Yo muy bien el único inconveniente es que no cuentan con estacionamiento y no se puede no se puede estacionar enfrente del hotel a bajar tu equipaje y el estacionamiento más cercano está un poco retirado para caminar con tu equipaje

Nice hotel and upper restaurant! Dont like the traffic of people from the bar upstairs.

Al llegar, estaba lloviendo. Por el horario (después de las 10am no se ingresa a la puerta, se queda a media cuadra, de inmediato aparece el transito. No se ofrecieron a ayudar a traer las maletas, ni ofrecieron un paraguas así que me moje por traerlas. Ofrecen estacionamiento y lo que te venden es un paquete con un tercero 500 pesos por día, vienen por el vehículo y se lo llevan a guarda en una pensión. SI necesitas sacarlo, te cobran después de la segunda salida. En el baño, no funcionaba la luz del tocador y para rasurarte o arreglarte la cara no tienes luz. El pasillo tiene la tapa rota y huele mucho a drenaje. todo lo demás bien.

Supuestamente mi habitación tenía una vista a la ciudad, pero la vista que tenía era muy poco atractiva, esta super caliente la habitación y no tenían aire acondicionado, solo un pequeño ventilador, no tienen estacionamiento y el servicio de valet parking que ofrecen es alguien fuera del hotel, no está mal pero estuve esperando alrededor de 20 minutos en el lugar de recogida y estuve hablando al hotel durante esos minutos y no contestaban

La propiedad muy linda y la recamara super bien!! Algunos problemas con el agua de la regadera, la enciendes y sale bastante para el piso . Sobre el parking, te dicen que en 20 min llega tu carro y tardan 40, nunca contestan los WhatsApp para avisar sobre el vehículo..

No a/c or heating. Room was very clean. Service was great. Unfortunately we got stuck in the room behind the bar and there was lots of noise. We were on the first floor but just keep in mind there is no elevator for heavy luggage.

The room was spacious and bed comfortable but the bathroom needed a bit of repair. Shower was pretty bad. View from ground floor room was also bad, but the rooms on higher floors had good views. Be aware that it has steep steps and no lift if you have large bags. Our room wasn’t serviced over the 3 nights. Generally service was average. The main plus of this hotel is location. Right in the heart of town (again, if you have large bags be aware you have to walk a short distance as cars cannot drive up to the hotel).

Selina has an incredible rooftop bar and restaurant with spectacular views and incredible service.

The hotel was immaculately clean with staff constantly maintaining the rooms and surrounding areas. The rooftop views were precious and provided the best view of the city. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive.

Las sabanas estaban sucias, pedi que las cambiaran y lo hicieron de inmediato.

I’ve stayed at other Selinas and this one is very low quality compared to the others. The staff that received us was rude and unwilling to help us. The room wasn’t very clean.

La habitación tenía poca privacidad. Aunque tenía cortinas, dejaba espacios donde se podía ver desde afuera. Demasiado incómodo. Se sentía sucia, como con mucho polvo. El colchón era de calidad muy baja y los muebles nada cómodos para una estancia mas prolongada. Realmente lo único que tienen de valor es la ubicación privilegiada, pero no me volvería a quedar

Stayed in the Deluxe room, which is specious, but very dark (no windows). Most rooms have no windows and therefore very dark. Style is minimalistic so it's not cozy dark. Bathroom and shower had a humidity smell with a hint of sewage. The hotel has a nice rooftop and perfect location, but i don't think I would stay here again.

Although property is listed as not having air conditioning in the rooms, the windows couldn’t be opened, and the fan was not enough to keep cool due to humidity. Should consider adding mini split to rooms

Had really bas sleeping by staying at this place. No curtains so light got in the room every early morning. Also no AC and San Miguel is a warm place.

This is the first time visiting Selena hotel and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed. I would definitely recommend this hotel since it’s right next to many points of interest in San Miguel de Allende. I would like to mention that Janette in reception was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and easy to communicate with.

Excellent location, friendly staff, however extremely loud music playing at the restaurant/bar downstairs - with no patrons - until midnight all 3 night. Expect noise being so central, but the volume of the music was completely unacceptable.

The hotel is located in the heart of San Miguel de Allende, the location is amazing, hotel itself is beautiful however both days we stayed there was a lack of running water, some rooms do not have a window or ac and the rooms are very humid. If you a claustrophobic I would recommend a different hotel.

The room was absolutely wonderful. A bit loud at night but that is ok. The restaurant on the rooftop was majestic, although a bit pricey even for San Miguel’s standards. The one thing that I would say was weird was the following. I arrived to the hotel early after an overnight flight and the person at the front desk told me they had the room ready but would only allow me to check in early if I gave them a 5 stars review on Google. And she stood there until I did. I understand that they want to increase their ratings but that felt a bit coercive. It may also be just that one employee who misunderstood the manager’s orders.

If you get lucky and get the balcony rooms you get to open up the doors to the balcony and let the fresh air in. These rooms have no AC. Rooms are hot,humid,stagnant no air circulation. There are these rooms that are the “basement rooms” now I know why they call them that form other reviews. Those are 4 concrete walls no windows. There plumbing is not the greatest and so all the sewage smell surrounds you. The shower heads are terrible they spray water everywhere but your body! I don’t think it’s too expensive to change them out. Bathrooms need much much upgrading as their ventilation for the rooms and an exhaust for the sewage smell. The Hotel itself is good the lobby, foyer it’s open in the middle so pretty. Even the rooftop is nice. But because of the rooms I will not be going back to it.

I attempted to cancel the booking they confirmed could be canceled but never did. Here I am back from my trip, on the phone with my back attempting to get reimbursed for the money I was charged. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of anyone at this hotel. They have a phone that goes to voicemail and eventually the voicemail was full. I left several voicemails and never heard back from them. We communicated through the chat on the Expedia app which I luckily have screenshots of. If you book and want to cancel be ready to get ignored.

I was greeted amiably when I first arrived. This is a good thing since I arrived later in the evening after a long journey to Mexico. The staff member seemed to understand that I was tired and she showed me to my room and showed me how the key worked. During my stay, the woman who cleaned my room was very personable. She would see me outside of my room, sitting in the sun, and would always ask if it were convenient to clean my room at that time. She was quick but efficient. I loved the bed with its numerous sheets. I never felt cold. I enjoyed the presence of the cat and dog who added charm to the facility. On leaving day, the staff not only helped me arrange for a private taxi to the airport, they also helped me move my luggage to the waiting taxi. On top of all of this, the hotel is a short walk to the jardin principal. Bonus! The reasons I did not shade in a 5th star: (1) the shower had no pressure and the water was not very hot; and (2) the room let in a lot of noise in the evening from people partying. I usually sleep well through noise but the staff might take note of this in case they have some guests who sleep lightly.

The Property was great. Edgard the front service guy was horrible. He always had an attitude.

The front desk staff seems absolutely miserable and annoyed if you ask for the bathroom key or a 2nd room key. The room was fantastic and the location is excellent. However the hot water takes 6-15 minutes to get hot and all of our attempts to cover the shower drain due to horrible smells were unsuccessful. And again, the front desk staff is really terrible. I hate even having to write that! We also had to flush our toilet 15+ times to clear it so we just went up to the rooftop bar bathrooms to go. Those toilets seem to work fine and we were not putting paper in the toilets.

The property is in a great location that is why we picked it but the staff was not helpful at all we were given the wrong room and they had given our room to a different couple and had us switch. This place ask you to call 20 min before for valet parking but they never answer. My room had broken windows and very poor water pressure was hard to even flush the toilet

We had a great stay at Selina. It’s an older property right in the heart of historic down town next to the main church the Parroquia and El Jardín ( Central Park). It’s not fancy, but we had everything we needed. There are some negative reviews here, but our stay was very pleasant. The room was a good size, clean, with a high ceiling, a cute little balcony facing the cathedral, large closet, desk, and a fan. The bed was comfy, housekeeping was on point, we always had fresh, clean linens, towels, and bottled water! Shower had a good water pressure and hot water, no problems with the bathroom. We had a small service dog with us and it was fine. The hotel has a rooftop bar with a nice view, good drinks and food, and they greet you with a free welcome cocktail! Downstairs in the courtyard is a small coffee shop and you can get snacks there. Overall, location was making up for everything! You don’t need a car because you can walk to everything, and if you need to go somewhere out of town, Uber is very cheap! We would def stay there again!

The hotel was located in a great area! Super close to everything in el Centro de San Miguel de Allende. Staff was nice and held our luggage and even let us check in early. The room was average nothing fancy standard room. This hotel does not have AC, nor room service, nor complimentary breakfast, nor common areas/amenities for guest to enjoy. So that was kind of the downside to things, but there is a bar located inside and a roof top restaurant both convenient on rainy days.

The Selina Hotel is the perfect central location. The hotel and rooftop are gorgeous -- beautiful rooms, courtyard, terrace and delicious food and drinks. We received a complementary welcome drink on arrival which was very nice. When I asked the front desk about valet, I was told they don't offer that service and she directed me to a parking lot on a close by street. That parking lot cost ~$100/day to park -- WAY too expensive. When we went back to the front desk and asked about this again, she said they do have a guy who can meet us to park the car and return it when needed for ~MX$800 for the weekend (much better). I wondered why this wasn't shared as an option upfront. My only other qualms are that the shower did not work well - we were told to let it run for 15 min to get hot water, a waste of water and it didn't get that hot. Also the showerhead needed to be replaced or have a deep clean because it was spraying in every direction. The toilet was not flushing well and discovered I had to turn the water on to flush properly until it stopped working again... Lastly, the pillows were packed so tight, our necks were sore after the first night. We then discovered you could unfluff them a bit for a flatter more comfortable sleeping pillow. It's an old building, so somethings are to be expected with plumbing but for such a nice hotel, these are small easy fixes with the shower, toilet, and pillows. P.S. our room had a fan and wall AC unit

good location, next to the diego rivera museum. the breakfast was included in our reservation. i understand bigger tips are expected from foreigners, and one waiter was not happy of a couple of bucks, so he stopped us on the way out and charged us for an item on the menu. it's no big deal, just cracked me up. we gave them more the next day. take care of these guys, i know its a tough living. overall, experience, i would book again! nice ambiance....
