I thought this was an amazing hotel. The only thing that had me give it one less star was the fact that we did choose this over others because of the pool, deck and workout center and they were all under construction and I didn't see that posted when we booked it. The only other thing that was a kicker is I arranged this trip through Expedia and it said free parking and there was an $18 fee a day but they did help accommodate me for that due to the issue with the construction that I brought to their attention. Overall, I really loved this place. The design, layout and the rooms were amazing and modern. It's probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in.

Check in process was quick and easy. Attached public parking garage so left my vehicle there for 23 hrs and it only cost $15 so thankful for that. Room was clean and spacious. Pool was small but large pool deck with cabanas. Stunning mountain views from the pool. Cute little inside bar with live music and good food. Great experience. Would def stay here again.

Loved this Aloft!! Stylish, cool decor and layout, lovely rooftop outdoor pool was a major bonus! Good snack shop/cafe counter, great location and loved the upstairs patio overlooking Biltmore Ave-felt like we were in the best part of town, and we really loved our hotel stay!!

So dog friendly and convenient to downtown Asheville. The place is clean and a good value for the $$ What we didn’t like is the pool. Not nearly enough lounge chairs. You should get rid of the cabanas on the one side inside the fence and put out more loungers for the regular guests. Also, the pool is a bit small for the number of rooms you have. But, too late to fix that.

It is an amazing hotel! Great location and amenities. We WERE pretty disappointed that their pool and pool bar were closed in the middle of the summer with no advanced notice until 24 hours before. The pool was a big part of why we booked.

Everything was excellent except…..,,Pool and fitness center were closed. Upgrades looked like a ways off. I would be shocked if ready by Memorial Day weekend. The “2nd floor” area of bar, outside rooftop (with fire places and fire pits) and Starbucks shop were awesome. Located within a 5 or 6 block walk to many restaurants, bars and shopping.

The hotel is beautiful and in a good location with easy parking. When we got to our room there were a lot of crumbs on the window sill and the shampoo in the shower was empty. Our first day there was a fire alarm. When we tried to exit the building there was a homeless man asleep infront of the door which delayed our exit. The second day the landline phone started beeping at 4:30am. The cordless receiver was not charging. I checked all connections and plugs and could not get the beeping to stop. There were a few things that could be approved upon and I really wish I could have given 5 stars.

I would not stay at this property again. The Seating areas in the lobby were awful, not only covered with dog hair but dirty The yellow chairs were particularly dirty. I can send you a picture if you are unaware. Not a great first impression at all . my room 523 smelled musty and like wet dog. Shower was not clean and one of our rooms still had dirty garbage in the trash can. We were made aware in advance about the Parking issues, but was unaware that the pool would not be available the whole time we were there which was one of the reasons we booked the hotel. No discount was offered or even an apology that we We’re not informed.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Aloft and would pick it again in future trips. PROS Clean, views of the city and mountains, friendly staff, great choices for breakfast, great location, great water pressure in the shower CONS Our room was on a busy street and it was loud at night, parking deck was tight omg, bedding was so thin it was basically like two top sheets, you could see hallway light coming in from the gap under the door Pros outweighed cons though and we would stay here again ☺️

The desk staff was excellent! Our check in was painless, and the staff were total pros. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the hotel was centrally located making walking to restaurants and venues easy. Avoid "city view" rooms on weekends, because traffic noise is real.

We ended up in a beautiful mountain view room! We'd expected a city view. Check in was seamless, parking in the attached garage was more convenient than anywhere we've ever stayed. There was a neat little snack bar with coffee and simple sandwiches. My coffee wasn't great but my husband liked his. We didn't use the pool but there is access from the third floor. The pool area looked very nice. The room was comfortable and clean. The carpet is a little worn throughout the hotel. It's showing its age a little. But overall a really nice and convenient place to stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will stay at Aloft Asheville again. This is the perfect hotel if you are seeing a show at the Orange Peel. It's literally steps away.

Our pros for the property are: modern vibe, very comfortable bed, wonderful gym, great pool area, super convenient location; cons - room storage is limited, so it's best to travel light. Bonus: We enjoyed a delicious breakfast across the street at the Middle Eastern restaurant.

The room doors had 1 inch openings which allowed noises from the hallway sound like they were in the room. Also the clock in my room had an alarm go off three times while I was sleeping. Even after it was unplugged, it went off once. As a result, it was extremely difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The type room we had reserved wasn’t available, and the hotel upgraded us to a suite! That kind of service will definitely make us stay at Aloft again. This is not terribly important, but it was very nice to have a decent coffee maker and plenty of coffee, cream, different sweeteners, etc. In the room.

Hotel staff was nonchalant about informing guests about the room and hallways being carpet cleaned. No information was available outside of a letter stating that the cleaning was to occur on a 1 day notice. Further inquiries were deflected with an answer of "I don't know". Personal effort was required by this guest to exempt our room from the carpet cleaning by seeking an audience with the General Manager. No assistance or follow up by the hotel front desk

I’ve stayed at this Aloft location 3 times and every stay has been great. The location is great. You can walk to great restaurants and bars as well as shops. The staff is great. Very friendly and helpful.

Even though there was construction during our stay, the hotel staff tried to make the stay pleasant. They put us on a higher floor away from the noise and gave us drink vouchers for the bar. Bar staff was very nice.

Front desk staff upon checking in were not helpful or friendly. Terrible experience with bartender. Room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the pool and view from the pool. The guy working at checkout time was super friendly and that was nice after our poor experience with the other staff.

Amazing Stay ;) I had an issue the day I Checked in with a guy who asked me for Money as I was walking inside to Check in ( I had bags in my hands & My dog on a Leash ) . I told him I had NO cash but he told me well there is an ATM Inside ??Ugh …I ignored him & Went inside . Later on I was at the bar Ordered a drink & Food when I heard someone Saying Hello to me I turned around & Saw it was that same guy ? He sat at the bar next to me & Asked the Bartender for a Glass of Water but I couldn’t tell the bartender what was going on in front of him . I was Very uncomfortable to Say the least l He then Asked the bartender for the bathroom . When he walked Away I told him what happened & That I didn’t feel safe ! Bartender asked him to leave . When I went outside about an hour later to walk my dog he was waiting for me Outside ??I ran back inside the Hotel . As a Solo traveler & A Female I didn’t feel safe . Besides this incident My room was Very clean & I enjoyed my Stay ;)

Every night there was loud construction noise on the street which kept us up all night. We know you don't control that, but it was very disruptive! We had to walk past a number of homeless people when we would walk down the street from the hotel that were half-naked, dirty and clearly on something. Again, we understand you don't control that, but both those issues made us hesitant to return to Asheville.

We loved the location of being right downtown- also a pool- cabanas- and fire pit. Starbucks in the building and a nice bar. Private parking-(at a cost). Beds were nice. Water pressure in the shower could have been a little better- but I have a lot of hair

Great place to stay. The location is great and rooms were nice with a cool vibe. My only advice is don't buy the breakfast in advance. They have a counter to order breakfast so you can just order what you want. If you buy in advance you get a one time use $15 credit. If you don't spend it all, the remainder gets wasted. Overspend and you have to pay out of your pocket.

What we liked: the staff and mountains view. What We didn’t like the breakfast choices ( a la carte) expencive and limited. We had to change rooms and both had an unpleasant smell. The hotel is undergoing expansion, there’s heavy machine and little privacy on the rooms as construction is happening across from the big windows in the rooms. Parking is $18.

Knowledgeable front desk staff, great service at the hotel breakfast bar, and a pool where I was able to float all alone for hours. Also the first place I have stayed since the pandemic where they come in everyday and refresh your soap and linens, which I missed more than I thought I would.
