Holiday Inn Express & Suites Gallup East by IHG

Room was nice. Pool was ok. The rail to get into pool is loose so be careful going in or out. Front desk clerk needs to be more attentive to the guests…& a lil more professional.

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The only problem was the only ice machine working was on the main floor in a construction area—so if we wanted ice, we had to have someone at the desk get it for us.

Parking was plentiful. The area is outside looks like there is some construction getting ready to happen or needs some landscape done.

Clean and comfortable. The only negative was not knowing ahead that the pool and hot tub were closed.

Property is well taken care of and there is plenty of parking.

Our room faced I40 and only about 100 feet from the interstate, you could hear all the trucks driving by all night. The AC unit struggled to stay on so felt like a sweat box. Parking lot is shared with other hotels nearby which makes for a packed lot. The hotel also accommodates truck parking so the parking lot is a little shady. Would not stay here again if you paid me.

The window did not lock or close properly so heard wind blowing in all night. Either plumbing or heating in bathroom wall was noisy all night also. Had a $25 charge on cc after checkin, during checkout asked about it the clerk said she didnt see it and since we pre paid with expedia it should go away day 2 and still waiting to see if it goes away. Was going to swim in indoor pool but could smell chloride before even getting near the door. Too strong to swim.

We stayed one night, everything was clean, we are satisfied

I was very disappointed with our stay at this location, first off room is not as pictured they is outdated furniture that us damaged, sheets were stained bathtub plug was broke and rusty. Second, we checked into our room after 9pm and had 3 little kids with me when we entered the room they sat down and started eating there dinner by 915 front desk calls voices a noise complaint from the below room, I then got my kids in bed and no one was walking, by 930 front desk called again voicing another noise complaint from the same place and by 940 police/security knocked on our door voicing more noise complaints I them showed the officer how are kids were in bed and explained did not know what else I could do to be more quite. During this time I could hear the people above us walking. You can hear everything from walking to the water pipes running in the wall we had stayed at multiple hotels over the last 9 days with no difficulty till this day and for them to send the police to our door for the hotels issues is absolutely ridiculous. There are much nicer hotels in the area where you can actually walk in your room without the front desk calling multiple times and police coming to your door, this did not only disrupt the little sleep we were getting but scared my children.

Loved staying here. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean. It is so nice to get the room cleaned daily again.

Clean place to stay.

I came in for my cousins wedding and can’t complain. Everything was clean, breakfast was great, staff was kind and attentive and was close to our destination.

Property was nice and well kept. Room was clean bed was comfortable and breakfast was good.

I found a bed bug on the wall. I gave it a 2 star because they did act fast to get us into another room with an upgrade. However, we didn’t know if it had gone into any luggage or clothing. We had built a case with IHG and the manager called. After talking to her, they claimed to not have found any more in the room and ask if we had stayed in other hotels. Insinuating that WE may have brought it in from elsewhere. We don’t have an infestation in our home. So where this bed bug came from, nobody knows. We had not been issued a refund because the hotel said we booked through a third party, but Expedia escalation team said that since we paid in the hotel, they can provide the refund. So we will see how that turns out. We came home and washed everything we took in hot water twice, but had to throw out our luggage not take any chances.

Got there late had a nice shower and went right to bed. Very nice dark room and so quiet sleep very well

This is the first time staying at this location but we have stayed at many other locations, I love the view and the space we had in the room, the pool was amazing but the hot tub was out… breakfast was amazing, the person that took care of breakfast was very polite and keep food stock and fresh. 100 %

Enjoyed our stay. The staff are helpful and make you feel welcomed. The breakfast is always well done with plenty of options for travelers. I've stayed here probably half a dozen times in the last 2 years; it is my go-to place as I pass by on I-40. Thank you!

Lock up your stuff, this area is known for thieves who got my gas cans. It's not the hotels fault but this seems to be a common problem in this area.

we have stayed here at least three times when traveling from OK to CA..always been great for us with a dog. no road noise
