Loved this hotel in a 500 year old building. The front desk staff were amazing. The room was large with an electric fireplace heater and a large jacuzzi tub. The elevator was quite small but other than that, truly a great hotel and highly recommended.

We (37F and 41M) really enjoyed the location, how friendly the staff were and how clean the room was. Two things that stood out. 1.the room we got (502) was super small for two people. We would have to Tetris ourselves to move around. 2. If you arrive after reception hours 4pm then you might struggle with the virtual door unlock/lock system. So be sure to ask the front desk to leave you the proper instructions or look for a welcome envelope at the reception desk.

Hotel had a great location, was perfect for what we needed. Check in was quick, just make sure you stay up to date with emails so you understand the process for accessing the room during out of office hours for reception. We had an issue with the aircon leaking water on our final day, it didn’t cause us any problems as we were leaving but reception were happy we let them know so they could arrange maintenance to resolve the problem for the next guest, I thought this was worth mentioning to show their proactiveness in ensuring room was ready for the next guests. Overall a great hotel perfect for a long weekend stay on Rome! Would definitely use again.

Lovely hotel and fabulous room. The virtual door lock took us some attempts to get correct, but we got there in the end. Very clean and great location - we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Only improvement for us would have been to have the tea/coffee restocked each day!

Amazing location in central Rome, easily walkable to all of the major attractions and countless dining options, clean and quiet room, friendly and helpful staff. The staff is only there from 8:00-4:00, so I didn't see them much. The only slight negative of our entire stay was the slightly confusing room access system, but they answered the phone after hours when we arrived on hte first night and were very helpful walking us through how to use it.

The hotel was very charming and the rooms were huge. The canopy bed was a treat. There was excellent AC which was amazing in the summer. The location was amazing, allowing you to walk to the Vatican, pantheon, trevi fountain and colosseum. The only complaints is that the bed frame/board and floor by bed were very dusty, and the shower intermittently did not have hot water. They also offered a continental breakfast for only €10 which was not bad and a €65-70 driver for the airport which was very convenient (granted it looked like a flat rate cab on the street to the airport was €55)

Nice hotel in a great location. Check in was quick and easy. Room was very nice. The bed was comfy and the air con worked well. Room was generally quiet. Only downside was that they were doing work on the cobble stones out front of the hotel. They didn’t work on Sunday but on Monday morning they started about 8am and it was very loud. It wasn’t an issue for us as we were awake but it would’ve been impossible to sleep in if you wanted to. But otherwise the location was quiet. Lots of food places around and you are close to the main sights. Breakfast looked good but we ate out. They held our bags on the last day until we were ready to go to the airport.

The staff and service were excellent. The place was very clean, and the location was so perfectly centralized to anywhere we needed to go. Our reasons for rating a 4/5 were mostly amenity based. The elevator shakes like it's going to fall (we were on the top floor) even when it was just one of us with a suitcase. The larger shower head sprayed in multiple directions except down, making it pretty much unusable (there was a smaller side shower head that was functional, but was difficult to get fully cleaned with where it was located). And finally, the wifi was really bad, and we often had to use our data plans because we could barely connect. We want to say though that the building itself was great. The staff were pleasant to communicate with, and barring the small issues we had, we are positive this is a great place to stay.

Location is superb and walking distance to most of the main tourist attractions. Only exception is colosseum. Location also superb for Vatican visits and the many quality dining options. Hotel is small but beautiful. Digital key can be a pain but the most annoying thing was the digital turn knob/key. You have to really turn it multiple times to unlock. Make sure you press any key when leaving your room before turning to lock your room again.

Incredibly charming property, the rooms had beautiful wooden beams and were very spacious. The staff was very friendly and very convenient location-wise. Only negative was that the tile floors were dirty and hadn't been mopped in a while - not visibly so but we spilled a little water and wiped it up and the cloth was black.

You get what you pay for. Rooms are tiny. Shower is ridiculously small. Area is decent. Room was dirty and bathroom/shower was dirty and appeared to be molded. I would not stay here again.

We had a great stay at Relais Giulia and would highly recommend. The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful. It is on a very quaint street that is safe and easily walkable to so much in the surrounding neighborhood, the Trastevere neighborhood and beyond. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around but yet the street is very quiet. Highly recommend!

RG is a great hotel on a quiet street in Rome. Room was in good condition. Operational. Shower was a bit tight but it’s Europe. Thats understandable. AC was working great. We loved coming back after a long day of sight seeing in 37 degrees to get the 21 degree blast of coolness. Breakfast was extensive for the extra 10 Euro. Would return.

We only stayed for 1 night, but from arrival, after an issue with a taxi driver trying to charge too much, Ash behind reception helped us challenge the driver and we got the fare reduced. He was a lovely guy and really helpful to sort restaurants taxis etc. The hotel itself is small, but beautiful with its boutique layout and appearance. The location is down a quiet street, but not far from many of the main Rome sites, and a five minute walk from plenty of great looking restaurants. I would highly recommend the hotel for location, quality and friendliness.
We only stayed for 1 night, but from arrival, after an issue with a taxi driver trying to charge too much, Ash behind reception helped us challenge the driver and we got the fare reduced. He was a lovely guy and really helpful to sort restaurants taxis etc. The hotel itself is small, but beautiful with its boutique layout and appearance. The location is down a quiet street, but not far from many of the main Rome sites, and a five minute walk from plenty of great looking restaurants. I would highly recommend the hotel for location, quality and friendliness.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. The weekday and weekend reception hosts were extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations and taxi reservations to and from the airport and our room was immaculate when we returned from our daily outings. It's location is excellent and we were able to walk to most of our planned excursions.

Such a great place to stay while exploring Rome ! The staff were so helpful and were able to call us taxis so quickly when needed. It’s in a great area accessible to everything but tucked away so it was very peaceful. Highly recommend!

We (37F and 41M) really enjoyed the location, how friendly the staff were and how clean the room was. Two things that stood out. 1.the room we got (502) was super small for two people. We would have to Tetris ourselves to move around. 2. If you arrive after reception hours 4pm then you might struggle with the virtual door unlock/lock system. So be sure to ask the front desk to leave you the proper instructions or look for a welcome envelope at the reception desk.

My husband and I are fit and were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go - though it was a LOT of steps! Our only issue was a very small doorway in the corridor of our room. My husband is 6’ tall and hit his head several times. The front desk is only staffed during the day, so if you need anything, you have to be mindful of the hours.

Amazing location in central Rome, easily walkable to all of the major attractions and countless dining options, clean and quiet room, friendly and helpful staff. The staff is only there from 8:00-4:00, so I didn't see them much. The only slight negative of our entire stay was the slightly confusing room access system, but they answered the phone after hours when we arrived on hte first night and were very helpful walking us through how to use it.

We had a great stay at Relais Giulia and would highly recommend. The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful. It is on a very quaint street that is safe and easily walkable to so much in the surrounding neighborhood, the Trastevere neighborhood and beyond. The hotel was very charming and the rooms were huge. The canopy bed was a treat. There was excellent AC which was amazing in the summer. The location was amazing, allowing you to walk to the Vatican, pantheon, trevi fountain and colosseum. The only complaints is that the bed frame/board and floor by bed were very dusty, and the shower intermittently did not have hot water. They also offered a continental breakfast for only €10 which was not bad and a €65-70 driver for the airport which was very convenient (granted it looked like a flat rate cab on the street to the airport was €55)

RG is a great hotel on a quiet street in Rome. Room was in good condition. Operational. Shower was a bit tight but it’s Europe. Thats understandable. AC was working great. We loved coming back after a long day of sight seeing in 37 degrees to get the 21 degree blast of coolness. Breakfast was extensive for the extra 10 Euro. Would return.

A quiet, peaceful hotel on a great Roman street. The personalized attention from the front desk and breakfast staff was much appreciated. (Jonathan, who greeted us upon our arrival and showed us our room, was especially helpful.) The sleeping area was comfortable and gracious, with a very comfortable bed, although the pillows were somewhat flat & lifeless.

This was a fantastic property to stay! The location was one of the best in Roma. It was close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. It had more of a local feel to it, and the breakfast offered was very good. Highly recommend this place!

Nice hotel in a great location. Check in was quick and easy. Room was very nice. The bed was comfy and the air con worked well. Room was generally quiet. Only downside was that they were doing work on the cobble stones out front of the hotel. They didn’t work on Sunday but on Monday morning they started about 8am and it was very loud. It wasn’t an issue for us as we were awake but it would’ve been impossible to sleep in if you wanted to. But otherwise the location was quiet. Lots of food places around and you are close to the main sights. Breakfast looked good but we ate out. They held our bags on the last day until we were ready to go to the airport.

The location was great. you get the true Rome experience here without the crowds. the streets and piazzas nearby were tranquil and easy to walk to less then 5 minutes for cafe. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Easy to get taxi drop off and pick up in front of hotel. Nicely located near all major tourist locations. Rooms were clean with good AC and bathroom great. Tall ceilings and comfy bed. would stay here again! CHEERS
