In town visiting for a family wedding. We booked roughly 12 rooms and everyone loved the hotel. Clean nice staff. Only down fall was the seating area with firepit outside was not operating. After the wedding we had plans to enjoy the space and couldnt.

I enjoyed my stay at this pet friendly establishment. The staff was extremely welcoming and professional and the room was clean, with the exception that housekeeping forgot to empty the wastebasket under the kitchen sink. I like the convenience of the setup with dishes, silverware, glasses and cookware already for you to prepare a quick meal using their modern appliances. A large park is within a few blocks... spent mornings and evenings walking my dog in that park. Very nice area.

Cons: There was a lack of mirrors to get ready. Lighting in the room was bad, if you wanted the blinds closed for privacy. The decor in the rooms was drab and needed updating-1970s style curtain for the closet. The elevator broke on our last morning. We likely will not book again because of the thin walls. We could hear the tv next door and people walking down the hall.

So frustrating that the pool was closed. When you have children that have been waiting and looking forward to swimming and we finally arrive to find the pool closed. That was part of the reason for choosing this hotel.

I'll start off by saying that this is a really nice looking, newer hotel and our room for the most part was great. But the hotel had a higher price tag so we expected a little more. The elevator wasnt working for most of our stay, forcing us to use the stairs which were very dirty and littered. The pool was very, very cold and the towels were almost always empty. Several times when we needed something from someone at the front desk, noone was there. Just an okay stay.

My stay at this hotel was awful, I couldn’t even stay on the last day, my migraines got So Bad that I was physically sick and had to check out the day early. The hotel allowed kids to run and jump through the halls and rooms of this third floor they put us on from 8 am until 11:15. Each day. Nothing was done. Our hotel room had a strangers fake nails that were tore off and on the floor of the beds frame; That was the first cleanliness issue. I almost complained but didn’t. The bases of everything were dirty, drawers had specs and dirt; even the utensil drawer, the dishes were dirty as well as the fridge. Even our bathroom door was improperly functional; when you open or close it made an Extremely Loud screeching noise. I suffered the entire stay. The pool was Cold, I enjoyed the big bed and the big bed only, I could have had a better stay at home. That was Ridiculous. I want a refund and to be contacted properly on this stay. I have a video of the door, I have a video of me sitting in pain. Contact me directly.

Very nice staff. Breakfast was great. The staff stated that they were short housekeepers. The bathroom needed more attention. Hair noticed on the floor and shower area. Toilet seat was stained.

I would love to give this hotel a great rating, however upon entering our room the toilet had a wad of toilet paper in it and it was clogged. This tells me the toilet was not properly cleaned before we checked in. We called down to the desk and were first told they would send someone up to fix it. An hour passed and no one showed up, so we called again and were told that maintenance had gone home for the day, and we could either switch rooms to a king room vs our queen room with two beds and no credit or come get a plunger and unclog it ourselves. I was very upset by this and would give it a one-star rating if the room itself wasn't as comfy and clean as it was, and we didn't have great service upon check in. The breakfast was also pretty well. We just stayed one night, so used the bathroom in the lobby for the most part when needed. Additionally, while hanging out in the lobby, we heard a couple other guests complain about their toilets being clogged, so I wondered if it was just a disgruntle employee that clogged them purposely. Especially since everything else appeared very clean and in order.

We will now ALWAYS stay here when we visit our daughter. It was so awesome. They thought of everything, Easy-to-reach electric and USB charging next to each side of the bed. The ability to sign in to our Netflix, etc. Ingenious things like an additional table under another table, to pull out and use. We just kept finding new, cool things! Highly recommend!

The room was clean and spacious, but the tv quit working and I asked for the maintenance person to fix, or change out the tv. The person at the desk assured me they would get the problem fixed. When I got to my room that evening, nothing was touched so I went back to the front desk. The desk person tried to fix the issue but couldn’t, so all she said she could do was put me in a different room, even though I asked if they could just switch out the tv instead of making me move to a different room. So I packed up everything and went to the new room, unpacked everything only to find there wasn’t a shower curtain in the bathroom, so I couldn’t take a shower. I called the front desk again and they said I could go into my old room to shower. Again I asked why couldn’t we just swap out the tv’s since they couldn’t rent out either room as is. They said they couldn’t do that. I called the hotel that afternoon to see if they had put on a shower curtain and they had not. The person at the front desk said they would try to find one. So that evening when I got to the room I asked if they fixed the tv and if I could have my old room back and they said it was already rented out. Needless to say I am not happy about any of this!

Booked a king size suite. Arrive and told I’m getting a double queen. Ask why told by staff some other people extended their stay they get priority. Oh ok guess guests that book and pay are 2nd rate. Well heres a priority wake up for you my money spends just as good somewhere else will never stay at another Home 2 Suites or any Hilton Hotel for that matter. Was offer a cooler drink or snack to make up for the difference. I paid for a king room and got a double queen.

Stay was great overall BUT 2 things that so play a role in my overall survey rating are 1) We came back to our room after the first night’s stay and towels were not removed/replaced with new; beds were not made; trash not emptied. 2) We had a very early flight so had to checkout at 3:30 am. I wanted a receipt for the stay but was told by the girl at the desk “It’s 3:30 in the morning, I can’t get into the system until 7:00 am… We can email the receipt”. What? It’s 2024 for God’s sakes. She should have been able to access the computer and print the receipt right then and there. Granted these are not life threatening issues but nonetheless are still areas that played a role in the overall review. We enjoyed the hotel, staff, grounds, etc. as a whole and would definitely stay again.

So far, our stay has been PHENOMENAL! I unfortunately had to have an emergency surgery recently and our travel plans had to change drastically. The managers, and especially Cyan have been above the moon accommodating, and have gone above and beyond for us thus far! The hotel is super clean and pristine! Enormous thank you to the staff!!!

Only rated the property less than 5 stars because the guest in the neighboring room blasted his television while he had apparently fallen asleep. It took over 2 hours to get it taken care of. Well past midnight. Otherwise we loved this property and its proximity to Ann Arbor.
