Lovely room in heritage style, spoilt a little by the common balcony shared by everyone else. That resulted in people partying outside our room until nearly midnight. Otherwise this is one of our favourite accommodation places on the coast in Adelaide

Magnificent building with lovely staircase and wooden features throughout. Nicely furnished in keeping with the style and class of the building. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Close to beach and pier for great morning or afternoon walks. Good breakfast and dining options. Was a bit noisy in the building the first night. Not sure what was the source of this.

Room cleaning was fabulous every day Lovely location for pier Lovely decor and beach / sunset views from the room Staff very friendly Excellent restaurant and bar food We stayed late in bar only 10 pm and had to leave the building (previously we just went straight onto the staircase to get to our room) told to enter again but failed to get in only to end back at the bar The bar staff were very helpful We were on the top floor which had 4 very long flights of stairs ( high ceilings) being a heritage hotel there were no lifts We managed but I could imagine many would struggle Very lovely young man carried our bags up without even breaking a sweat 😅 Coming from England for 6 weeks our bags were very heavy!!

Checked in to find that we had been upgraded from what would have been a very good room to the ‘Room 1’ Heritage Deluxe Room which had an even bigger Spa bath and the best of views. Dinner at the hotel was good, staff professional and helpful. Will be back.

A pleasant stay but the this period hotel is in need of a few more mid cons. Staff all very nice , helpful and attentive. Eat at the hotel and the food was good and a variety. Down side a little out of town although train from Largs Station (approx 10min walk) great to take you into city. Also a very busy place for functions and daily visits for meals. Can be noisy , equally sound proofing could be better, noisy floorboards , coming & going. Laundromat on site great for on the road wash 10aus$ and done. The Largs Pier has the nostalgia, the setting with beach & pier. Would I stay again probably but would like to see a little more upgrade.

We had originally booked a heritage room whilst it is a beautiful room ! It was just way too many flights of stairs with luggage to navigate on a daily basis. We were repositioned onto the ground floor with no fuss, this room was clean but a little old, a cupboard door fell off but was promptly fixed, the room can become a little noisy with foot traffic on a weekend, the shower recess allows water to freely pass through onto the bathroom floor which becomes soaked & the wifi is very sketchy also the tv is too small for the size of the room. The location is awesome as are the meals & the staff are wonderful, so I suppose the $ per room reflects well on what you get. We would definitely return.

We arrived really late from airport to a motel that was locked/closed at the front door. We managed to call the front desk and were directed to their gaming room for check-in. We do know this is an older motel. It is our fault that we did not know there is no lift. The bed was decent comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfasts on both mornings which was at the bar areas, instead of the restaurant. I can deal with an older motel but the room itself - The insides of closet was dusty and the kettle has seen better days. The kettle was 1/2 full with water when I checked on it. No, I never use hotels' kettles but I was just curious!

Exceeded all expectations - Brilliant!!! Reception staff very welcoming and gave us a tour of premises and assisted with luggage to our room. Spacious, beautifully appointed accommodation. Bed comfortable, seemed larger than the advertised Queen size. Amazing water views in the corner room plus chairs and table on gorgeous wrap around balcony. I worried about the ‘partially open bathroom’, I need not have as it had a closing sliding door. Loved the chaise, so comfortable to lounge on. Dined in the restaurant, food delicious & plentiful, staff very friendly. Want to visit again, it was so good.

Loved our stay. We had a beautiful view of the bay and jetty. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we were a short walk from the station, which was very convenient. The restaurant and bar were also great. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I loved staying just across the road from the beautiful beach. The room was very comfortable and the food was amazing!! All staff were friendly and helpful. Just a 20minute train trip into Adelaide, train station 5minute walk. Will definitely stay again!

The building is just beautiful, the view from the balcony from our room was amazing. The dining options and food were good. We liked the location of the Largs train station to the hotel, giving us easy access to Adelaide City.
