We were greeted with friendly and helpful staff that made us feel welcome. The hotel was clean and looked nice. The room was nice, comfortable but maybe just a little dated with a somewhat musty smell.it wasn’t overwhelming but there. The room was clean and the sheets and towels had hints of bleach smell which made us confident in the cleanliness. The room was very quiet and with the dark curtains you will sleep like a baby! The pool and the jacuzzi was great with hours open long enough for you to actually enjoy them. The breakfast area was very comfortable and pleasing. I want to make mention once more The night staff were so helpful, accommodating and had great personalities. It just made it a nicer experience. This is a place I will want to return for my visits.

Very pleasantly surprised, the gentleman who checked us in was cordial and inviting. The complementary drinks and breakfast and now dining; puts bigger chains to shame. Pool open 24/7 again unheard of. If ever in the area this is the place to stay.

There was a nice breakfast ( not just coffee & donuts) and light supper offered in addition to a happy hour each evening. They also provided refreshing cucumber water at the front desk.The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The pool/hot tub area was clean as were the rooms. The level of noise from adjacent rooms was minimal ( excellent sound proofing)! This facility was also pet friendly which was a plus as we were traveling with our small dog. I would definitely stay at this facility again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other travelers.

We love staying at this hotel by the base it’s very clean even tho outdated staff is. Very friendly and helpful will continue to stay there every time for business recommended to others too. Draw back is the parking lot is in very poor condition lots of pit holes needs to be redone

I was very surprised to learn that they had a complimentary happy hour glass of wine or beer or soda. They also served nachos and other snacks. I was also surprised by a small but well equipped fitness room and a nice pool. Tha staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The TV had a lot of options. All in all a very good value

Although an older hotel and somewhat dated, the property is extremely well maintained and clean. The lobby & breakfast area is well laid out, hotel is pet friendly, very large room/suite. The hotel is also very affordable in today's marketplace. The staff were excellent... pleasant and friendly, and very helpful. If accommodations are required in Sierra Vista or when visiting Bisbee 30 minutes away, especially for a pet friendly location, this is your spot. You will not be disappointed. We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay in March 2024.

The staff and Hotel were great. It’s a little older hotel but is a gem. Nice clean rooms and clean pool and hot tub. Opened 24 hrs. In the evening they have soup and salad. They also have chips, nuts, and nachos. They also gave us 2 free drinks a day. (We had water and soda.) The bedroom is a king size bed, a sofa that can make a single bed, desk and chair, fridge, TV and microwave. We had a great stay. We would stay here again.

One of the cleanest and most comfortable places I have stayed in a while. Yes, the furnishings are dated. The staff is top notch. It cannot be cleaner. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the sheets are pressed. There was an evening happy hour and a morning breakfast. Everything was simply amazing.

The property is an older facility. We have stayed in the past, but this time the shower head fell off, the towels were so small that they would not even wrap around a medium build. The staff was friendly, and helpful.

Although the hotel was a bit older it had been nicely redone and is well maintained. The rooms are fairly large with a comfortable sitting area, small kitchen, and a good bed. The complimentary breakfast was better than most. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.

The room was clean, but even though it was a non-smoking room you could still smell some smoke. The first key I was given didn't work, so I had to go back downstairs to get new ones. The TV volume didn't work. Called to have them come fix it, they came up, tried it out, and said they were going to bring a new TV, but never did. The room was very hot when we got into it, and it took over 2 hours to cool it off. Breakfast was ok, but didn't have much variety.

A fantastic hotel, arrived and they were very polite and welcoming at the desk. I went through to my room and wow it was so big and spacious for one person. There was a seating area, a small kitchen area with Fridge, microwave, hob, plates/cutlery etc and a coffee maker. There was a sofa and a recliner chair in the seating area and then the bed. In the evenings they have a few drinks and snacks and breakfast is included in the mornings. I would definitely stay again

Check in was quick and easy. Front desk clerks were amazing and helpful. 10/10 for customer service and cleanliness. Furniture was a little outdated and the hot tub wasn't working but the room was clean and bed was comfortable. The bedding smelt like bleach but at least I knew it was clean lol.

The rooms are good size and very clean. Some things show age but not in an unclean way. Maid service is every other day and breakfast is barely OK but we would stay again for the location by military base, price, and clean rooms.

This Hotel room was spacious with nice furniture and you could cook a meal it has cookware 2 stove a microwave and a fridge. It has a beautiful mountains views. This hotel is near the Sierra Vista public golf course it is very quiet. They had HBO and many TV channels. Good location walking distance from many restaurants. They were very hospitable, Happy hours every night ! Free Beer and wine with chips, nachos, and fresh popcorn! They also served a full breakfast! Very good value! My only concern is that the bed wasa little too firm for me, otherwise, this place was great!

Staff was very friendly upon greeting and took time to explain amenities. They also checked me in early immediately without any issues (unsure that they could or having to check with manager, etc. and making me wait for minutes at a time like I’ve had to do at other hotels). Also offered me which floor to pick from (other hotels don’t even offer and I have to ask). Amenities were great - pool, fitness center and included dinner and breakfast! Lobby, hallway and room were all very clean and well maintained. Room smelled clean and looked like someone had actually cleaned it. Small touches in the room made me feel like housecleaning took time to clean and took pride in their work. Everything in the room worked well and having the extra dish sink with stove and pots/plates/utensils was nice to have. Overall EXCELLENT HOTEL at a great price point that I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Very friendly staffs, great service! It was a great stay for us especially after work and looking forward to relaxing. They had light dinner (salad, soup and snacks) with free drinks. We were so impressed. We really appreciate their services. The hotel is a little old but the room is cozy and the hospitality is beyond it.

Good value. Room and front desk staff were good. Breakfast was good but the lady maintaining it was rude. Housekeeping staff also rude. If I'm in the area again, I'd pay a little more for better service somewhere else. If you don't mind that and want to save a few bucks, this place is for you.

The first desk clerk that we encountered was very unprofessional and not friendly. We will consider staying some place else on our next visit. We have stayed at this hotel 3 other times and enjoyed it but the employee this time has changed our minds.

We had confirmation of a reservation but when we arrived we found out they had given our three rooms away. The staff said we were not registered even though we had our confirmation. The staff could have cared less and were not helpful at all. Won’t book with this hotel again

Breakfast provided good, maybe staff moré friendly smile. Arrived an hour earlier at 2pm. Person at the desk at the time NOT to friendly. I asked her if posible to check in earlier or should we comeback at 3pm. She responded not to friendly to come back at 3pm. Which it was fine

This is a wonderful hotel! Right in the middle of many attractions: Tombstone, Bisbee, Kartchner Caverns, wonderful birding and hiking. Breakfast was great and service was excellent! The studio has a full mini kitchen including a stove. The bed was great! We would definitely come back!

Gateway Studio Suites was everything I was needed for a quiet, simple stay in the Sierra Vista area. Despite its proximity to Fort Huachuca, the room was surprisingly quiet. The simple breakfast layout was perfect to get the day started. All staff were courteous and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

First off, we really like this place and have returned many times. We appreciate the complimentary happy hour and breakfast was always pretty good. The rooms have been comfortable. This stay our bed was just awful, must be an older room. Breakfast was much less than it used to be. No hot foods like before just breads, coffee, cereals and waffles. It was okay, but not what we have come to expect. Service as always was very good.

We always stay here when we are in Sierra Vista. Reasonable rates, pet fee is low. They have good breakfast. Dinner is available Mon-Thurs as well. We love the happy hour…2 free drinks per room and snacks for free as well!

Honestly, I loved our stay at Gateway Suites. The hotel is blessed with amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They really made us feel like part of their family. The amenities of a social happy hour and breakfast were so appreciated. Once, I saw a front desk clerk go out of her way to make sure a family out in the pool had pool toys to use.
