Staff was friendly and kind. They even changes us to a bigger room because we had our baby with us. Room was nice and clean. Great area with museums nearby and quick tram to the central station.

The staff was very enthusiastic and helpful. The location is amazing and within walking distance to several tram stations. This hotel is very dated and looks like it once an upon a time was a very nice hotel. However, the drains smelled when we arrived. I am not sure if this is typical of Amsterdam but this caused the room to smell. The floors aren't cleaned and very apparent that they do not clean under the bed because we found old socks under the bed. There were no bed bugs, the linen was fine but overall, the rest of the room wasn't the best well kept. There was dust in different corners. I don't think I will come back.
