Overall it was a good stay. We took a small family trip. Was very disappointed with the pool. That was the one thing the kids were looking forward to. They chose a weekend to “shock the main pool” so it was closed. The hot tub, and baby pool were open, but as a result of the main pool being closed on a weekend, the baby pool and hot tub were filled with people of all ages. A week day would have been the wise choice to do routine pool work as the weekends are the busy days. We were called minutes before check-in to advise us that the main pool was closed. But it was too late to find another room.

The room and bathroom were very clean. I am pretty picky about cleanliness and rarely give 5 stars in this area but they truly deserve it. Everything was updated so there were usb and c outlets on the bed and lamps. Decorating was modern and tasteful. Again everything felt clean and new. We did use the weight room and hot tub. Both were clean and kept up. They have a kiddie pool with a rain tree that would be great for young kids. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve seen. Delicious coffee (I’m picky), pancakes, cinnamon rolls, 2 kinds of omelets (cheese and veggie) biscuits and gravy, and several varieties of bagels. I would def stay here again!

Check in was excellent, super easy. Property is beautiful. However, the pool area is over chlorinated. My eyes were watering and I could feel the fumes in my lungs. Pool area is beautiful though. Wish we could have enjoyed it more.

Overall it's a nice hotel , but like all the other hotels with a quote heated pool that we stayed at over the course of our trip the pool wasn't really heated but bed was comfortable breakfast was very good

I was less than impressed. I booked this hotel in particular because of the kiddie pool. It was nice, but it was freezing cold and i couldnt let my small son swim for more than 5 mins before his lips were turning blue from being so cold. Bringing my son somewhere to swim for his first time was the sole purpose of the trip. Also the railings in the halls were held on wth glue and tape. There was a hole that was half way fixed in the bathroom above the shower and the sheets had someone elses hair and crumbs all over it. For the price of the room i was not impressed. I booked the hotel for 2 nights and didnt even stay the second night because i was so disappointed and grossed out by the sheets. Ihave never had issues staying at a holiday inn before so this was unexpected and a waste of a trip.

We stayed for 2 nights at this property. The staff are great and the breakfast buffet is good! The problems we have are the noise and beds. First night, around 11:30pm, there were a couple who were fighting in the hallway then around 3am, someone hit our door pretty hard. Second night, I thought my husband was snoring but it was actually coming from the other room. So when you stay here, either get a top floor room or expect a lot of random noises. Regarding the beds, we got the king size bed suite with the pull out couch. The bed was not as comfortable as we thought but doable. However, the pull out couch, that needs to be toss out because you can feel all the springs in that pull out bed or they should put like a very thick topper to make it comfortable. Otherwise, the staff are very friendly, my kids had so much fun at the pool and their hot tub is hot not luke warm, which is great!

The only inconvenience was that the room details stated it slept 6 with 2 queens & a pull out sofa. However, the pull out sofa was a very small single bed-only big enough for 1 child.

The entire stay was great. We were greeted very nicely, check in was quick, and the room was clean and welcoming. One of the best things was the VERY COMFORTABLE mattress and pillows. Both of us slept better here than any other motel for months. In fact, I wish I could buy some of those pillows. The breakfast was great, and the food service attendees were friendly and on the ball. Will stay here every time we are in Sioux Falls.

Room we were assigned to was right next to the stairwell/exit, was very noisey. Room lacked lighting. The chair at the desk was straight out of the 70s. But comfortable and clean bed.

We were coming into town for 4:00 wedding and needed an early check in. The front desk was super friendly. When we checked in, she even remembered the reason for our visit. There was construction and that is being managed very well without inconvenience to the guests.

When we needed to extend our stay for another night due to the weather, even though we had booked online, the hotel staff helped us and even gave us a slight discount on the second night (a Saturday) to match the rate for the first night. We were attending a family funeral, and their help relieved a lot of stress for us. Have stayed several times before and will continue to do so.
