Muy buena ubicación, limpio, el precio va acorde a las instalaciones y servicios que ofrece el hotel. El personal es amable. Lo única observación es que el estacionamiento solo cuenta con tres lugares disponibles, por lo cual es poco probable alcanzar lugar. Hay que dejar el auto en la calle.

Excellent location just 4 blocks north of Plaza Grande with great dining options down the street like La Chaya Maya and Museo de la Gastronomía Yucateca. The front desk is very courteous and responsive and the rooms are nice, clean and spacious. Best of all each room has both a fan and an AC. The only things I would cite as negatives are: 1) the property is older and so doesn’t have an elevator (more a problem for people on the 3rd and 4th floors, 2) the beds do not have night tables or nearby AC outlets, 3) the window shades are translucent which results in the room being flooded with light at 5:30 AM and 4) parking is limited and spaces are tight so that getting in and out can be a challenge. Nonetheless this is a great economical option that is well located within the historic center next to many of the best things to see and experience in Merida. Recommended.

Las y los recepcionistas son amables, de eso no tengo queja. El hotel tiene 4 pisos, sin elevador… a nosotros no nos importa subir escalones, pero con ese calor y personas mayores (no lo recomiendo)/ El ventilador de techo hace ruido como si un taladro estuviera en tu habitación, y lo tuvimos que dejar prendido porque el Aire acondicionado estaba roto y lanzaba el aire hacia una esquina del clóset, así que apenas si sentía. El agua caliente sale como media hora después de que te metes a bañar. Había una cucaracha en el baño (eso si no lo soporto) Y a pesar de todo ello, no pedimos que nos cambiaran de habitación, pues justo cuando llegamos otra familia estaba pidiendo cambio de habitación, por lo que me imaginé que sería una perdida de tiempo, no creo que otras habitaciones estuvieran mucho mejor. La alberca es ridículamente pequeña, no es la bella alberca que se ve en las fotos… en realidad nada se ve como en las fotos.

Amazing beds, amazing staff, place was very clean, pool was clean as well. Everything was great. Place doesn’t have an elevator so if you travel with a lot of bags ask for a room in the lower levels.

Hotel Básico, limpio y bien ubicado. Por el precio es lo esperado. Alberca es muy pequeña y no tiene restaurante. Creo que probaremos otra opcion la próxima vez

The hotel Santa Maria provides basic rooms that are clean and comfortable without any frills. The staff is always friendly and attentive. If some additional services were provided, it would be an outstanding hotel. Unfortunately, it is missing a manes such as coffee machines or a coffee station in the hotel, it also Does not have a restaurant or bar. It does, however, have a swimming pool.

Excelente: ubicación y amabilidad de algunos miembros del staff Bueno: alberca, es pequeña y fría pero está limpia y hace felices a los niños. El servicio de limpieza es bueno. Malo: no hay elevador para subir al 4to piso, la chica de la mañana podría mejorar un poco su actitud, queríamos ocupar una habitación en lo que llegaba nuestro check in (con costo extra ) xq llegamos en vuelo matutino, se cerró a un no sin darnos opciones. Las habitaciones son máximo para 3 personas.

Room was very clean. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Even installed a shower bar just for wife with balance issues. Hotel is pretty basic with few amenities, but well worh the money. Checked out 3 days early due to need to return home but did not receive refund for prepaid days. I would rate all the staff a 6 on a 5 pt scale

The stay overall was excellent. Pool was perfect and rooms were aw pictured. Only complain was sheets were stained on many spots. Customer service was good. Location was great since we were so close to the center.

Beautiful hotel, sparkling and clean, lovely pool and spacious common areas with comfortable sofas. Staff friendly, efficient and professional. Room and bathroom spotless, comfortable bed. Small breakfasr cafe handy. Amazing value. Well-located, great coffeeshop in next block (Barolo's).

El hotel esta como en las fotos, en recepcion fueron amables y nos guiaban en todo lo que preguntabamos. La limpieza excelente. Diario cambiaban sabanas toallas y ponian jabon y shampoo nuevo.

3rd trip to Merida, different hotel each time. StM layout appears to be fairly typical: foyer with rooms farther back arranged around a courtyard. This makes it just a little noisy at times but not intolerable at all. The room was clean, clean, clean. 2 (14 nights) weeks, not a single bug except a couple of flying things because I had the door open a few times. Also appears to be a standard room layout, older but not worn. The cleaning folks obviously work hard. Was completely pleased, we tipped 30-50p/day when they cleaned ($2-3 US). Front desk was accommodating as needed. Everyone was friendly. I will stay there again. Keep in mind Centro is 400 years old, so cockroaches and bugs are a thing… at the other places maybe! Not here, I didn’t see a single roach, and believe me I was looking -can’t stand ‘em. I would have left on the spot.

The hotel and the room was acceptable. I was on the 4th floor and no lift but no worries. There was no chair in the room so could only sit on the bed. No fridge was a pity. No blackout curtains or a safe a pity. Door lock was pretty flimsy and no chain or latch on the inside was a concern. But the room came at a reasonable rate and the area looked safe and it was centrally located and quiet. So hotel is reasonable.

Great location! The tv never worked but it wasn’t a big deal since we didn’t stay in the room much other than to sleep. Great price and the parking lot they offer gets locked up at night so it feels very safe.

It’s ok for paying 40 dollars, it’s clean but old. Definitely needs some upgrades. Squeaky plumbing and the doors are hard to close.

Great location. . Rooms Ar large with top Notch air condition. Need more dedication to maintenance issue . Flimsy lock on door, shower head needs a good cleaning so water flows , toilet seat loose. Need regular tv not pay per view . Staff very helpful .

La estancia fue incomoda ya que el gerente regaño frente a nosotros a un chico que iba ayudarnos a subir las maletas a un 4to piso porque no hay elevador y ese señor no solo o lo permitio encina delante nuestro dijo que no nos ignoro se llevo al chico y lo corrio.

Atrás del hotel hay un antro el cual viernes,sábado y domingo tiene musica en alto volumen hasta altas horas de la madrugada, por lo que es imposible poder descansar

It is a hidden gem in the heart of Centro, Merida. The location is perfect—you can walk to everything. The price is affordable. Sophia and the other staff are excellent and friendly. However, two angels, Gabriel and Daniel, went above and beyond their jobs to make me feel comfortable and at home. I recommend Hotel Santa Maria to anyone visiting Merida. I look forward to staying there next time I'm in Merida

The only complaint I had is that even though the front desk is attended 24 hrs, extremely boisterous groups in the lobby seating area were allowed to disturb the entire hotel until 2:45 am.

Está súper céntrico, caminando llegas a muchos lugares. Si llegas en avión, el bus va y ven te deja a cuadra y media y cero complicación, aún llevando maletas. Las habitaciones están bien, limpias. It’s a very nice quiet place that is close to Teheran centre and walkable to the Paso de Montejo and the Gran Plaza. Nice Mexican cuisine and other nearby. Rooms are clean and roomy. Hot water was tepid and given 32C outside, not an issue for us. Pool is small and refreshing. Lobby relaxing and chairs to read by. Liked this place!

Just returned from a one-week stay at Hotel Santa Maria. It's located in the very heart of town, halfway between the cathedral square and the Paseo de Montejo. There are dozens of coffee shops, bars, and restaurants within an easy walk. The staff is very helpful, friendly and welcoming, and the pool is lovely (but small). Does it have all the amenities of a five-star hotel? No. But for the price it's a wonderful choice in a very central location. I would absolutely stay there again.

We really enjoyed staying at Hotel Santa Maria. Staff were lovey, very knowledgeable, great help organizing tours, airport taxis etc. Room was simple but very clean and comfortable. Nice a quiet but also close the action. Honestly, it exceeded expectations and would stay again. Really nothing to complain about. Nice little cafe on site too for a quick coffee or breakfast sandwich.

Excellent location just 4 blocks north of Plaza Grande with great dining options down the street like La Chaya Maya and Museo de la Gastronomía Yucateca. The front desk is very courteous and responsive and the rooms are nice, clean and spacious. Best of all each room has both a fan and an AC. The only things I would cite as negatives are: 1) the property is older and so doesn’t have an elevator (more a problem for people on the 3rd and 4th floors, 2) the beds do not have night tables or nearby AC outlets, 3) the window shades are translucent which results in the room being flooded with light at 5:30 AM and 4) parking is limited and spaces are tight so that getting in and out can be a challenge. Nonetheless this is a great economical option that is well located within the historic center next to many of the best things to see and experience in Merida. Recommended.

It is a beautiful historic hotel . My husband and I enjoyed our two nights at the hotel. It is a short walk to the central plaza and with a lot of great restaurants near by too. The small pool in the courtyard was clean and refreshing. The staff were nice and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here

El Hotel además de estar muy bonito con su decoración colonial, está muy accesible a pie del centro (5-10 min). Tiene el parque Santa Lucía a 2 cuadras y a la vuelta de su calle hay un bar "Bird" de cerveza artesanal local muy rica. Cuenta con estacionamiento a un lado y a una cuadra de donde están ellos. Tiene un pequeño restaurante junto a lobby ideal para desayunar. La cama es muy cómoda con las sábanas muy suves. Sólo tuvimos un inconveniente con el aire acondicionado pero se resolvió de inmediato. Recomiendo quedarse en este hotel sin dudarlo.
