We enjoyed our one night stay. It is nice to have a kitchen in your room. The room was nicely appointed and the bathroom ample. The host is very nice and helpful with dinner and excursion suggestions. This area of Stewart is very fun for a day or two.

Old Colorado Inn was a beautiful hotel to stay while being able to walk across the street to all the shops and restaurants. A Tiki Bar with live music was located within the hotel. An added plus was the River Boardwalk down the street. Highly recommend.!!

Our first stay at this historic little gem, but it won't be our last! Front door equipped with programmable locks that allow guests to come and go as they please. Easy parking. Just a few steps to restaurants, shopping, bakery, etc. Quiet and clean. Room #10 was equipped with microwave, coffee maker, electric stove, sink, full size fridge, and TV. Nicely renovated bathroom. Comfy bed and linens.

We have stayed here twice over past ten yrs. Amazing staff and hospitality. The charm and accessibility is incredible! All facilities are clean and welcoming. Great blanket on the couch for sitting outside on our private deck area. It is exactly what you would expect for a classic and historic building. Old Wood floors but amazing bathroom upgrades etc. classic fixtures and look but treated like you are in a five star hotel! Location is perfect for everything. Walking in the river. Visiting happy hours and dinners at local restaurants. They have their own amazing restaurant also. The restaurant and bar had live music on the Sat nite we were there and we loved it. Service at bar was amazing. All the guests around us were so friendly. Music was loud in our room until 10pm since we were right above it. But we loved it in person sitting at the bar. Stay till the end! If you are a light sleeper, maybe not the best choice being in the downtown area and close to train tracks. (Few blocks, but very audible early morning) If you stay in rooms on front of building facing Colorado street you will have to accept the trash trucks for surrounding businesses and their beeping every morning at around 545 and 7 am. Food trucks and Beer trucks also delivering right outside of our window since again, lots of local restaurants and bars. This is not a reflection on the Inn. It’s just life. Would absolutely stay again- and bring earplugs! Love the place.

Location was great with restaurants and shops very close.. Room was spacious and clean. Decor was dated, mismatched and lacked lamps for reading. Kitchen had a nice Keurig, as advertised, but was otherwise poorly furnished. We were not aware until our arrival that there was a bar on property which played music till 11PM. Probably would not stay there again.

For a historic building, it was well equipped with modern amenities, like a white noise machine by the bed, modern TV, and adequate charging inputs. The location is excellent, near the water and steps away from shops and restaurants. We were lucky to be upgraded to a suite, which included a full kitchen. I would like to stay more than one night next time. Oh, and free downtown parking!
For a historic building, it was well equipped with modern amenities, like a white noise machine by the bed, modern TV, and adequate charging inputs. The location is excellent, near the water and steps away from shops and restaurants. We were lucky to be upgraded to a suite, which included a full kitchen. The property itself is historic in feel. A nice pool centers the group of century cottages and the hotel. You walk through tropical walkways that are well maintained and have a private feel to them. We've stayed in 2 different cottages and both were old, unique spaces, decorated with antique furnishings and century old hardwood floors. Quirky layouts, awkward even, but fun and interesting. The convenience to restaurants and shopping is unparalleled. We walked the boardwalk every day where you can walk to 4 or 5 riverfront restaurants, the farmers market, and party boat. Walk up a block to Five Points and access another dozen restaurants, pubs and diners. I highly recommend a visit here in Stuart Florida for the views, the food, and laidback, tropical feel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Colorado Inn from check in until the time we left! It was great to learn more about the history of the hotel, the location is unbeatable with a reserved parking lot and the ability to get anywhere you’d want in Downtown Stuart by walking or tram and the room was great! Clean, spacious, very comfortable bed- can’t wait to return!

We found this amazing hotel on a whim needing a place to stay and were so thankful to have found a great place!!! The Roosevelt suite was perfect for our family of 4!! Perfect location, super cute, adorable, walkable to so many restaurants and shops and lastly SOOO clean! We cannot wait to return to Stuart and this perfect place!

Key West Suite was clean and comfortable and very spacious!. A/C kept us plenty cool. Minnie was very helpful and welcoming. Love the overall feel of this place, very well kept for the age. Nice area to walk to shops or down to the river walk.

Charm to spare. Recently renovated 1918 building. Tastefully decorated and clean. The rooms are a little on the small side but not too small. Perfectly located within walking distance to everything downtown. I will stay here again next time I am staying in Stuart.

I’ve never written a review like this one, because I’ve never had an experience awesome enough to write one like it! I booked this place on a whim because I was tired of the large hotel experience. The Old Colorado Inn is amazing. Full of history, charm, beauty and comfort. We stayed only one night, and both my husband and I wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was in an historical cottage that has been renovated in the best way possible - keeping the charm & history while upgrading for current day comforts. Good Wi-fi and outlets for electronics. The staff were terrific - super welcoming, warm, helpful and attentive. Great communications before and after our stay. Our bed, pillows and towels were cozy, plush and fluffy. This place blew me away - in every way. Book your stay here, you will not regret it! Close to old downtown Stuart and so many places walkable! Cute shops and lots of restaurants, boardwalk along the river. We can hardly wait to come back and stay here again!

Perfectly lovely! Amazing location, incredibly helpful staff (welcoming text, carried luggage upstairs, call thanking me for my stay), charming Floridian room with a clean, comfy bed and beautiful art. Just perfect all around.

I unexpectedly found myself in need of accommodations while awaiting boat repairs. I had never heard of this hotel. I just happened upon while searching for a room. I can honestly say I am thankful for the boat trouble. Without I would have never found the Old Colorado Inn. This is an exceptional hotel with an impressive staff. Upon arrival, Minnie at the front desk gave me a tour and the property and provided valuable information on the surrounding area. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. This hotel has earned my business and my recommendation. Whenever I find myself with 50 miles of Stuart, FL. This is where I am staying.

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Colorado Inn from check in until the time we left! It was great to learn more about the history of the hotel, the location is unbeatable with a reserved parking lot and the ability to get anywhere you’d want in Downtown Stuart by walking or tram and the room was great! Clean, spacious, very comfortable bed- can’t wait to return!

Mallory greeted us at our suite and showed us around. She was friendly and answered any questions we had. The process was so easy. Checkout with Steven was equally as quick. We enjoyed our stay and loved the Oasis Suite. We look forward to another stay in the future.

Just a few steps to restaurants, shopping, bakery, etc. Quiet and clean. Room #10 was equipped with microwave, coffee maker, electric stove, sink, full size fridge, and TV. Nicely renovated bathroom. Comfy bed and linens.

The property itself is historic in feel. A nice pool centers the group of century cottages and the hotel. You walk through tropical walkways that are well maintained and have a private feel to them. We've stayed in 2 different cottages and both were old, unique spaces, decorated with antique furnishings and century old hardwood floors. Quirky layouts, awkward even, but fun and interesting. The convenience to restaurants and shopping is unparalleled. We walked the boardwalk every day where you can walk to 4 or 5 riverfront restaurants, the farmers market, and party boat. Walk up a block to Five Points and access another dozen restaurants, pubs and diners. I highly recommend a visit here in Stuart Florida for the views, the food, and laidback, tropical feel.

Old Colorado Inn was a beautiful hotel to stay while being able to walk across the street to all the shops and restaurants. A Tiki Bar with live music was located within the hotel. An added plus was the River Boardwalk down the street. Highly recommend.!!

Propertynwas as advertised. I completely missed the rules around using the pool. Ifnubwant pool access you must book a room that surrounds the pool. Also, they just opened a restaurant, it would be great to include something like a breakfast with the room. Overall great place.

We have stayed here twice over past ten yrs. Amazing staff and hospitality. The charm and accessibility is incredible! All facilities are clean and welcoming. Great blanket on the couch for sitting outside on our private deck area. It is exactly what you would expect for a classic and historic building. Old Wood floors but amazing bathroom upgrades etc. classic fixtures and look but treated like you are in a five star hotel! Location is perfect for everything. Walking in the river. Visiting happy hours and dinners at local restaurants. They have their own amazing restaurant also. The restaurant and bar had live music on the Sat nite we were there and we loved it. Service at bar was amazing. All the guests around us were so friendly. Music was loud in our room until 10pm since we were right above it. But we loved it in person sitting at the bar. Stay till the end! If you are a light sleeper, maybe not the best choice being in the downtown area and close to train tracks. (Few blocks, but very audible early morning) If you stay in rooms on front of building facing Colorado street you will have to accept the trash trucks for surrounding businesses and their beeping every morning at around 545 and 7 am. Food trucks and Beer trucks also delivering right outside of our window since again, lots of local restaurants and bars. This is not a reflection on the Inn. It’s just life. Would absolutely stay again- and bring earplugs! Love the place.

Anytime I stay in the Stuart area, I stay here! The owner and staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. Each room is different with its own personality. Very clean and beds/linens are outstanding! Love that you can walk to multiple dining options.

Loved every second of our stay. They text me room was ready before check in!! Greeted by I believe Christopher. Who took My luggage up the stairs to my beautiful room. I told him it was a birthday getaway for my boyfriend who was meeting me. Never felt more at home. Hospitality A+ That evening we went out got back to a card with a little box of chocolate covered strawberries from the Old Colorado Inn with a birthday hand written card. Nice beautiful comfy bed. Kitchen area living area and bedroom! Clean, cozy lots of windows ! Can’t wait to go back. Nothing like this family owned business!!

Additionally, the owner personally reached out to say thank you and inquiring how my stay was…. pretty much unheard of these days. They have my business for a lifetime.
