Very disappointed that the indoor pool water was very cold so we could not enjoy it, the hot tub was not working or available. The toilet seat in the bathroom was covered in cleaning solution so I had to rinse and wipe it off. There was hair in the shower and bathroom floor. The breakfast options were not good and nothing was gluten free so I couldn't eat anything. For the price that I had to pay to stay at a Hilton, I expected better.

Checkin was a breeze, as always. Only issue was hot tub was broken (whole reason for staying at this particular hotel). Other than the hot tub issues everything was exactly as expected and quite nice.

We were hopeful for a nice pool and hot tub, but the hot tub was a green color, fowl smell, and caused my daughter to break out in bumps/rash. The room was nice. Elevator was fast. Parking is expensive. There is street parking you can find for free around the area but not sure if there is time limits on street parking. We parked in a garage a half a block away and paid $18 a day for the weekend, $25 a day during week.

No parking on site, $45 for valet. Door on street only opens to valet, lobby is on the third floor. Elevators do not work without a key, and don’t easily work with the key. Receptionist was speaking extremely quietly even when asked several times to speak up. Breakfast was old and dry, even as 8:00. The room doors also do not open easily. Pool was closed indefinitely. Bed and room were ok, view was nice. I don’t ordinarily leave reviews but this was not the quality I was expecting for a Hilton.

Entire building reaked of Marijuana. It was difficult to sleep will the Marijuana raising from below or beside. Entire 7th floor hallwall smelled like Marijuana skunk. My sinuses hurt from it and I did my best to slwep woth the covers ocer my head to try to filter it as best as possible.

Staff were friendly, however, the room was so dirty 😢. Hair on the bed sheets, the shower was covered in thick black hair, garbage in the bathroom can, blood stains on the pull out couch mattress. There are much cleaner hotels for the same price in Philly. I would not recommend.

Hotel is nice overall. The valet was extremely helpful. Checked in late, room did not have shampoo, fire alarm hanging off wall. Sofa pull out had no sheets and the mattress had stains. Tried to get a late checkout but couldn't bc short staffed in housekeeping. Front desk in morning not really helpful. Valet was awesome he kept our bags so we could sight see before flight since we couldn't get a late chk out.

Offers a lot for the price, but cleanliness was not up to par. We arrived an hour after check in was given a key and when we entered the hotel room there was staff inside cleaning a trashed room. We had to wait in the lobby while they found us another room with less beds than we paid for. Pull out mattress was stained and flat. We did not have enough towels or rags. And the pool area and hot tub was not cleaned properly. Staff was nice but with no care attitude.

Room was very unclean. previous occupants trash was underneath the kitchen sink. I also don’t believe that the sheets were changed since there was boogers smashed into the sheets. This is very disappointing, especially for the cost. There was also dust on everything, including the ceiling fan. I turned it on the dust fell onto the bed…

The place was dirty. We did not have any soap or shampoo in the room, even after I requested the cleaning lady for some, for the duration of our 2-day stay. I booked for 3 people but there were only 2 towels in the room when we arrived. The vanity lighting was dark and the sink was clogged. The only saving grace were the valet guys. They were very patient and helpful.

Overall experience was great. I wish I could have rated the cleanliness a 5 star but the pull out sofa had a very strong stench of cats and dogs. I did alert the front desk and she did offer to move my family and I but it was so late I declined. The bathroom also could have been cleaned somewhat better, I could tell it was a rush job becuase I had to go behind the staff and clean the toilet which had feces and the tub. The willingness to help and other overall help of staff made up for it. I did let the front desk know upon check out about the stench and cleanliness of the sofa bed and told them I even tried to clean and febreeze it. Probably should be replaced. Again my family and I had a great experience otherwise and we look forward to coming again. Special shout out to Lamont for assisting with all our needs during our stay.

I checked in and I went to put my stuff in the room and I found a blood stain on the sheets and on the bathroom sink. I then was moved into a room that was a downgrade from what I originally booked and payed for. Then we got moved into a slightly bigger room and it had no oven to cook with which in my original room there was an oven and dishwasher. The dishes in each room were not fully clean. I have stayed in quite a few hotels and I have never had an experience like this.

Property was easy to get to, Valet was a treat with traveling into the city with two littles. The room was surprisingly very spacious, the closet door was stuck so we didn’t move it in fear of messing it up and a few stains on the curtains but, very nice!

I am generally a very light sleeper and sometimes have a hard time sleeping in hotels because of all the noise from others guests, sounds of the city, etc. BUT that was not the case here. It was so beautifully quiet in the bedroom suite that I didn’t even hear my friend in the other room. I slept so well and really enjoyed the peaceful quiet and good insulted walls. I will definitely remember this hotel for future trips.

Stayed one night at the hotel. Service was good, people friendly. Parking is expensive. Hotel keys don’t work the elevator very well. Bathroom is dated. Pillows were super old, but bed was comfortable (we even got additional pillows and they had a strange lumpiness about them).

We stayed at the Homewood Suites on a normally hot week in July. The motion-activated air conditioning was not up to the task; it was unpleasantly warm in the room during our stay (we never got the temperature in the room below 77 degrees). We booked a one bedroom suite, but the motion activation sensor and the single cooling vent were in the bedroom. So we couldn't hang out in the living room area (because the air conditioning wouldn't sense us and turn on, and even if we got the air conditioning to turn on, the living area didn't cool off). The motion activation required a lot of motion--after two days of the AC not turning on when we got back to the room, we started dancing in front of the sensor for about ten minutes to turn it on. And it turned off overnight while we were sleeping, so we'd wake up around 4 am unpleasantly warm again. In addition, some mold in shower and discoloration on shower curtain; property generally worn. Only herbal tea provided in the room, no caffeinated tea. Conditioner bottle was empty. Good location, large room, convenient amenities. But I would not stay here again in the summer.

I did get there early .My room was ready but they wanted to charge me fifty dollars to go in early. The shower had 0 water pressure. Elevators were very slow. We ordered a room for 3, and they never made up the couch bed or put the sheets on none of pillows. We had to ask for them. Tv and the living room did not turn. It was a nice sized room, comfortable.

Every step of my stay exceeded my expectations. The entire staff was friendly, accommodating, smiling and overall amazing. Your stay starts at valet, you have the option to unpack or checkin first then get your stuff. We chose to unpack and check in since you have to take elevator to the lobby. We arrived late (about 9:30pm) but there was someone at the desk to help us complete check in. We needed an extra blanket and pillows as we utilized the sofa bed, which we had to call and ask the front desk, but they sent someone right up to deliver them. The breakfast in the AM was fantastic! Hot scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, toast, bagels, milk, OJ, coffee. It was nice to have a hot meal breakfast option. Checkout was quick and easy and getting our car from valet was quick (about 5-6 minutes). Will stay again when in area!

Went to check in At 420pm. Only 1 of the 2 rooms reserved was ready and no ETA when the other room would be ready. Asked for some sort of compensation, like the $45 parking fee. Lee M. Supervisor said she couldn’t only her general manager could and she wouldn’t be back until Monday. On Friday at 1043 am I requested for rooms to be located near each other and the young lady told me she set it up. However at check in I was told the rooms were on different floors. I went back and forth with her respectfully for 10 minutes as I felt she was being dismissive. We had arrived from Va with my 80 year old mom in tow. Tired and needed to be at an event by 6. That did not happen thanks to Homewood Suites staff. I requested a refund and again was told she could not. Then after requesting to speak with her superior several more times Lee M gave me a refund. Inconsiderate staff even though they were the cause of inconvenience, at 435, I was told room was still not ready and they still didn’t have an ETA

I was totally dissatisfied with the front desk experience on the check out date. There was no one available so that we could check out or even ask general questions. Breakfast was not available and the room for the breakfast area was locked and dark. I called a total of 18 times trying to reach the front desk to confirm our check out after we left at 6:30 a.m. The valet was nice enough to check me out.

Two front desk ppl where in adjacent room playing on their phones while i waited. They looked at me and ifnored me for two± minutes until I asked for help. The room had a dirty shower and there were feces on the toilet seat. Really?! The floor in the sower was dirty, too. The bodywash was was empty. Used shampoo instead. Come on Hilton.

Arrived at this hotel around 7:30 PM to a ghost town. Valet was not around. There was a sign there saying the valet was away. So I parked my car in a line of cars. Went to the front desk and there was also a sign there saying they had stepped away. Me and another guest who came after I did waited 10 minutes for an employee to return to check us in. I could understand if I checked in around 3 AM. But 7:30 PM and the staff is missing??? I went back FIVE different times to the valet before FINALLY finding him. For around $250 a night I expect better than this!

I can’t say enough good things. We were there for two weeks as we adopted our daughter and visited CHOP. The staff was absolutely amazing. From the valet guys and custodial staff to the front desk and managers, they all “adopted” our daughter as well. This hotel and staff will forever live in our hearts. They made our first two weeks as parents wonderful.

It was very hard to use the key card to get in your room and go up and down in the elevator. My TV didn’t work the second day. No one came to fix it although they said they would come three times I was I’m asking to be compensated for it. However, the staff was very personable and the breakfast is very good.

The staff was extremely accommodating. I informed the staff that I was traveling with my child with autism. The staff member was able to change my room near exit and on the lowest floor he had available. The changes made our stay so much better.

We were staying at this Homewood Suites for surgery at Penn Presbyterian. The staff is attentive and helpful. The complimentary breakfast buffet is generous. We found it easy to go back and forth to the hospital even in bad weather as the entrance and drop off to the hotel is completely covered and there is a small garden in front of the hotel. This is an excellent option for travellors who want to stay at the upper end of University City. The neighborhood is safe as long as one stays on the blocks which are part of the Medical Center campus.

I have one compliant, I stay here a few times a year but for some reason the breakfast setup was . I came down at 9:30 everything was finished there a long line for waffles. If there will be breakfast served until 10:00 then everything should be available until 10:00. The breakfast staff is awesome they are troopers. There’s a lady there I don’t know her name but she very accommodating but I saw she was giving a hard time. She only doing what she’s told. When it comes to food this area should be better this is for who she reports to.

The hotel is conveniently located on Walnut and 41st. The staff was helpful and rooms were good. We had booked a suite style room and our teenage kids slept in a pull out bed with us in the adjacent room. The only drawback I thought was the breakfast. Rather not buy the breakfast with room.

1) The breakfast was below average. Poor variety and little quantity (the fruit salad was finished in 45 minutes and there was never a refill). Also, the lettuce was old, the chicken was hard, etc. 2) The hallways were full of dirt. It seems they don't vacuum very often 3) I was in a room with a king bed and a sofa bed. In the sofa bed area, the air conditioning vents were just for show, and no air was coming out 4) because of that, I needed to put the air conditioning freezing in the king area, and keeping the door open. So one area was freezing and the other not too hot. 5) The sofa bed was the most painful "bed" I have been in my life. Springs that were almost popping out, other parts of the bed sagging. I had to sleep in a corner and avoid moving all night.6) There is no cold water in the shower 7) I almost didn't use the kitchen, but there was a 3-inch hole in the drain directly into the food disposal with no protection and the knives were so dull they couldn't peel an apple. 8) My room had a couple of doors connecting to the room next to this one (in order to be able to accommodate a bigger family), so because of that, my room was not quiet because of my neighbors

We really wanted to like this hotel but were very dissapointed and surprised Hilton would put thier name on it. The lobby is actually very nice but thats it. Rooms need a complete renovation. The carpet is dirty, doors are chipping, furniture is dilapidated. They ran put of most breakfast foods at 9:15 when breakfast ened at 10 am :(. The indoor heated pool was cold too. A positive was that it was quite at night though.

The breakfast quality is very good, serving multiple dishes: eggs, tacos, chia pudding, waffles and more! All the staff are friendly, especially the kitchen staff. This will be my go-to hotel whenever I’m in Philly.
