staff were very friendly, check in was seamless. We arrived late after reception hours, I received a text with all the prompts to collect our room key. Lots of parking spaces, and very close to the Echo Point lookout and walking trails. Would definitely stay again.

My flights into Sydney changed and I arrived a day later than expected. They didnt make any effort to reimburse my room, even though I gave then the opportunity to resell it. There had been a storm and I was told there was no wifi becuse if it but al the other hotels in the area had wifi. I had to go and do my work in a different hotel during the day.

It was a very easy check-in and in a great location, plus a peaceful overnight stay. The room and linen were clean and the two beds and pillows were very comfortable. The 250ml milk in the fridge was already open, and used, so I was happy that I had brought my own milk. The bathroom was very clean, with good water pressure in the shower, however we ran out of liquid soap within the first minute of use - thank goodness I was prepared. Overall an easy stay conveniently close to Katoomba.

Room and amenities. The room can be cleaner (found many bugs in the first they gave us) and housekeeping service can be better. They only empty the bins and change the floor mat.

The bathroom was filthy. It was old and covered in mould. The room was not the same room as advertised in the photos. When I contacted expedia, they were very helpful to rectify the error. Expedia contacted the owner and moved us to a renovated room.

Better than expected. Was very happy with my clean, refurbished room. Location of the facility was great. Minor gripe is that it was cold in the bathroom. Heated lighting option in bathroom would be great. Didn’t see staff through out my weekend stay however always returned from a day outing to a made-up room. Easy access to door key pick-up and return. Price was good too @$150 per night.

Great place to stay! So close to Echo Point with great views. The room was lovely my only complaint would be the walls are very thin so you hear everything going on around you. Plus there was no insect screens so when opening windows it let insects in. Besides these would recommend and great value. Easy parking too.

My last stay in this motel was at a cold time- simply, they are not prepared for autumn-winter, the temperature outside was -2deg C, and inside in the room was 12 deg C with the whole time AirCon working on heating at 26 deg C. No insulation of walls, 5 mm gap between door and door frame. They do not supply any additional electric blankets or other sources of heating. Do not recommend it to anyone...

Staff are so lovely Staff are very accommodating It was an easy after-hours check in and checkout The shower had good pressure and was nice and hot It had all of the basics that I needed The room was very cold and the heater didn’t really help. It looked like there wa WiFi was terrible - I could only get a weak signal if I sat in a certain place in the room. The tv seemed as though it was hooked up to the terrible WiFi and would freeze more often than not On the last day I went to use the iron but there wasn’t an iron in the cupboard, or an ironing board. To be fair, I didn’t ask for one as I had to leave before reception was open.

I’ve stayed here several times, and have found it to be a good affordable option in a great location. Unfortunately my most recent stay has been very negative. Between 9.30pm and 10.30pm there was very loud noise just outside the room, which could be heard with headphones/music on. The same noise started again at 7am the next morning, and I checked out at 7.45am while the noise was still going. I’ve contacted the hotel to discuss and have had no reply. I called reception three days ago, and was told my messages had been seen and escalated to a supervisor, but I’ve still heard nothing back. Really poor customer service after a very disrupted stay.

Perfect! Weekend away with kids, room is set up well with a queen and 2 singles. Plenty of space. Small fridge and kettle. Nice clean ensuite with great pressure and quick hot water. Perfect location! Short walk to Echo point lookout, 3 sisters. NSW bar across the road, great spot for an afternoon bite and beverage. Staff were also very nice, easy late check in and friendly service. Not a fault.

Close to Echo point, but did not find the staff helpful or welcoming. Particularly no help with luggage especially as we turned up a little early and it felt an inconvenience to them to allow us to leave a bag. Also there is a ridiculous and over long disclaimer to sign before you get the key !

This property met all my requirements. I needed somewhere comfortable, warm and safe where I could get a good night sleep. The bed was very comfortable, everything was clean and lovely. Most importantly, the staff were so kind to me, particularly Jack who took the time to make sure I was ok and had everything I needed and made things right. The location was a bonus, to be able to walk down to the sisters to see sunrise and sunset and reset the day. I will definitely be back with my husband and family soon. Thank you.

Great location to walk to the lookout of the Three Sisters and only an easy 20min walk into town. The Motel has been nicely renovated and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that I missed was sheer curtains so we could open the block out blinds and still have some privacy. However, we enjoyed our stay and will consider coming back.

Very disappointed in the fact it was advertised as having a restaurant and breakfast. No restaurant for dinner and breakfast was somewhere else which is not convenient when you come by train and have limited transport. The room was clean.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation! So well appointed with really lovely touches like nice toiletries and a lounge area. Amazing location, so close to the Three Sisters lookout. It was wonderful to take an evening stroll and view the mountains, spectacular!

THE MOTEL HS BEEN TASTEFULLY REFURBISHED IN A VERY MODERN STYLE AND COLOUR SCHEME. ALSO FREE WIFI AND CONNECTION TO ALL APP SIGHTS ON TV EVEN YOU TUBE. 10 0UT OF TEN. GREAT PLACE TO STAY AS WALKABLE TO THE 3 SISTERS AND OTHER ECHO POINT SHOPS, CAFE ETC.
