The staff was so nice! Front Desk, Housekeeping & Breakfast help. Hotel says it has laundry - it does NOT Hotel gym is 1 elliptical and some free weight. Not happy Deadbolt in my room did NOT work - maintenance never came up

Microtel’s lobby seemed updated but not overly inviting. Breakfast was okay and appreciated, especially the pancakes, but the quality of the food was lacking. The beds were comfortable & the room clean, but the bathtub drain was so clogged that within minutes of showering, we were calf deep in disgusting water. The fitness room was not updated, as the treadmill was broken. The location, however, was perfect! Terrible coffee! Thank goodness for Starbucks right down the road. In general, for the cost, it was worth the short stay.

This is a balanced review. First the good: the bed was comfortable. The hotel was very quiet, and this is so important for me. The breakfast was great. Now, the not so good: as I walked in, there were buckets and trash cans catching water from the leaking ceiling. The elevator had a strange and unpleasant smell. I had hoped that the lack of carpets in the room would cause it to be cleaner. Unfortunately the floors were instead sticky and quite dirty. So dirty, I didn’t want to go without my slippers. I checked my slippers before packing them in the morning and … they were black. I do not wear my slippers anywhere but inside. I had to wash the soles vigorously to get them to look clean. Checkin was extremely easy online. However, when I arrived the key card machine was not in service. The poor front desk clerk had to walk everyone to their rooms. I went out for dinner and it still wasn’t fixed when I returned.

Great staff. All were very friendly and accommodating. I love that they are dog friendly and they have a nice picnic area out back. Easy on and off route 70 with a good variety of food available in walking or short drive. Great breakfast!!! If definitely stay here again!!

Front desk clerk very helpful and nice upon checkin. Room left a little to be desired - extremely dirty floor with many stains on carpet and dirty bed skirts. Breakfast ok but no milk available for cereal.

For the most part the hotel was good. The carpet in our room was very badly stained. Ugh! There was something on our curtains and walls beside the window that looked like chocolate ice cream had been slung on them and had ran down. Vending machine are bills or change only which makes it tough when there’s no ATM on the property to get cash. Location is close to everything! Would consider staying again!

The wostt thing about this hotel is the water pressure. we had 2 rooms and we all complained about the pressure. You saved zero on water as we had to take a much longer shower than normal. Otherwise it was a pretty good stay. Also you need to place a sign by the toaster that it is digital..

The walls are so thin that someone in the next room put the TV on loud, and I didn't sleep the whole night. It was very noisy. I was fatigued from the travel, and it has messed up the next day due to lack of sleep. I would not recommend it if you are not lucky enough to avoid such issues.

All of the hotel employees we met were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The suite was roomy and nice. The hotel is in a convenient location with multiple dining options close by. I only wish the bed was a king size instead of queen.

The bed by the window in room 321 had a large dip in the mattress. My husband didn't get much sleep! Told the woman the next morning and all she said was yeah we're gonna replace it.if I had seen how bad it was before we went to sleep I would've asked to switch rooms

Checkin was SO simple--literally under 5 minutes. I walked in, gave my name and she handed me my keys. The suite was spacious and best of all -- SPOTLESS. Whenever I am in this area, I stay here.

The clerk was very helpful, while we were out to dinner she looked to see if i was a rewards member and found my number since I was already enrolled. Room was good except there was only one electrical outlet in the room that we could use to charge our devices. I enjoyed having cranberry juice for breakfast since its not always an option. Having the choice of regular sausage when turkey sausage was also available was good. The proper use of gloves when dealing with food may need to be review with employee.

The main lobby was sparkling clean with nice fragrance. Rooms were also very clean and spacious. The fire pit at the back of the hotel was perfect. Breakfast was good but there were not enough staff and breakfast were not refilled promptly. We found staff to be non-helping. We made 4 requests during our 2 night stay and none of them were resolved. We had 3 rooms and all of them were on a different floor. We requested to accommodate us on same floor but did not happen. We asked for extra towel. We were asked to wait for one hour as towels were in the washer and then it had to go to the dryer before we get it. The remote for the TV was not working. We informed front desk. This was not resolved either. Either they are short staffed or staff is not motivated to do any extra work. However, the hotel has a good ambiance and comfort.

Expedia totally ruined my stay, canceled my last night, causing me having to pay out of pocket for a room that was paid for. I did not request for expedia for my reservation. Haven't seen a refund for my out of pocket costs. Staff with Wyndham was outstanding and very helpful.

I booked weeks ahead and checked in early through the text link for 2 queen beds. When we got to hotel they only had a one queen bed room and said they were booked and couldn't move us. We were then promised a $25 credit that never came thru and trying to get a hold of the property was impossible. The hotel itself was really nice but it was hard to enjoy the stay.

I checked into this Microtel on a Wednesday and checked out on a Sunday. At no point during my entire stay did anyone from housekeeping step into my room. Four nights of unchanged bedding, and a nightly stop at the front desk for more towels. I'd set my waste basket and my used towels on the floor outside my door each morning and at some point, they were picked up. Seems Wyndham feels that by slapping 'Wyndham Green' all over this complete lack of basic guest services excuses them. If Wyndham was at all concerned about our environment, they wouldn't wrap each in-room paper coffee cup in a plastic bag. They wouldn't individually wrap every single slice of bread, bagel, or pastry in a zip lock bag at the breakfast buffet or provide plastic utensils also wrapped in individual plastic sleeves. This is clearly all about Wyndham GREED and not Wyndham Green. If you enjoy being completely ignored as a guest at one of their properties, that's your choice. I cannot recommend this Microtel and will avoid all Wyndham properties in the future.

Was in room for 5 nights, housekeeping did not come into room to resupply, take trash out, freshen towels, multiple visits and calls were made to front desk to ask for services. I went to front desk several times getting clean towels and coffee pods. How does housekeeping not come into a room during a 5 night stay?

Front desk person (male) was so helpful when my daughter left her water bottle in the room. He went above and beyond to go up to the room and check for it and found it! Greatly appreciated and a big reason why I would stay there again!

We stay here all the time because it’s close to Wheeling university without the crazy prices and right in the middle of all the restaurants! Everything was perfect except the coffee machine was broken in the morning and no one knew how to fix it

The hotel seemed to be recently updated. The person checking you in was a little beside himself and overwhelmed with all the incoming of people check in at the same time. No hot breakfast was told morning person did not show up to prepare that.

Had everything I needed for a quick 1 night stay on a long road trip. Convenient location with plenty of food options around. Check in was easy and the room was just as it should be. Clean, stocked, and comfortable. TV was a little glitchy but there was bad weather. Great breakfast! I was really impressed with the spread; eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, and pancakes! Such a pleasant surprise to start the day, coffee was good and they had to go cups so I was able to get back on the road quickly. I felt safe here as a solo female traveler. Plus they’re pet friendly! Great hotel for this price range, I’d stay here again.

This was our second stay here. Price is right, rooms are clean and staff is friendly and super accommodating especially the front desk clerks - the best! Chocolates Chip cookies afternoons in the lobby is a cute touch. Complimentary breakfast is really thoughtful and abundant. This morning I had a cheese omelette, a fresh made biscuit with sausage gravy and crispy bacon. That was just the tip of the iceberg. Our go-to place when on our way to Indy.

Everything was good, very nice staff. Only thing i didnt like was the coffee machine wouldn't make the coffee correctly. It was mostly water each time i tried. Other than that loved it!!! Will stay again.
