I looked online for an affordable place with a pool to stay. After I booked it and we were settled in I asked where the pool is? They said what pool? I said online it shows you have a pool.The beds are not comfortable and the shower head gets more water on the ceiling and floor than the person showering. It was better than sleeping in a car but not much.

The property is a little older and the parking is really tight, but everything is clean and well maintained. The gentleman working the desk was prompt, polite, and efficient. It's right on the main street through town, right outside the west entrance to Yellowstone, so very convenient. We walked to the shops and restaurants.

Old, poor to none water pressure, no elevator, outside staire only.

Web site showed pool, but there isn't one. No dressers, can not unpack. Tight areas to get around bed. Has fridge and microwave.

limited electrical outlets, very tight parking, must exit parking lot by backing onto major street with no view for on coming traffic. great room, stayed an extra night.

Worst room I have ever stayed in by far the toilet didn’t work the yv didn’t work and there isn’t a pool as advertised. Customer service is horrible and the room was dirty and stinky. Ugh not to mention the crappy parking.

Steep narrow dangerous outside stairs. Screeching beds at evey roll-over all night. Canceled second night.

Water wasn't hot enough. Parking lot was crowded with dumpsters, construction. I missed no elevator when I registered.

The guy who check me in was not friendly, almost rude. i ask where the ice dispenser was and he replied its out there, and I ask again specifically where it was and he replied you will see it outside. I arrive around 7PM Friday and there was no coffee. the room I got was on the the second floor and two or three steps of the wooden stairs was wiggling. Parking inside was two tight, if your lucky to park on the inside and its almost full, you need to backup to the streets, the parking lot was dark The rooms are big but inside feels musky, the toilets don't have exhaust, water was strong but takes a wile to heat up.

Our room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly as there were water bottles in the floor from others behind the nightstand. Everything else was fine. Location is great.

It is an older motel in Yellowstone but very clean with comfy beds. Walking distance to everything. Reasonable rates and friendly service.

Outdoor carpet on upper walkway is lumpy, which is a tripping hazard. Bedidng worn and outdated, carpet stained, drapes blocking a/c controls. It is in a good location for park access.

Stairs to get to second level are incredibly dangerous.Comforters seemed very old, same with carpet. Exhaust fan very dirty. Old receipts found next to end table so clearly not cleaned.

The carpet needed vacuumed. The room had a strange odor. The shower ceiling was falling apart.

Room was large and comfortable. Easy walk to shopping and dining. Close to Yellowstone Park entrance. Property and room was very clean.

No hair conditioner. When asked front office said “go to the store around the corner”. (Store did not have conditioner) Mold on ceiling. Toilet paper rolled up on wall behind bathroom door. Very outdated. Smoke alarm gone and empty ceiling hole. Went to check out at 7am no one was there groups of ppl waiting.

It was okay. Staff was super friendly which was a plus. Cleanliness wasn't so much. Their was black hair in the tub, which when you take shower it doesn't drain. Their was toothpaste above the sink dried up from previous people plus little black hair in sink. The full size bed was kind of angled like it was broken before (not to sure). Chairs all stained up. Hair still on floor.

DO NOT STAY HERE! There were flies all over, probably 15 in our room, mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom and my feet were black from walking across the floor. It was disgustingly so dirty and gross we ended up leaving and staying at a different motel.

Bed was awful. No fridge.No micowave. Shower curtain stiff and huge. Had to stand on it in the shower.

Affordable, close to everything. Old fashioned physical key. Ice machine on ground level. Heater/ac super strong. Bed is just right, shower is good. Toilet...how much lower until it's on the floor? Gees Good housekeeping. Park on street if you find the parking lot tight.

The mattresses on the beds were very old and the A/C did not work

Out of the three nights we stayed, two of those nights the TV wasn’t working and by the time they sent someone it was time to go to sleep. Also, it advertised that there would be free Wi-Fi and our section did not get any Wi-Fi whatsoever.

The room was very spacious and clean; however, it had an adjoining room door. Everything said in that adjoining room could be heard clearly and loudly. The disturbing noise lasted all evening and began again at 5:30 AM.

Pretty bad. You can hear people walking upstairs.

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. I don't think I've stayed in a worse hotel, and ironically, this was one of the more expensive hotels we stayed in during our trip. Yes, it is conveniently located right outside of Yellowstone National Park. But that's where it stops. The floor was dirty, the shower was leaking, the beds were barely supported by some DIY plywood bed frames. Our room also didn't have a refrigerator, which was important to us so we could chill food and ice packs while we were at the park all day. Apparently some rooms have refrigerators, some don't, and the front desk didn't know why. When I asked if we could be moved to a room with a fridge, we were told that since we were staying there for several days, it would be difficult to change rooms, so we just had to deal with it. I know hotels in West Yellowstone are expensive, but don't go with this "cheap" option (we still paid $280 per night).

The young guy at front desk was very apathetic. We had a problem with our room and he could care less to solve anything. Worst service I’ve had at a hotel. Will never stay there again.

Room was supposed to be 2 queens but instead the room had a double and a queen. When I talked to the staff they were unwilling to do anything about it. Another front desk staffer couldn’t understand English well enough to get another wash cloth for us. We will not be staying here again.

No refrigerator in room. No one at desk until time noted for check-in. Did not even answer the phone. Left early (5 am) and no where to put room key or person in reception area.

Very adequate. Be aware if you have an early start planned the morning of check out that the office doesn’t open until 7, and there is no drop box. The morning of our stay, office staff didn’t arrive until 7:10, which delayed our entrance to Yellowstone.

Everything we needed for a last minute place to stop on our road trip for the night. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The people working at the front desk were accommodating and professional. However we did have a roach crawl across the couch and our neighbors were literally moving out of their hotel room late at night and early in the morning. It was hard to sleep with the doors slamming constantly as they came in and out of the room for several hours.

The staff and manager behaved in an unprofessional and discourteous manner. Despite booking two rooms for a single day, the lodge management claimed they could only find one reservation, despite our presentation of the Expedia confirmation containing all relevant information. Initially, the lodge staff stated that no rooms were available. They then proposed alternative accommodation at another hotel, nearly twice the price of Travelers Lodge. However, when we informed management that we could make do with just one room, suddenly a room at Travelers Lodge became available, albeit with an additional charge.

Great for a night stay and five stars for the location

Close to everything

After reading some of the online reviews that complained about absolutely everything, we found none of that to be true. We were pleasantly surprised with the condition of the property. We weren’t expecting much because it was the cheapest thing we could find in the area and we just needed a place to sleep so that we could spend time in the park. Keep in mind that this is not a five-star hotel so don’t arrive with those expectations. We had a refrigerator, a microwave, a TV and the shower was equipped with both shampoo and body wash. There was an icemaker on the property and when we needed more towels, the office was quick to give them to us. There are plenty of places to eat around the property and within walking distance. And the downtown center tourist shopping was also within walking distance. When we got home in the evenings, we watched TV and while there were plenty of shopping channels, there was also lots of other channels to watch. The beds were comfortable enough to get a good nights sleep. If you’re traveling on a budget, this is a great place to consider.

Great cheap stay in West Yellowstone, walkable to restaurants and stores, near to the West Entrance.

The hotel was nice for what we needed. Nothing special but overall, we were pleased. Waited around in the morning for 15 minutes past the time we were told they would open and no one showed up. Kind of bummed we had to go somewhere else for our morning cup of coffee.

Location was good, restaurants and shopping close by. Pricey for what you get. No coffee maker or microwave, not even hand soap. Office wasn't open for coffee when we left at 6:40. There was a bus waiting for people, no coffee for them either.

Very frustrating, breakfast was listed online but there wasn't any and there is not even coffee makers in the room. Recommend bringing your own pillows, one pillow person and they are tiny flat things! We had our box trailer with us too so we had to park around the corner and drag all our suitcases around to our room. Frankly, pretty disappointed with our stay there.

It said there was a continental breakfast, but there was none.

It’s nothing in the lobby! No coffee. No hot water. Inside the room, there’s no refrigerator, no microwave, no coffee machine! You could not find staff members night & early morning. Because office was open 7:30am!

Good Motel type accommodation conveniently located for access to the local facilities and the park. No way to heat drinks in the rooms, but coffee usually available at the reception.

Affordable for the area room was small but had everything we needed. Recent reno was well done not like some other botched repairs I have seen. Front office is not open 24 /7 was not even open for coffee in the morning this is the only thing it lost points for.
