The location is one of the biggest highlights — it’s right in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, within walking distance to restaurants, bars, Petco Park, and the waterfront. It made exploring downtown San Diego incredibly convenient. The hostel itself was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The dorm rooms were comfortable, and I appreciated the privacy curtains and secure lockers. The common areas had a welcoming atmosphere, making it easy to meet other travelers from around the world. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always available to answer questions or give local recommendations. I also liked the free unlimited coffee and organized social activities, which added extra value to the stay. Despite being located in a lively area, the hostel was surprisingly quiet at night, making it easy to get good rest.
