I have stayed here for decades and they have maintained their quality. Best value in Napa, especially if you’re interested in the wineries in Yountville, Rutherford, Oakville, St Helena and Calistoga. Easy drive to these areas for dinner too. The pool and sauna are clean too and never overcrowded.

Great room. Very quiet. Nice breakfast. Comfy bed. Great set up in the room. Nice sauna and hot tub. Nice outdoor fire in the evenings. Best shower I have ever had.

A pet-friendly hotel with updated, clean rooms, with jacuzzi and sauna available during our winter visit. Nice green yard for dog walking, and fire pit running in the evenings made our stay even more enjoyable. Great service and value. Location is perfect for walking to wineries or driving to Calistoga for spas.

El Bonita is an older property but is updated and very clean and comfortable. Hot tub and sauna were great. Continental breakfast was on par with similar level hotels and motels. Great location in the middle of Napa Valley. Great value, comfortable room, good amenities and good service. Free parking. I’d definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

Room very small. Wallpaper on the bathroom torn out and retape it with staples. Closet is musky and weird smell with a lot of spider web and spider. Obviously not clean. Coffee maker full of leftover coffee not drained or clean. If all these simple details are overlooked. I doubt how their housekeeping clean the room? I have always travel and stay in hotel due to work. This is the first time I wish I can finish my work first so I can check out. For $206 per day with this questionaire cleanliness. I doubt I will return

I’ve stayed at a variety of hotels in my life and this I thought would be a great romantic night on our anniversary to stay. The room was not what I thought I was getting the picture had an out door chair set. Next the pool and hot tub were not the cleanest. And then after after an okay night sleep did wake up when the wall decors that was duct taped apparently fell off we woke to ANTS! In the bathroom on the counter on the floor on our luggage. Everywhere. We didn’t have anything then normal garbage to account for an ant farm. I packed up and left! When I told the front desk they said oh yea everyone is saying that. And don’t expect a continental breakfast. There is none. If I could get my money back that be great but alas it was a right stay for what was to be a romantic night

This motel was perfect for our stay. The rooms were clean, and the employees were all very friendly. The breakfast selection was not very big but everything that they offered was high quality and delicious. I was very impressed, and I would love to come back when we are in the area again.

We have stayed at the El Bonita several times now and have always found it to be a wonderful experience. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable and the staff is most friendly and helpful. Beside all that, it's most reasonable in price, especially for St.Helena.

They let us check in 2 hours early! Everyone was very friendly. The rooms are really cozy. The retro vibe is very cool. The tile work in the bathroom was gorgeous! Yes, I would stay here again.

Wonderful, recently renovated rooms! Small but plenty of space for one or two guests. Very quaint with comfortable beds. I had a hard time finding a variety of tv channels and could not access YouTube streaming but wasn’t a deal breaker. Would definitely stay again and found a great price on Expedia!

I stayed in one of the updated rooms facing the pool and had a great stay! The front desk was very helpful and kind. I was able to check in a bit early and the price of the room was a great price. I also enjoyed that they provided a simple breakfast in the morning with our stay.

They supposed to have a continental breakfast that starts at 07:30. We got there at 07:36 and there was one plain doughnut. I came back three more times later and it was not restocked. I complained to the staff and they said that things were whipped out earlier. I told them I was here earlier and she did not offer anything. The motel was not even half full. Bad customer service.

Arrived and only after checking in and going to our room did we see that the water heater was broken at the hotel and the rug in our room (right next to where repairs were happening) was soaking wet. Obviously they had no way of knowing they’d need to replace the water heater but 1) they could have told us at check in and 2) the front desk person was so aggressive and hostile that it was actually shocking, and especially considering the fact that there was no water in an entire building of the property. It was super disappointing and upsetting. Our money was eventually refunded but truly without any help from the property. I’ve stayed there before but really can’t see myself staying again in light of the behavior of one particularly aggressive staff person.

The room was outdated, air quality felt humid. One staff member was not very friendly or helpful. I came home at night around 11 PM and realize I had forgot my key. I was able to wave him down as he was about to leave. He appeared very upset and angry with me. I tried to call the 24/7 number, but no one answered prior to flagging him down.

Did not get cleaning service first day. Called office at 9 pm and he said -what do you want me to do??? I asked for towels and he could not not get those. He did eventually give me a credit which I did appreciate it. Went to office next morning. No manager and clerk did not know how to get one. Had to go to office again to finally get cleaning service. Cleaning staff was great. Got only one half hour extension late check out when asked for 1.5 hours. Continental breakfast and coffee poor.

Convenient to the winery we wanted to go to. On a busy road so not a lot of things to walk to around it. We were in the back units so it was nice and quiet. It's a cute complex. We could hear the people above us but it was a Sunday night so we were lucky it wasn't crowded. The unit was clean and very cute. The bed was comfy. Would definitely consider staying again.

The property really surprised us for a Motel. It was very clean and seemed renovated not long ago. It is located about 1/2-3/4 mile from downtown St. Helena. So walking was easy. After 25 years of visiting St. Helena and surrounding areas only to drive back to the Bay same day, we will be staying at this property moving forward. Price performance was spot on. Good value.

Great location, staff, and overall property. It’s cool they’re pet friendly and even have a dedicated section for them. The breakfast was below average with no hot food. Only pastries, coffee, fruit, and yogurt. For the price, breakfast isn’t really something to complain about though. Will definitely stay again.
