Room was beautiful and comfortable. Food was amazing! People were friendly. Loved spending my wedding anniversary in this hotel in the swim up pool! Beach was okay but this time of the year it’s always dirty.. but overall I give this hotel a 10/10! Will definitely go back again!

One of the lowest class all inclusive I have ever stayed at … they sell day passes to local people that just crowd the area… pools were dirty full of hair and very cloudy … food was just ok the Buffett super dirty and busy… the 24 hr snack bar all four days that I stayed was the same food no variety at all … will not stay there again … not much in property parking had to park at another lot that was quite a distance to the hotel … they have many restaurants but not all of them are open everyday only three are open … and you have to be right at 9 am doing reservation if not five minutes later there is nothing available to reserve

We were two American women staying at the hotel for two nights following a mission trip. Honestly, we pretty much felt ignored by the staff. Most of the staff were quite rude, actually. The two people who made us feel welcome were Juan the bellman and Domingo a server. There was another bartender at the main pool who was friendly. We paid more for the VIP rooms, which basically did nothing for us. In our room we had a broken outlet next to the bed, and the telephone didn’t work at all. Housekeeping was minimal. We went to the specialty dining one night , which was the Mexican restaurant. We asked for drinks twice, but never received them. Food in the buffet was plentiful but average. On our second night we chose to venture out of the hotel and found a lovely beach club to dine at. Those Dominicans were so sweet and welcoming. We wish the staff at Emotions could have been the same. I will say them at the beaches were BEAUTIFUL . We enjoyed shelling and swimming.
