Es una propiedad muy bonita, los jardines, muy única, cada área con mucho arte y la ubicación es excelente. Lo único es que debido a la ubicación el estacionamiento es complicado y te cobran 250 pesos por día. El check in fue un poco confuso por que te bajan del carro muy rápido. Y desafortunadamente no recibí los beneficios VIP. El spa estaba cerrado.

The rooms are nice. No elevators you have to use stairs with luggage. The description of the property said they had parking on site and that was a big lie parking lot was about 3 kilometers away and you have to walk back to hotel they do not provide a shuttle from parking lot to hotel.

The staff were extremely friendly. The bed was very comfortable. My one comment would be that breakfast at the hotel was far too expensive. We had coffee, fruit and eggs and it was $56.00 Canadian. The food was fine, but it is just breakfast. We only ate breakfast once at the hotel. There are a number of stairs throughout the hotel which can be difficult for people with mobility issues.

El hotel es hermoso con patios y jardines del estilo colonial de San Miguel de Allende. El cuarto penguica esta pegado al restaurante entonces es poco ruidoso. La ubicacion es muy buena a dos cuadras del centro. El estacionamiento es complicado ya que no hay en el hotel, se llevan tu auto a alguno cercano por $250 la noche.

Not worth the rate. Disappointing stay. The property was beautiful and the neighborhood was gorgeous and very walkable but the service, room cleanliness, and restaurant were very disappointing for the rate paid. I usually only write positive reviews but given the experience and lack of response from the hotel I felt it fair to share this feedback. Here are my main 4 #1 We found insects in the bed on the first day. My wife awoke with bug bites when zoomed with a macro lens you can tell they are bugs I gathered some and took them to the chief of front desk. The water in the shower didn’t drain well and the shower floor wasn’t that clean. #2 We also had two negative experiences at the restaurant. The service was very slow even though there was only 1 other couple. The 2nd visit for breakfast we wait 20 minutes with no one taking our order or offer coffee. We left to another hotel restaurant, which with the same amount of people on staff attended to us promptly. 3. When we walked back into the hotel, three employees in a row were looking down on their phone as we walked through, they did not welcome or greet us, just kept their heads in their phone. #4. On the first day I had requested for our TV to be fixed as the network option is not working. A team member came to the room and said they would send someone else to fix. We waited one hour we went down to the front desk to let them know that we were leaving, we were requested to send someone. They never did.

La habitación amplia y cómoda al igual que el baño con tina, solo que tuve piquetes de araña en las dos noches. Tome el masaje y las chicas preparadas, pero nada especial. El desayuno dejo que mucho que desear, caro y sin mayor chiste, el café me generó náusea, no lo recomiendo, es mejor salir a tomar café afuera, hay excelentes cafés en la zona

The rooms assigned to Expedia bookings are not the best available. We travelled with a group - 5 rooms. Some rooms did not even have any windows. Toilets did not flush properly or did not flush at all for some. And the management did not help in terms of providing alternate room (for one couple). They had to book on their own. Location is excellent though. However, I’d call before booking and ask for patio, rooms with windows, larger rooms, rooms not close to common areas.

Everything was super clean and nicely decorated. We stayed in the "Silpasuchil" room that is right next to reception area. We could literally hear every conversation every movement that was happening on the other side of the wall and I am sure they could also hear us. Our room had no window and no hot water. The last night we were there the AC unit broke at 1:00am and I called reception because it was getting really hard to breath in there. They moved us to another room, just for the night and that\'s when I realized that all other rooms were so much nicer, bigger and rooms actually had windows and hot water! I feel like they gave us the service room.

A male staff worker entered our room at 6:30 am for no reason without announcing himself! It completely startled us an left us uneasy for the remainder of the stay. When we asked for an explanation, we were told that they had we had left. I would not recommend this place.

I am extremely upset about what happened at this hotel. I booked based on the info and pictures presented on Expedia. I booked the best suite (Grand Master Suite), but the room we got looked nothing like the pictures on the website. This is downright fraud to advertise something then deliver something completely different. Bait and switch is what that is. I asked the front desk to give us the room I booked but was told the hotel was completely full. There was no way I was going to stay in a room that was worse than a 1-star motel. So I booked a different property (through Expedia) and asked them to refund me. The manager called and told me she would give me a full refund. She told me to have Expedia contact her so that she can process it. But then she changed her mind several minutes later and refused to give me a refund. This is completely unethical and unjust. We stayed there for just 14 hours and left because we didn't get the room we paid for. The right thing to do is issue me a refund for this awful experience. I'm absolutely upset and disappointed with Expedia and this hotel for causing so much stress on my vacation.

Trying to be honest with this review. The hotel itself is charming, the restaurant and bar staff are exceptional, the doormen and bellmen are amazing however the front staff our awful and quite frankly unacceptable. It is unacceptable to walk up to a front desk and have the person look at you, not even smile and ignore you. This happened every time we went to the front desk. The acted like we were annoying them. For this simple fact we will not be returning....ever. Additionally the room I reserved was not the room I received based on the front desk experience I chose to not complain knowing I would never return. The rooms are charming, the AC took 12 hours to cool off the room. The bathrooms were spacious and great water pressure. The restaurant food is great, the ambiance is perfection.

Excellent facilities and service at Hacienda El Santuario. The hotel is beautiful comfortable, only steps from the central square and the staff were great. Shout out to Daniel at reception, Luis at the bar and Cristina at the restaurant for making us feel at home. I highly recommend staying here. You won't regret it!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of San Miguel. It was a perfect location that allowed us to walk to all of the festivities while also being far enough away from the plaza to be restful and quiet. Their courtyard and gardens are so lovely that you almost don't want to leave the hotel.

Only food that was acceptable was fresh fruits... Unfortunately, due to location, we were a captive audience since there were no restaurants nearby.
