During our 3 day stay, I had interactions with 8 different staff members. All were extremely courteous, professional, and accommodating. The included breakfast, was your average continental style, but the customer service of those preparing the breakfast was outstanding. There were areas of the building that were a little messy/dirty, but it's only because they're in the middle of renovations/remodeling. My family and I, would definitely stay here again.

The Hotel was under construction. This was not mentioned when we booked. There was no lobby and no breakfast room. The breakfast offered was cold cereal and packaged muffins and sandwiches that had to be microwaved in your own room.

The electronic key system was not functioning during my 3-day stay. That required a staff person to let me in my room each time I returned. The staff was very nice and friendly, but that was very inconvenient. The power operated window shade in my room did not operate correctly. I didn't complain about it given the burden they had with the key system malfunctioning

Ice machines on two different floors wouldn’t give ice. Coffee can sized trash cans were pointless in the rooms.graffiti on the wall between the main elevators on first floor was trashy looking. A paint roller would have fixed it 5 minutes, but it made the overall niceness of the lobby area look rundown and careless. Beds were very clean and comfortable. Above average in my travel experience. Staff were nice and accommodating.

Convenient location, easy to get to, Check in went smoothly. The room was nice enough, but when I used the bath mat to wipe up some water I had spilled on the bathroom floor, it was obvious the floor was dirty. I called the desk to set a wake up call for the morning. I woke up before the set time, and after a few minutes realized that the wake up call had never come. I called the desk and was told their alarm system was down. Period. I asked why someone didn't call me directly, but the clerk just repeated that the alarm system was down.

Far too much ambient light. I ended up buying masking tape to secure the blinds to the walls to stop the outside light from leaking in. I also covered up the light switch for the bathroom and the smoke detector as they has lights on them too.

Staff was very pleasant. After a long day on the road, I didn't really appreciate being given keys to a room that didn't work. The front desk clerk cut new keys and directed us to a different room. Oops! He goofed. Breakfast was wonderful and the woman staffing it was both pleasant and efficient.

I had read that Dayton had good, unique pizza places and asked the front desk staff if there was a local pizza place close. Marion's was right behind the hotel and it was sooo yummy. Great suggestion. There were a lot of restaurants very close to this hotel. Great location!

The breakfast staff was very helpful and accommodating for special diets. Ms. Martha made me look forward to early breakfast. The housekeeping staff was great as my husband left his slippers and was able to retrieve them.
