We had a superb stay at Hotel Grand Bach. We had a fabulous corner room, spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. We also benefitted from the free drinks package and other perks associated with the corner room. The location couldn’t have been better for us too, in the heart of things. The staff were very accommodating and arranged the transport of our cases to our next destination in Kyoto, they were in our room when we checked in 24 hours later - superb!

Excellent service. In the middle of lively shopping district. While busy location is pleasant and convenient. Hotel has contracted a gym nearby which is for additional small fee, but it is excellent. The have self-playing piano in the lobby.

It was a great location and well appointed hotel for the price. The only thing was that my room didn’t get cleaned and when I asked it to be cleaned it still wasn’t. A lady from the reception came up to verify that it hadn’t been cleaned took pictures but never heard about a solution or offer for the inconvenience. Other than that. A great experience

Great property, friendly staff, clean and spacious room. Stayed 5 days in room 1203. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars due to strong lingering mildew smell from shower/bath area. I made staff aware when we first arrived but ultimately nothing could eliminate the odor. They did provide an option to switch rooms but it was smaller with poor view.

Central Ginza area is great for a first trip to Tokyo. Easy to get to most sites. 6 nights in this hotel. Upgraded to a corner suite. Included complimentary bar and evening drinks which was nice. We were on 5th floor which was a bit noisy with traffic. Should have asked for higher. Otherwise a great hotel.

We really enjoyed our time here. We stayed in a triple room, and it was spacious for Tokyo standards. The room and the rest of the property were also very clean and there was a decent breakfast each morning (extra charge when booking). We also enjoyed the location, it is very near Higashi Ginza station which provides direct access to Haneda, is very close to all of the shopping in Ginza and is centrally located for easy access to all the areas of the city that you may want to explore.

Everything was great and I would have given 5 stars across the board if not for air conditioning issues. Had 2 rooms for us and the kids and had to call every night due to heat. The AC was on some type of setback and the room would get really warm every night.

The atmosphere at the Grand Bach is exquisite. One evening as we came in from dinner we were treated to a wonderful harp performance in the lobby, as the hotel was celebrating Bach’s birthday. We especially want to draw attention to Chen at the front desk! We accidentally left passports behind earlier in the day, and they were in Osaka! Chen was so helpful with the recovery when she contacted the Starbucks in Osaka and located the passports. She was also very helpful in making the arrangements to travel back and recover them!

The service at this hotel was the worst of anywhere we travelled in Asia. We arrived late due to flight delays with 2 young children and were not even greeted with a hello or a smile. Numerous emails were sent to the hotel with little to no response. The location of the hotel is great and the rooms and the condition of the hotel were very good but the staff is little to no help and are very rude.

In addition, the staff downstairs did not seem as friendly as the staff upstairs. A warmer welcome and more positive attitude would make the experience much better.

Great location to walk to Tsukiji market and all the great shopping and eating areas in Ginza. Very very nice upscale hotel. My wife needed a last-minute haircut and Tanaka, the concierge, got on the phone and found the perfect place nearby. My wife was so happy. Amazing service, amazing location, amazing hotel. If you need to stay in Ginza, this is the place!

Everything was fantastic, except the check-in. We arrived 1 hour before check in and they told me our room wasn't ready. 2 minutes later, came to me and said they could make it ready for a fee. Terrible customer service.

The staff at the Grand Bach are top notch! Very helpful and attentive. Made check-in, check-out and transporting luggage very easy. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is close to many different train stations so you can easily navigate around Tokyo. The music element of the hotel is a nice touch.

Excellent location within 5 minutes walk of major retailers, both designer shops and UniQuo and Mitsukoshi. Hotel rooms are very spacious and have lovely clean contemporary design. Blackout and privacy blinds are automated for convenience. Lobby is on Second floor but it’s not an issue. The lounge is a bit bright which lessens its appeal. if breakfast is included in your rate, the 3 options are adequate and filling. I would recommend without reservation to guests who want quality, service, location in a contemporary package.

Great location in Ginza. Easily walkable to shops and restaurants and the Tsukiji market. Close to Ginza metro stop. Hotel was quiet, nice clean rooms with the best Toto Japanese toilet we used during our stay in Japan. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Location is excellent, our room nicely laid out, with general standards, room is not big but it was a good size for Japanese hotels. Staff were very polite and helpful and hotel was overall very clean. The only downside was the breakfast which is served out of a small cafe on the first floor which feels cramped and options are limited.

Quite spacious room for Japanese standards. Easily accomodated 2 adults and 2 children. Very friendly and helpful staff. Large windows overlooking the city with excellent automatic black out blinds. Very comfortable bed with duvet. Location is very convenient and close to shopping and transit. Breakfast was delicious but selection is somewhat limited. Fruit (strawberries, pineapple, and kiwi) was very ripe and delicious. Plenty of included room amenities such as skin care, pajamas, robes, slippers, dental kit.

The only great thing about this hotel is that the rooms are spacious, very clean and shower is great! Location is great and walkable to a lot around Ginza. Staff is not very warm. Did not feel welcomed here. The bar is okay, food is not very good and the breakfast buffet offered is a joke. The price of the hotel does not match the amenities offered.
