Hotel inside is pretty good . The outside however was dirty. Pool was very dirty needed some heavey cleaning lots of debris and kids even found a dead bird in the pool. Cushions on balconies were very worn and ripped. Both rooms we had had problems with keys and no one on site to fix at night. Sad because everything else was very nice.

Staff very friendly and courteous, Food was great. The pool fountain (main attraction) Broken and the pool was dirty - Hot tub is very hard to access big step up and down. But the rest of it was great. I would recommend but just don’t get this place if you like the pool photos

We enjoyed our trip and the location of the hotel in proximity to downtown Fredericksburg. The ladies at the front desk were extremely nice. Only drawback to this hotel is parking. Their a few spots short for a full house.

One of the most amazing pools I’ve seen at a hotel! Two water slides and a waterfall with changing water colors. Absolutely an awesome surprise!!

Our room was very nice and had a lovely balcony with a view of the pool. The pool was large and felt more like a resort property pool. There was a nice hot tub, a few kid friendly slides, a grotto area, and several fire pit areas.

This hotel was not up to the standards of a Holiday Inn Express. The hotel is old and in dire need of an update. The room, especially the bathroom was dirty, with standing pink water and hair on the commode. The cushions on the balcony were disgusting. Balcony had not been cleaned for somebtime. Carpet in hallways is loose and a trip hazard. Common area is shabby. I will not stay at this location again.

No room service! We were out of the room all day and no one ever showed up. We were told housekeeping would not come in if we were in the room, which we were not. The refrigerator door was dirty and around the floor of it was built up dust and debris. The wall had a large area that looked like some one splashed a beverage on it and the curtain had a very large stain on it.

I experienced a very unexpected wonderful stay. I am spoiled to high end hotels, and didn’t know if I would enjoy this one. To my surprise, we were pleasantly surprised and satisfied! Very clean, very friendly, and a breakfast that was AMAZING!

The breakfast was standard Holiday inn. Ok not great. The beds were quite comfortable but a little high off ground. My room with balcony overlooked a very nice pool design. The rooms are very quiet with good soundproofing. The hotel appears to be aged as carpet is quite worn. The grounds outside hotel could have more attention. The drinking water from room was terrible so used bottle water for coffee. The hot water side of bathroom sink did not work & I reported it. The tub/shower worked fine however and plenty of hot water. All in all was a Plesant stay & would visit again.

We called in advance to ask if we could check in 1 hour early, and we were told we could and it wouldn't be a problem. One hour before our arrival we get a call by the front desk telling us they over booked our reserved King bedroom and they offered a room with double beds. When we arrived we were told the room wasn't ready. We were very upset the room wasn't ready but after we voiced our concerns and advised them this wasn't acceptable, the room was made available.

The agents at the front desk provided a warm greeting as if they were excited to see us. Our room was ready and everything we needed was already in our room. The room was clean and the pool Is amazing.The lifeguard was super friendly!

It was a clean hotel, super close to Main Street where all the shopping is at. Less than 5 minutes to a Walmart & HEB in the other direction. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Our room was close to the elevator but we heard no noise at all. Great pool especially if traveling with kids.. my only complaint was that I had the “do not disturb” sign on the door handle and someone came in and left immediately then the sign was on the floor. I was watching tv at the time and my party was loading our vehicle. Unless there’s a fire, no one should come in when the sign is on the door. I let the front desk know and was told no one is supposed to enter the rooms until the desk sends them a text. So this needs to be fixed.

BACON! They served bacon on the weekend. The staff was friendly and the pool was the best in Fredericksburg. In my opinion, it was the last hotel that was in walking distance. This was a great perk because parking was sparse on Main Street and I didn’t want to drink and drive. Free cookies in the lobby and free breakfast. Spacious rooms that were equipped with mini fridge and microwave which was very convenient.
